    Tacos and tamales #11

Went here after a trip to T-mobile and were in a bit of a hurry, but they weren't too busy when we arrived so we stayed. It seemed like there were only one or two people for waiting on tables during the lunch rush. We were greated by a very friendly woman who we had a short conversation with on the way to our table. This place made us feel like family. Shortly after we arrived it really became busy and it was as if we were forgotten. It took us 10 minutes after eating to receive our check while actively waving down the waitress. So, That being said, the food was worth it! We don't find a lot of restaurants in Lemoore that we would want to eat at, but the whole meal my husband was talking about coming back.

How on earth did this place get 4 stars? Must be for the service because it is not because of the food. Although the restaurant was very clean and the waitress were friendly the food is very disappointing and very pricey. This place doesn't give you quality or quantity, as these are what I look for when it come to being served food. I ordered the shredded beef taquitos rice and beans, my boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Our food literally came out 5 mins after we ordered which made me think was this already ready? That didn't matter though, my taquitos were small soft and full of fat and super greasy. The rice had no seasoning no flavor at all and the beans were just ok. In all my plate was bland lacking flavor and that comfort that Mexican food gives. I was very very disappointed. Now, my boyfriends plate was a joke. His patty was so over cooked it looked old, the bun was literally as thin as a corn tortilla. How could they be ok with serving that? What a rip off. Never again. You've been warned folks. There is nothing authentic about the Mexican dishes they serve don't be fooled by the other reviews. I took pictures to back up my review I hope I can post them.

It is rainy season so it is very muddy towards the entrance, so be careful when trying to make the drive onto the property. I ordered the asada fries minus cabbage and onion, while my order came out with cabbage the first time it was no fault of either of us because the Jets(bonus entertainment!) were flying overhead very loudly and I spoke as loud as I could. They kindly amended my order in no time and I set off. This is the second time I've ordered asada fries from them and both times it was absolutely delicious. The fries are thick and served hot, the asada was so delicious it was seasoned perfectly and definitely flavorful. The cheese sauce doesn't taste like your average nacho sauce, it is a little peppery(I don't want to say spicy) and I don't think it's made with jalapeño because that's one of my gripes with most nacho sauces. All topped with a drizzle of salsa and crema, with cilantro plus onion and cabbage. They definitely have generous servings. I'm extremely picky and this is one of my favorite dishes that I find is never made right, especially with the prepping of meat because I hate when I bite into chewy or hard to chew pieces so they definitely did a great job with their prep work! Overall, I thought this place was delicious, the service is great, the area could use work of the property owner could lay down gravel for the wet season(though I won't hold it against them because I did fine in my AWD) 10/10 recommend. My pictures are from my last visit right before they moved to the new location listed on this page. But the food, truck, and menu remain the same. I had dug into the fries before I took pictures because I was HUNGRY!!!

I'm glad we arrived before the lunch rush because it was nice and quiet until around noon. The real standout was the bean dip served hot with chile verde sauce. It was so good and definitely a must-try. Since we got there about half an hour early, we kept snacking on the chips and bean dip, and honestly, it was hard to stop. I ordered the lunch special with shredded beef flautas. For $11.99, it was a solid deal and pretty tasty. I can be a tough critic, especially when it comes to Mexican food, so that says a lot. I can see why this restaurant was voted one of the best Mexican restaurants in Kings County in 2025. It's definitely worth checking out. Service may not be the most enthusiastic, but the food more than made up for it. Overall, a delicious spot I'd come back to again.

We had fish tacos and shrimp enchiladas, both grilled (breaded is another option). Enchiladas are available either "Mexican style or regular," so I enjoyed one of each. All very good, including the accompanying rice and beans on our lunch specials. We had a side of bean dip with our tortilla chips, and it was so flavorful I was tempted to eat the whole cup as a soup. It reminded me of a thick tortilla soup. The lunch special is a great deal. Dinner prices are more typical, but some include a salad and tortillas. A worthwhile stop right off highway 198, between Lemoore and Hanford.
