On moving day, only two movers arrived - despite my having a quote and timeframe planned for three. The first two got started, but it was obvious they were missing some muscle - as they used their black wheeled dolly on my interior carpeted stairs (which the sales rep later told me is not allowed.) Around 1pm, the third mover arrived. To be very clear, the movers themselves were friendly, polite, and respectful. I have no issues with those guys personally. I just don't think they were set up for success. The move ended up lasting DOUBLE the quotes time - until 1:30 in the morning. And by the time it was all said and done - my home and property had been damaged. Because the sale of my home was scheduled to close in two days - the damage had to be repaired, and quickly. Starting at 7am the following morning, I began attempting to make contact - with no response. I finally did get to speak to my sales rep, who promised to reach out to his GM and call me back in 30 minutes. I never heard from anyone. So today, in a race against the closing clock, we had to hire painters to come fix the walls and door jamb, and a carpet cleaner to get the wheel grease off the stairs. And I am stuck with a ripped and stained sofa. And still no acknowledgement or return call from anyone at College Hunks. So disappointing. TL;DR: They sent too few people, resulting in eight extra hours of moving time and damage to both my home and my property. They did not return multiple time sensitive messages asking for resolution. Way over time and budget - poor communication.

First they came with a very small truck for a two bedroom apartment. They had to leave half my things behind. I had to finish the move using my car which was very difficult as I am disabled. Then they stopped for an extended lunch break which made it very late in the day by the time everything was unloaded. When asked about returning for a second load the next day to finish the job, they said that would double the price. I ended up paying them more than was quoted even after they left half my things behind. They also just randomly packed things in large boxes marking them all miscellaneous. Don't use these guys, there are more honest and decent movers out there. You'll end up hiring these guys at your own risk.

Was told a two man crew to move my large but only 22 items would arrive at 10 am. The first of the two man crew arrived at 10:10 am. I had 6 moving blankets and mentioned needing those on a few very valuable items. I was looked at like a deer in headlights, he had no clue how to wrap a moving blanket around a piece of furniture. There was very little care for my items. I tried to offer to carry a 135 year old piece of furniture and not use a dolly, dolly was used. I'm no professional mover, but honestly felt like I hired someone off the street to lift a couple things. While I'm thankful that I "wasn't charged for the second guy" except the 30 minutes he was there, the rate was configured on a 2 man crew so I paid for myself to assist their guy, but was only charged an hour and a half time vs the 2 hour minimum. Overall, I've got some banged up pieces of furniture now. It's truly icing on the cake to the whole ordeal we've gone through with this house.
