The chairs you get to sit in are MASSAGE chairs so not only can you get a head massage, treatment, and facial, you also get a full body massage. I felt like I was in heaven. I got the rejuvenation treatment, and got a full scalp analysis, deep cleansing, massage, treatment, scalp detox, and hair blow dry. You're also able to add on add-ons, so I added the mini-facial and hair mask. Every step of the way I felt so taken care of. I'm so confused because I booked due to everyone mentioning the relaxing atmosphere, soothing sounds, being explained everything... and I did not experience this. The spa music was barely noticeable and no one said anything to us. What we could expect in the service wasn't explained. For the hair analysis, she gestured us over to the machine, began scanning, and just pointed at the machine, and gave very generic "good" or "not good" descriptions and we read the descriptions ourselves. Dont get me wrong - my hair feels amazing! But my scalp is now kind of itchy like it was irritated. There was a shampoo that tingled on my head and I just figure it was supposed to because it smelled like tea tree which is a little tingly for me in general. The "massage" chairs are kind of small and didn't hit the shoulders and stopped halfway through the service (and you don't have the controller to turn it back on, only the service provider) and were kind of small and uncomfortable. I didn't know where to place my arms comfortably. The waterfall part that is on the forehead overstimulated me because it's left running for 5-10mins and all I heard was the sound of the machine running, the rushing water, and the sounds of cars and people outside - and I felt like it was just never going to end because it wasn't explained what was happening, so I did ask them to stop after I got overstimulated by it. But I recognize this was likely just me who didn't like this. I appreciated the little manual massages on the head throughout and shoulders at the end. Personally, I wasn't relaxed at all during the experience, perhaps due to my expectations, but my hair does feel amazingly clean. I just wish my scalp wasn't burning/itchy right now. read more

What an amazing and relaxing experience getting both a head spa and mini facial plus guasha. The whole time my butt and legs were getting massaged by the chair which in itself felt very good. The mini facial mask she put on had a tingly sensation and felt like it was diving into my pores. She then applied this cooling cream afterwards which made my face feel clean and lifted. The guasha tool was used all over my face and my skin felt so tightened. The hair wash plus all the treatments was done while my face and eyes were covered up on a mask. Highly recommend as they used Japanese carbonated spring technology. It's sooo worth for the amount of services you get. This was much needed because my scalp was feeling icky. After the initial scan, I was informed that I had an oily scalp and dandruff so the Entire Ritual treatment would be catered to target those two issues. The facial came first and I was not sure what product was put on my face because it stung but I want to say it was doing its thing because everything else from there was smooth sailing. I felt rejuvenated and beautified, if you will. We went to a separate room for the head spa and it was in a massage chair! I almost fell asleep from how comfortable it was. They did multiple washes and even some head massages during the whole process. The final step was blow drying with some extra treatment from a machine that did so many things. I recently got a rejuvenation scalp treament with Jessica and it was AMAZING!!! She started off with a scalp analysis and it turns out that my scalp was actually a little oily (I always assumed that I had dry scalp). We then proceeded to a room where the treatment was done. I changed into a towel and sat in a massage chair. Jessica began the treatment with essential oils and a forehead massage. I was already beginning to fall into deep relaxation. She then began to wash/purify my scalp and help remove any excess buildup and oil. I was so relaxed at this moment, I actually dosed off. This treatment was around 45 min. I woke up to light rain noise (it was the water gently running through my hair). Jessica continued to rinse my hair and then started to do a blow out. In addition to the rejuvenation treatment, I added on a hair mask and light therapy to help with hair loss. This hair experience was exactly what I needed! I'm on the hunt for the best head spa in LA. And stumbled across this place. Decided to give it a shot and wow. The service here is so calming and relaxing. I got their rejuvenation head spa package and added on a gua sha facial as well as a red light therapy. This is the most relaxed I have been in a while. I've been suffering from migraines and headaches lately. I honestly didn't know what to expect but the head massage and gua sha was so nice. She got all of these points on my head that I didn't even know were sore and massaged them all out. She knew all the right places. She even knew I probably use a lot of my brain to think at work so she massed out all my stress points. I usually gua sha at home but this is actually professionally done. I could not replicate this at home because they are pros here. It would take me years and lessons to get to this level of massage. She washed my hair throughly and I don't even know what products they use but my hair smells SO good. She told me that some of their products are from Taiwan and I was like no wonder it smells SO good. At one point they used a waterfall on my head and it felt like it was stimulating and calming my scalp at the same time. She also use frequency tools, ultra sound massager, and blow dryed my hair out with a Dyson. The red light therapy was also very nice and calming. Sense spa def takes care of you. Theres no false advertising here. I felt what the package is called: rejuvenated. Sometimes you really just need a spa day and they take care of your hair and well being here. The products this spa uses are not healthy for our hair. While the lady was doing my scalp treatment, I noticed my hair was forming into a knot. I immediately told the lady that I could feel the knot, she assured me she was washing it out. After 45 minutes I started to question why it was taking long for the knot to come out... 3 lady's began working on my hair and none of them could untangle my hair. The knot became a big dreadlock, I started to cry and told them to stop! After all the back and forth with beauticians and hair stylist , I had no choice but to cut the knot out. There was NO salvaging my beautiful hair. The establishment would not accommodate my needs, and they did not care for what they did. I just came from there. I was worried it would not be worth the cost, but I was so pleased to be proven wrong. I enjoyed every minute. I'm one of those people who loves having my hair shampooed at the salon and have always thought it should be a service on its own. This is that but 10x better.
