Metrocare Hawaii Plus on Oahu is the worst business with false promises and work ethics. The…read moremanager in charge does not communicate, promises services which can't be delivered, and will not take any responsibility for wrong services. They say that their providers are experienced but yet can't even do simple sheet change, transfers and other everyday duties. The scheduling changes with no advance notification. Many more issues and yet we are stuck because other business are the same. HELP!!!! The manager "Fe" need to be in bed with her staff taking care of her to know how bad they are. However the only golden egg they have but will be leaving the company is Christine Jury to further her education and life. If the CEO what his company stay a float replace Fe with Christine Jury.

For one they take clients and they don't have the workers to Care for them, (the workers say that…read morethe company never fires anyone so the workers take advantage of that and work when they want) so that tells me the company just wants the money from insurance. Two when I did get a care giver it was a different one every day and I had to explain and show them what to do which I may as well just do myself cause I'm doing it anyways. Three when you call to get answers they either don't answer, don't return calls, or when they do answer it's just excuses after excuses. I have even been told I'm not as critical as other patients so I gotta wait, who are they to make that diagnosis, I fell the other day with no one around, at the very time I should have had a caregiver. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone who wants quality care for your lovers one or yourself. They only care about the money.

A 23-year-old skateboarder boy who works for this care provider health service agency, calls in…read moresick only on federal holidays. First on Labor Day, then on Veterans Day--fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me--hence this glowing review ... LMAO! He calls the office on Veterans Day Nov. 11th of what sounds like Covid and was advised to be tested. Our Monday schedule of Nov. 14th was also a no-show, meanwhile, the office's futile attempts to cover our schedule were a no-go, as I was expecting a couple of weeks or more that he'll be out due to Covid. He appears at my home on our scheduled Thursday, Nov. 17th. I told him if he had Covid, whereto he stated that he didn't have Covid. I then asked him for his Vaccination Card proving he had tested negative, whereby I, and his other elderly and disabled clients who are physically and/or mentally challenged, and who are prone to deadly contagious diseases, can rest easy. He then admits to me that he didn't get tested. His reasoning was...WFI! I guess he felt cornered, for one who possesses a childlike mentality due to his lack of education (it's apparent), unable to do more than one thing at a time (or multitasking as HMSA had assessed in their interpretation of my filed grievance), constant memory inabilities that bear relentless repeats whereto he considers minor, but argumentative. STRESS! His phantasmal (unreal) reason for being a no-show on Friday's Veterans Day, 11/11/22, was that he didn't feel like working. Don't forget the following Monday too! Bear in mind, his other clients were also affected. In prior knowledge, he divulges his Fridays after me, of another client, and one more client after that. He also works with a client on weekends and then me on Monday afternoon since his morning client--in his words--"left for a better agency". LAME! Thursday completes our weekly schedule, with one other client after me. Tuesdays and Wednesdays he doesn't service me, and of his other clients on those days, if any, I remain clueless. This "kid" caregiver's smarts truly shine, OMG! A complimentary shoutout to all, that this company is indeed your typical WERNER!

, . It's bad…read more when Shauna (Dr.Russel) evaluates you & and says, " ' ." 6 years ago, I was BIPT patient for my left knee. At that time, I knew I would need help with what was going on in my right shoulder. My PCP offered me drugs rather than another PT referral. This began years of compensating while doctor hopping. I'm not afraid of work... I do fear taking more meds than absolutely necessary. I was determined to keep lifting though. That magnified my issue as compensation began affecting my left shoulder as well. I got used to painful numbness & having my shoulders pop out & reset. Being in pain became my normal state of being. Earlier this year, I finally found a PCP who listened when I asked for a referral during a routine check-up. I finally got the notice I had hoped for! The very next day, I was evaluated & given a treatment plan. After years of pain, I wanted to take an aggressive approach at shoulder rehab. In so choosing, I had to be diligent & consistent. That was my responsibility. BIPT was responsible for providing a solid treatment program, walking me through everything with optimal form. Some work was familiar, some work was new. None of it was easy. I had to humble down and work lighter weights. I eventually began to feel & see progress. One morning, I realized the numbness didn't hinder my sleep. Some days, I found increased ROM with my exercises . I'm so grateful to the entire staff at BIPT Consistent good vibes & encouragement from reception to discharge at every appointment. Everyone I worked with was professional, observant & patient with my limitations, encouraging me through sessions. The positive environment definitely encourages progress. After 9 weeks, I was discharged with huge improvements. I knew from my previous experience with BIPT that drugs would have simply been a bandage. Mahalo staff for helping my shoulders return to functionality!

I was not there to lift weights. Again, they had me lift weights more than 20% of my body weight resulting in my back going out. I was not there to lift weights. I am 73 with a scheduled surgery. Shauna just replied 5 months after the incident and said they could not contact me when I am available 24/7. IN FACT, Medicare's outside consultants tried for one month to contact BIG ISLAND THERAPY with NO RESPONSE. I am now with physical therapist facility who is sensitive to patients needs as individuals. Not like BIT.
