Beware of this company as they have a policy that will bill you 2 weeks worth of senior care…read moreservices if not given a notice ahead of time. My mother with dementia ended up going to an emergency room, and then immediately to a memory care facility. Regardless of the fact that we did not see this coming, extended family home care continued to bill for 2 weeks worth of services which was about 1,200+ only because they were not notified of cancelling services. We had two other home care agencies providing services and neither one of them had this unethical billing policy. On top of that, some of the caregivers did not seem to provide quality care. And also had inconsistent caregiving services, with some cancelling last minute or did not even had the right skill level to care for my mother.

The young ladies were resourceful and engaged him in activities that stimulated his attention and thinking. One even made up a special game for him. If you could see the difference in his attitude when the girls worked with him and when a respite home cared for him, you would be amazed at what the one on one relationship can do. Home Instead is an Outstanding Personal Care Service and works diligently to match the clients needs with the services required. I highly recommend them as an alternative to Institutional Care Service. This organization provides a very needed service to the community as statistics show cases of "Dementia" continues to rise in our population. Thank you to Home Instead Senior Care. Rose Palmeri

The owners don't have to see the caregivers face they are just a number. So you can be the best caregiver in the world and they preach that's what they are about. But workers are a number not a human caring for people's last days. Don't be fooled and don't work there... instead work at Wendy's.. they pay more. And faith based ... that's comical. Workers are treated like trash not family.

Staff have no working phones on a regular basis ( due to not paying the phone bill), do not show up in time (4-5 hours late), leave cleaning supplies all over, will lock themselves in the bathroom for up to an hour "cleaning" and walk out with nothing cleaned. Threw away a working appliance without permission or any logical reason to do so. Staff were told that all the no call no shows of hours were causing a decline in health and remedy was needed and the reasons was "well we are not coming then today since you said that." They decided the appropriate remedy to neglect of an at risk adult is more neglect to tech a lesson to not speak up about neglect. They hired one administrative employee that was so verbally abusive witnesses filed a police report that person is no longer with the company but the issues are persisting. They freely celebrate neglect of clients by the staff they hire and if anyone says hey, we actually need to d are providers to show up, they they say they will cancel hours for mentioning no call no shows of schedule hours impact the people they are supposed to be caring for. One caregiver is so sloppy we came to our loved one's home with dirty dishes in the dish drainer with food all on them. Things were half done and we had to step in and clean up all the messes this person left. There is no management of this company. It's staffed by mean girls being mean and caregivers that do whatever the hell they what because no one is giving oversight. One time they sent many texted to our sick and disabled loved one arguing a week is 8 days long not 7 days long. No one understood the point. Poorly managed and operated company.

It's hard to describe the anxiety, overwhelm, sadness, and confusion that I experienced trying to do my best to care for his needs - and mine. I felt I was stretched beyond my ability to cope. I was extremely fortunate to have had Karen to guide and support me through situation after situation. She was not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable but was able to think clearly when I was not. I was so impressed with her demeanor - calm, caring and respectful. It is important to note that I never felt she was taking over. I experienced her as a partner who cared as much as I did about finding the best solutions. Her expertise was so impressive, knowing exactly what the next step should be and how I might best accomplish it. My whole experience was like a breath of much needed fresh air, giving me support, hope and the resources I needed to get through each challenge I was facing. I would not hesitate to entrust Colorado Elder Care with any one of my family members or friends. I have the utmost confidence that they would receive all that they need to facilitate the best outcome for all concerned.

My sister and I live out of state, over a thousand miles away, which made it very stressful managing his escalating needs. However, Colorado Eldercare Solutions found him a subsidized senior housing complex that was secure, located in a very walkable neighborhood of Englewood, and guided us in setting up support services for his medical and social needs. Simple things like a phone with larger buttons and easy to use message retrieval were helpful in ensuring we could communicate with our father. The medical box set up and monitoring system helped us manage his on-going and complex prescription needs. Additionally, she helped ensure he was getting proper nutrition and had a support system to check in on him to make sure he remained active and engaged in the community. I believe his quality of life was tremendously enhanced by the support and care they extended. And, I know it gave me greater piece of mind knowing that there was someone close who could make a visit to see how Dad was doing when we couldn't get in touch. I can recommend Colorado Elder Care solutions without any reservations.

She visited weekly and helped my mother adjust to the end of life. As her care became more involved Ann was there each step of the way supporting my mother and our family. I have never med someone who was so kind and understanding and competent. Finally My mother had to spend her final days in-patient at their facility. She raved over how quiet and beautiful it was. Again the staff was so very kind and supportive of both my mother and our family. The Chaplin was very helpful with family dynamics. Even the chief was wonderful, providing her with warm chocolate chip cookies which gave her much enjoyment in her final days. What a gift it was to have this organization available to care for my mother and our family at this hard time. As a retired nurse I am picky and could not fina any fault, just very competent care! I can not recommend this hospice more. 100/100.
