I love this store. Through its postings, website, and Facebook videos I feel I am connecting with my heritage.

My family came by Sentir Cubano during our vacation because I did some research and found out it was a wonderful store to buy some Cuban themed memorabilia, decor, and souvenirs. I have Cuban ancestry and I am born and bred in Miami, but moved to Ohio back in 2019. My family are the only Cubans in the county, and some of the few hispanics or heck minorities in the entire county. Sometimes you have to represent, and I was looking for some tasteful decorations for my office. My brother also wanted the same. We definitely found that here. My brother bought a beautiful glass decoration of a sailboat with the Cuban colors for the sails, I bought a clock that said Cuban time. I also bought a tiny decorative mini cuban guitar... we also found some great home decor for our kitchen. This place was wonderful. One item we really thought about purchasing was a Cuban rocking chair, but shipping it would have been a pain. This place also has domino sets, cuban coins, cuban historical items, and some hilarious plaques and shirts with Cuban jokes/sayings. They also sell cuban coffee in bricks, as well as little snacks. All the store employees are helpful, kind and friendly. We talked and laughed the entire time as I told them how different it was up there. Again, it was a wonderful experience. This place made me feel truly Cuban! read more

Incredible place. I'm Cuban and have lived in Miami for the majority and didn't know about this gem but I am glad I got to visit. I went with my mom and husband and we absolutely loved it! It has all the things you'd hope a Cuban store would have... dominoes, domino table, guayaberas, maps, and hats but it also has some other incredible goodies. We saw Cuban money, vintage Coca Cola bottles from the 20s, old coffee makers ( I am talking about old school like in the 60s), movies, music, books, treats, cookbooks, rocking chairs, gorgeous decorative tiles, signs, even a military uniform. What didn't it have?! It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend it. The customer service was excellent. The ladies were preparing Cuban coffee and they offered it to us.... delish of course! We absolutely loved it. It brought back a lot of memories for my mom and I. I highly recommend coming here especially if you want to really experience all things Cuban. read more

Great place to find some cuban memorabilia with cuban flair from clothing to house items

Don't get me wrong- I think this shop is super nice. If my mom and sisters hadn't visited Cuba back in May 2019- who knows...I still may have passed up on the thought to even buy them Cuban gifts from here. For one- I would feel like I was cheating by getting them these souvenirs. And second- they're from Miami. It's not an insult. That's just my 2¢. In any case, the ladies here carry a shipload of Cuban stuff. Hubs on the other hand, had a different outlook from mine and went ahead anyway with a roped tile souvenir displaying 3 Cuban drinks with printed recipes on them. Some prices are ok. But some of the naturally made wood carve frames and other labor intensive items made by hand, came at a premium. read more

What a lovely store! I went to Home Depot and we passed by this place and I gave it a try because I have been looking for a guayabera for my son. Sadly, they only had white ones. Despite that, they had so much diversity on guayaberas for adults. I have a little too many, so I passed on the guayabera for this time. Instead, I got a nice small frame (see pictures) for my office. They have a huge variety of items. From domino's tables to even coffee. They also have nice art that shows the history of Cuba. I loved it. If I don't find the guayabera for my son in any other place, I will try again here. I also have to give it to the customer service, both ladies were amazing at supporting me since the moment I arrived. Come here without rushing, so you can pick exactly what you want, even though there is plenty of stuff you will love. Suerte! read more

The best Cuban souvenir shop in Little Havana. From vintage posters, colorful espresso cups, and paella cookbooks, they had it all and some. I could have easily spent an hour browsing through many of the knicks knacks. I ended up buying a vintage photo print for $6.99. The staff was very friendly, spoke Cuban Spanish, and hailed our cab for us. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. read more

Sentir Cubano is an awesome store in Miami that features all sorts of Cuban items from money to shirts making fun of Castro to even jewelry. The staff is super friendly and they have just about anything you are looking for even books on Cuba and if they don't have it i am sure they will look for it. Small store jammed packed with items so getting around the store can be hard sometimes when there is a lot of people and they only have one bathroom so if you have to go you might one to go somewhere else. I have been here many times and when i drive to Miami i try to make this place one of the places i stop at to visit. read more

From Hialeah to SW 8 St is a not so pleasant drive- especially with road closures, but in my opinion, there is no better place for Cuban memorabilia, and souvenirs (which included beautiful linen guayaberas) and other popular items, from hard-to-find, original version Nitza Villapol's "Cocina Al Minuto" (the Cuban cooking bible) to beautiful laminated Domino tables and sets. Owner/operator Maria Vazquez has the Rolls-Royce of "Cuban" kitsch stores and even if you don't see it, she can probably find it. No need to worry about overstuffed luggage or accidental breakage on your flight. They will ship your purchase anywhere in the contiguous states and Puerto Rico. My cousin's business associate loves to cook. The search for her perfect gift went like this. We walked in and my cousin is almost immediately overwhelmed. Amazingly, within 5 minutes, we had a gift basket that anyone who loves her picadillo and frijoles negros would LOVE. A cute burlap bag filled typical Cuban spices, a festively tropical spoon rest, and a copy of the original Cocina al Minuto did the trick- and did you read that they ship? Of course, we stayed at least 2 more hours looking through all the curios where in an old (1958 Habana phone directory, I found my dad's business ads and listing and my great uncle's. This is a must-be-seen, great-place-to-shop for unique, creative, memory stirring gifts kind of place! Best to park at nearby Home Depot and walk a half block back. read more

I usually go here on all my visits to Florida but I feel as though it has gone down in the variety and quality of the products. The owner used to be always there and I think that helped the sales help be a little more professional. Now they just sit at that counter and do nothing ( or at least that's the experience I had) . No one ever asked can I help you with something. On my last trip, I bought my husband a t-shirt and when we got home I saw it had a tiny hole. I took a picture and sent it to them and never heard a word about it. I was very disappointed since I really thought they would try and do right with a customer. Traveled quite a bit to get to this little shop but it was worth the trip. Very cute and full of lots of nostalgia. Was able to buy my son a very good quality guayabera size 2T and a little "mal de ojo" pin. My daughter didn't want to be left out and they had very cute "mal de ojo" bracelets at pretty good prices. This is a great little store. I come here every once in a while and always end up buying something.
