They were fantastic and were willing to help in every way possible. They were quick and efficient and finished considerably under their estimate because of their efforts. Would highly recommend them.

Our move-in date was 5/31, so we had already adjusted plans and paid extra to move everything a day earlier. The day before the move, College HUNKS confirmed the appointment with my husband and told us we would receive a call between 12-2 PM when they were 30 minutes out. At 1:40 PM the day of the move, I called to confirm and was reassured the appointment was still in the system and happening, and that the movers would be calling us shortly. At 2:15 PM, my husband received a call from the manager stating they were canceling due to weather and "closing up shop for the day." This was after we had already been waiting through the scheduled window, with no prior notice or attempt to communicate earlier, despite weather conditions being forecast in advance. When my husband explained we could not delay the move until Monday due to lease constraints, we were essentially told there was nothing they could do. At that point, we were left stranded on moving day, having already moved multiple carloads ourselves and with no ability to physically complete the rest of the move without professional help. There was no meaningful effort to problem-solve or provide alternatives that aligned with our situation. The situation escalated further when I attempted to speak with management directly. I called the main number, which went to voicemail, and then called from my husband's phone, which turned out to be the manager Devin's direct work phone. The call began unprofessionally, and while I initially apologized for reaching him directly, I explained the situation in detail. Although there was acknowledgment of weather-related issues, there was no real solution offered beyond "trying Monday," which was not feasible for us. During the conversation, when I was visibly upset due to the stress of being left without movers on a critical moving day, the interaction became increasingly tense. The call ended abruptly after I expressed frustration with the situation as a whole, and I attempted to clarify afterward via text that my frustration was with the circumstances--not a personal attack--but I received no response. To make matters worse, I have also been trying to obtain a refund of my $99 deposit. I was told twice that a refund request would be submitted on my behalf, only to later find out that it had not actually been processed either time. Since then, I have been met with silence, repeated delays, and what feels like avoidance of calls and follow-up communication altogether. There has been no resolution, no confirmation of refund status, and no accountability regarding why the request was never submitted as stated. Overall, this has been an extremely unprofessional and stressful experience during what was already a high-pressure moving situation. Being left without movers on moving day and then having to repeatedly chase a basic refund that was promised but never processed is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

I just moved 2000 miles from the Midwest to Wilmington. Overall this was a good experience. Pros:…read moreOverall good value compared to other moving companies. My service was easy to schedule, pick up and drop off at my new home. You are able to track your belongings which I appreciate. The truck arrived within the time frame provided. Customer service was responsive to questions. It was easy to pay my bill with the link provided. Cons: Keep in mind you are shipping with a freight company. All boxes arrived dusty and three boxes were wet and the belongings inside were moldy. As long as you protect your clothing, linens, and pillows with some sort of protective barrier inside the box, you are good to go. I would also throw a tarp over the top if your boxes. I would carefully protect your electronics in the original boxes. Cover furniture with plastic wrap and moving blankets. Overall I would use this service again keeping the above tips in mind. Lastly carefully scout the drop off location. It was a tight fit and while my landlord OK'd the truck drop off, I did not appreciate how much space the truck and cab would take up.

The online quote is misleading at best and predatory at worst. It's not an estimate; it's a lie…read more The quote will be at least $1,000 less than the actual cost. When selecting the desired footage, do not select an even number. You are required to install a bulkhead, but the footholds for it are every two feet (5', 7', 9', etc.). If you set your quote at 8' and pack your belongings up to 8', you will have to install the bulkhead at the 9' mark and then be charged an extra $123. You can find a better company to accommodate your move, I promise you. The only reason people end up using U-Pack is because they lied about the quote. Whatever your quote is, add $1000 to it and expect it to be even higher than that at the end of the day. To say this company is dishonest and shady would be the understatement of the year. Shame on them, and shame on me for falling into their trap.
