Since April 21st, Senske has cancelled SIX scheduled appointments for my lawn service -- FIVE of those cancellations have happened since last Monday alone. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication and accountability from management. I have called THREE separate times since last Wednesday requesting a call back from the assistant manager at this location, Jeremiah, regarding these repeated cancellations. I have yet to receive a single call or response. On my third call, the customer service representative assured me they would follow up on my "open ticket," make sure Jeremiah contacted me, and if he didn't, they personally would. That never happened either. Meanwhile, my yard is now suffering because the services I'm paying for are not being completed. I now have crabgrass appearing throughout parts of my lawn, large dried/dead spots developing from lack of treatments, and I'm literally out in my yard hand-pulling weeds myself with a tool because the work Senske was supposed to be doing simply isn't getting done. At this point, between the constant cancellations and the complete lack of communication or concern from management, I'm seriously considering cancelling my services altogether and finding another company that will actually show up, communicate with customers, and do the work they advertise. I have been a customer for a number of years. They do weed bed control and driveway weed control and just started doing lawn care as far as fertilizer. Their weed control was spotty. Sometimes you'd have to come out several times. Many times they would send someone out if there wasn't good service and take care of it. I asked for a bid on spraying my Arbovitis, and they gave me a $2,300 bid. I thought that was high, so I called around and got a $500 bid for the same work. After that, I determined I couldn't trust Senske anymore to treat me fairly. read more

They sprayed our neighbors house. We were made aware of the error when our neighbor called and told us they had our billing invoice. My husband checked our records on line and sure enough they sprayed the neighbors next door. We both have very large house numbers on the houses and also on the curb. Husband called was on hold 16 minutes then cut off. He finally got someone in billing. He asked for a refund and they said it takes up to 10 business days to get one after it has been reviewed. He was able to cancel our account and was told a manager would be in touch. No attempt was made to apologize for the error or concern that our neighbor didn't want their house and yard sprayed. Sad to see there was no customer service and we have yet heard from a manager. They were also made aware of the situation on our on line account we had with them in the review section. Problematic - This company is a liability. The driver has absolutely no regard, concern or respect for your property. They don't mind causing damage and just leaving it. When contacting the office, you will encounter the same level of disrespect. I sent a contact request/complaint for 5 days in a row and never once did they make an attempt to respond to the problem. I strongly suggest trying a different company. Its one thing if the let you know about a problem they cause and at least make an attempt to rectify it - something completely different if they hide from the problem and don't make the slightest attempt to address the problem. So recently just signed up with Senske to help with pest control problems that I have in my new home. With ants and box elders. They signed a contract that said for a whole year they'd treat the plants in my yard and the pests infesting. Took them two weeks to come out to do anything. And then when they did finally come for the first treatment. Unfortunately, it didn't take like I had hoped. And after over a week of an increase of infestation that requires more aggressive treatment, quoted by the pest controller, I was informed their manager is unwilling to provide the needed treatment. didn't say it couldn't be done. Just said they won't. No offer for an alternative just the same exact treatment that has shown to be ineffective. Again, After they diagnosed it needs more aggressive treatment. To the point of them needing to go under the crawlspace to spray for the colony, management told their pest controller, no. I'm not mad at the pest controller who came to my house. They were very kind and reported the situation. But I am not a fan of knowing their manager said they weren't going to do anything to fix this aggressive pest problem. Or when they even plan to fulfill their obligations on the rest of the contract recently signed. No word on when they're going to actually treat the plants aka the breeding ground for the box elders. So no treating the plants, no going into the crawlspace for the colony, to spray the inside or outside, and they knew that this was problematic from the last time they showed up. But we're going to repeat the exact same treatment that has failed. Well Senske, not going to do the job, you nullified your own contract. You promised to take care of them whatever it took. You broke your promise in about 2 to 3 weeks of just getting started with you. I understand patience but this is... I can't work with someone unwilling to do the work. Side note; I was also informed that the manager said it was problematic for using bug spray on the ants. It was 'counterintuitive' to their bait that they were leave behind. It didn't seem to be an issue when I was using over-the-counter stuff the 1st treatment. And yes they were made aware of it and never said it was a problem. I only bug bombed the house because the infestation grew out of control and I did call them 1st to help but didn't get a response till yesterday. I don't know why they would've said something like that about the bug bombing. Because if I hadn't bug bombed at all, my house would've been crawling with ants that they would've said they to aggressive to treat. Smh I don't like any company that offers services and charges people for those services without following through with what they're supposed to do. First day was fine. But you guys needed to do more, which you said in contract you would do, if the first treatment didn't work. It didn't. Second time you guys have been called and you're refusing to do anything other than the exact same Ineffectual treatment. Horrible customer service. Sent my account to collections with out billing me directly. I called to following up and ask why my account was in collections. I had service with them in year 2023 and called to cancel services mid summer. asked to pay balance of account to satisfy my bills, payed amount told and forgot about them. Senske called me and asked to have services start again the following year and I declined. I was doing the services myself and didn't need their services. late year 2024, November I received a bill in collections from Senske. I had no billing attempts from them directly. I had no calls or attempts to get payment from them at all. I called Senske as soon a I saw a bill in collections. I was told I have no choice but to pay collections and they can't help me. They have no management that can talk to me . I was told their company is a corporation that is owned by several individuals/ partners locally and abroad. I asked to speak to an office manager to discuss this and have my account