This is my 2nd time eating here and both experiences have been great! Very fast and the food is mostly great! The salsa is ok, but way too thin on the consistency. Ask for the hotter sauce and mix it with the house salsa, and it's it's much better. Or just order the hot if you want to sweat a little. I ordered the "El Patron Special" which is tender pork tips, onions and peppers in a burrito, then topped with a white cheese sauce. There can't be anything on the menu that is as good as this was. I mean it was AMAZING!!! The rice, beans, and veggie sides are very basic and ok, really just a borderline bland filler for the rest of the meal. Having said that, the price is extremely reasonable, especially their lunch menu which is also very large! The bar looks great, and I wish I could come back after work hours, but it's just not in the cards. This place has overall been a great experience, but 5 stars would be too much. This restaurant has a few really good menu items. If you find yourself here I strongly recommend the beef chimichanga platter. The queso was also passable but the chile relleno was tough and chewy. The poor customer service is what seals the 1 star rating for me. I had an issue that the management team here has completely ignored. This little Small town restaurant is top notch. The carne Asada tacos and chips and queso are absolutely some of the best I have ever had. They are truly very friendly and I feel they care for their customers! Each time I go it never lets me down. read more

I'm not sure why places like this are still in business. This is very typical Mexican food in Oklahoma. You can find this anywhere. It's not fresh nor authentic. Living in New York my whole life must have spoiled me. I'm still looking for great Mexican food. Nothing would bring me back to this place. We came here a year ago and it was very good. We were excited to go back today-- the salsa was the worst salsa I've ever tasted. Which is weird because last time it was good. Senor Salsa used to have great food but within the last year their food has been horrible . The meat is very chewy and has a lot of grizzle and oddball things in their meat. The service is just ok it depends on the waiter that you get. Not a bad Mexican restaurant. It got pretty busy so our server was pretty busy considering he had a whole small room full of people. Had a margarita, which was pretty good and cheap. This was the first time here and the service was crap I orders a fried burrito with chicken and cheese only and I got a chimichanga with onions and bell peppers in it and the food was terrible! I went for lunch at 1:00pm on a Tuesday. The food was less than fair. My enchiladas appeared to have been microwaved. Chips and salsa were very good though. The service was horrible. Although the place was deserted we were left standing at the "wait to be seated" sign for a full five minutes. Same treatment upon leaving. We just stood at the register forever. I finally called attention to the guy who seated is and he reluctantly strolled over to take my money. I'll never be back and have shared my views with those I know.
