Never again! we'd give no stars, if we could. We've…read morepurchased many appliances here over the years, and have never had a bad experience. We won't patronize them again, for sure. We purchased a d/w and a OTR microwave, and paid for installation. The mess that was left behind was no where near "broom clean." In addition, when we opened our front door later in the evening, we found boxes, plastic wrapping, parts, etc strewn across our steps! the employees had entered thru our rear door, so we had no idea they had left such a mess behind. not only was the d/w poorly installed, it took us sending multiple photos and e/mails and making several phone calls to get someone out to correct the issue. We try to support local companies, but when friends purchased appliances for less money from one of the big boxes, had no installation problems and no debris left behind, why would anyone shop at orvilles? Past experience certainly no longer predicts current service.

DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Im surprised this…read moreplace isnt shut down by now because the way they operate is insane. I came in a few months ago searching for a mattress. I finally settled on one for 500$ and was making payments over a couple months ( im a student, 8 months pregnant, ect). i wanted the mattress to be in my house before i went into labor. a few weeks ago i was going to make my last payment and ready to pick up my mattress. I went in (i live 30 min away mind you) for them to tell me that they dont have the mattress in stock. i was upset but was assured the mattress would come in soon. I called back many time in the upcoming weeks to see if the mattress came, they kept telling me its on some random truck, which they could not get in contact with because the trucking company has no phone number... only an email and they werent getting a response from the truck company. now its been a month, and i have no mattress but they want me to pay for the mattress... I was then told i could come in, get a 10 inch mattress of the same brand and they would throw in a "free" box spring. i again drove 30 minutes to this place and they forgot to inform me that the 10 inch mattress was not the same softness as the one i originally ordered. i ask for corporate numver, they tell me there is no corporate number. i ask for an email, they said they cant give me an email bc that email they use is for employees only.... what the hell bro. They tell me i should go online and submit an inquiry about my frustrations . I then ask for a refund. they say they will keep 50$ of my refund because i had the product on layaway. im very confused as to why they would withhold 50$ if they themselves dont even have the product!!! I ask them, when i originally came in, did you guys even have the mattress to begin with??? The manager (Tim) says he doesnt even know. Stay with me... then to process my refund i used three different cards when i came in to make my payments. he told me that each card had to be on hond so he can process each individual transaction to each individual card. one of them i dont have because it expired and overall to process individual refunds is extremely inconvenient. This place needs to be shut down and out of business. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went to Raymour and Flanigan and was able to get a softer mattress, better quality, better customer service and a better price right away. i will never come to this place again. no wonder why theyre always empty, parking lot never had cars in it and they have low reviews. i should of known.

In 2003 I bought my complete set of kitchen appliances from SouthTowns Appliance at this location…read moreand they would have gotten 5 starts if I were writing Yelp reviews back then. Today, the parts, service and repair people who were in the back have expanded to the entire facility and are keeping up the tradition of excellence. My 19-year-old dishwasher finally wore out. Me, being "thrifty" aka "cheap" priced a new one at Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot before heading here. Each of them had a model to fit my requirements (24 inch stainless steel front and tub) on sale. None had the one I wanted on display or in stock. I would have to order and wait. Only Lowes had someone in the store who knew how to find a dishwasher in their system without getting help. The appliance department in Best Buy looks like someone went through and shoved everything into a pile. I saved the best store till last. The dishwasher I wanted was on display in the front of the store. The knowledgeable salesperson knew the price and answered my questions. Within a minute I knew the price here was better than any of the big box prices. I ordered my dishwasher on the spot. It was in stock, delivered, and installed at the date and time promised. Bravo!

Mr. Reilly diagnosed the problem as a leaky housing, which costs almost as much as a new washer. He advised against repairing it. On examination, the old belt was starting to fail at the splice, so it was replaced. Now my clothes dry in half the time. Service was excellent. Calls were answered. Questions were answered.