looked up to verify my communications and verify any billing attempts to revive payment. I was told again and again there was nobody to talk to about my concerns. My Credit and good payment history is obviously no concern to them since they are a large company/ corporation. This is a company that has totally lost touch with its customers and have no personal connection what's so ever. Buyer beware , this company will bill you a year later via collections. They will make no attempt to communicate with you directly. They have nobody to help you if you have concerns. They only want your money and are too big to work with you if you have problems. On the day of the appointment and late in the afternoon, I called to see when they would be arriving and was told they were squeezing people in before the freeze arrives and that if no one came that evening to call in the morning. I had Senske blow out my sprinklers last fall. I turned the water on myself and discovered that they had neglected to turn off one of the valves. As a result I need a new pressure valve. Discovered that it would cost me $150 for them to drive out to my house so I could show them the error they had made. Turning on thewater myself voided their "warranty", therefore all repairs were my responsibility, plus the $150 service call. I had not been made aware of having to use them to turn my system on. Tech's are great, but whoever is running the company is not. Billing has been messed up multiple times and inconsistent. They have lied to us and flat out refused to come service our house, mind you we only needed weeds sprayed and fertilized. I had issues with Senskes lawn services a few years ago and stopped using them. Then last year decided to give their pest control service a try (I dont know what I was thinking!). Last week, their tech showed up at 7:26 sprayed around my front porch and left at 7:30. He did not even go to the back or sides of the house. He left an invoice on my door indicating all the things he did that he did NOT actually do. I contacted Senske and they said.....we train our techs to be efficient.... Then they promptly took payment out of my account. I strongly recommend against using this company for any services. There is a reason they only have 1.5 stars! read more

Got a call on Monday June 13 stating that I was on the schedule to have lawn and tree service that day (was never informed about the 6/13 appt.) Received a call that my appointment had been rescheduled to Wednesday June 15. I waited around all day for a technician to stop by on June 15. I got a call at 4 pm that my appointment was going to be rescheduled because the technician was sick that day. You wait until 4pm to let me know your guy is out from r the day. The technician finally came and cleared the area. He was very apologetic. He had come the day he was told but was not given clear direction on what needed to be cared for so he had missed the large overgrown weed patch. When we called to find out why it still had not been taken care of, I once again called and left a message with the service manager. He did not return my call yet again. Again, I would not recommend Senske to anyone. I shared my negative experience and damage done to our lawn. Thier Business Manager replies by saying she apologizes for ANY PERCEIVED UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. Maybe this is way they continue to get bad reviews and they perceive the complaints are not true. There is no perception, your folks damaged my lawn and failed to follow through with what you agreed to do to repair it. It has made a huge difference in freeing up time to do other things, knowing the outside appearance of my property looks good and is well cared for. Customer service is excellent. I've appreciated that they consider your preferences and wishes and fulfill them accordingly. Senske contacts you when they are scheduled to come, they let you know when they are arriving soon, and they always leave information on what they accomplished and the condition of the lawn and property. Senske Christmas Decor is terrible! We've used a couple times and every year we must contact them At Least 3 times to get it right. They send employees out to correct their initial mistake and when they arrive, they have no clue what to use. One time someone came and asked us how do we access your railing on top and we tell them you guys use a ladder. So then they have to send someone else out later that week. Every year we tell them to connect the Christmas lights to the power outlets on the eves... they never do and we have a power surge and loose power to certain to respective circuit breaker. They hire additional people temporarily to hang Christmas decor who have not a clue what to do. No one ever contacts you to apologize and when you complain, they just ignore you. Had a drip line that needed repaired, a technician came out an fix it, an in the process caused my 6 sprinkler zones to stop working, they were working perfectly before he came. I have been rescheduled 4 times, 2 for someone calling in sick I was told, an the other 2 was no shows, all 4 times was rescheduled to days I didn't agree upon, nor would of been told about if I didn't call myself to ask about it. I had another company fix the problem, and Senske can send my bill to collections for all I care. I wont be making any purchases in the future anyways. Never. Use. Senske. I hired Senske and prepaid nearly 500 dollars for weed preventative, aeration, overseeding and fertilizer. This was only for my front yard. I decided to do the back yard maintenance on my own. My front yard is patchy and not nearly as green as my back yard. There are large spots where the seed that Senske used never even grew. I spent a total of 24 dollars on fertilizer and 11 dollars on seed for my back yard. I would have expected spending 1300% more would have yielded better results. I'm not trying to be annoying to you all but this is not fair at all. I went up to senske where a lady and two men asked me if my lights were plugged in. I wouldn't leave my house without trying to program the lights nor making sure their plugged in. I appreciate the help they gave me by telling me there will be someone to fix my lights the next day. My lights are STILL not on. My father in law went up to senkse TODAY where they asked him the same "Are the lights plugged in" They also told him that there will be someone out to fix them... This review is in reference to the Kennewick Senske location. We have been a customer since 2019. In April we noticed damage to our lawn (large patches of dead grass). We called Senske and they assured us that a technician would be out to spray for bugs in the next few weeks. They didn't show up until June 1st. I spoke with him and he told me there was no way there was bug damage in our yard because they are just now spraying for bugs. After spraying he stated we did indeed have bug damage and they would fix the damage within the next two weeks. Our invoice states this as well. He also informed me that he knocked down our rain chain and left it for us to reattach. Called Senske yesterday as it has now been 1.5 months with visible damage to the lawn. They told me they'd have a supervisor call me. No apology and so far, no call from the supervisor. I posted this complaint on their website - and they either deleted it or buried it. read more
