After having 3 bids on the removal of (8) 100-foot Cottonwood trees, I was considering praying for a hurricane to take care of them! I came across Boyd's number and Rudy came out and gave a quote. The price was about $1500.00 cheaper than anywhere else. A few days later, he called and said his crew was going to be off for a week until their next big job, so he wanted to know if he could offer an even lower price so his crew could work that week. I accepted the offer and he accepted interest free payments over 3 months. He was able to get his crew a job and those sad trees are history! The biggest problem is that the gates do not line up properly when they close, making them difficult to use. Both gate latches also fail to close correctly. I even asked them to fix one latch because it was originally installed on the outside of the fence, but it still doesn't function properly after their attempt to correct it. The overall craftsmanship is poor. The spacing between the fence boards is inconsistent throughout the entire fence, with some gaps much wider than others. It gives the fence an unprofessional appearance and makes it obvious that little attention was paid to detail. I expected much better workmanship for the amount of money I paid.
