We had a team of four young guys who were all respectful of us and our property. They took great care in packing up the truck with all of our boxes and furniture and they were quick, efficient, and careful. I would recommend Pepe's Hauling and Moving to anyone needing movers or someone to haul away junk. The owner of the company, Giuseppe, and all three of the guys with him for our move (Dawson, Blake, and Kenan) did a great job and we were very pleased with the service, and the way the job was quoted was straightforward and didn't include any hidden fees.

I really wanted to like this cleaning company, especially because they present themselves well with…read morebrochures, business cards, appointment confirmations, and text reminders. Unfortunately, the actual cleaning did not match the polished presentation. I hired this company for a deep clean, and the service did not match what was written in the contract. Several areas, like the laundry room, which were specifically included in the contract, were skipped entirely. When I asked them to come back to complete the work they had already been paid for, they told me it would be a "second phase" and would require additional payment. There was never an agreement about "phases", and it is not reasonable to charge extra for work that was already included in the original contract. They also skipped the copper sink completely. Their explanation was that there was a dish in the sink. We were home the entire time, and they could have simply asked us to move it. That alone demonstrates the level of effort and communication they were willing to put in. Cleaning products were used that were not appropriate for the materials in my home. Clorox wipes were used on surfaces that require specific cleaners, which explains why stains and buildup remained afterward. It felt rushed and not thoughtful. The team was friendly, but the quality of the work and the refusal to honor the original agreement were very disappointing. I paid for a deep clean, not a partial job with surprise "phases" added afterward. If you need a true deep clean or someone who understands how to care for different materials, this is not the company I would recommend. This experience taught me that a professional marketing appearance does not always equal professional results.

I was happy to have been given a strong recommendation for this company, and felt very comfortable…read moreafter my initial phone call and request for quote. What a bait and switch! On moving day, only two movers arrived - despite my having a quote and timeframe planned for three. The first two got started, but it was obvious they were missing some muscle - as they used their black wheeled dolly on my interior carpeted stairs (which the sales rep later told me is not allowed.) Around 1pm, the third mover arrived. To be very clear, the movers themselves were friendly, polite, and respectful. I have no issues with those guys personally. I just don't think they were set up for success. The move ended up lasting DOUBLE the quotes time - until 1:30 in the morning. And by the time it was all said and done - my home and property had been damaged. Because the sale of my home was scheduled to close in two days - the damage had to be repaired, and quickly. Starting at 7am the following morning, I began attempting to make contact - with no response. I finally did get to speak to my sales rep, who promised to reach out to his GM and call me back in 30 minutes. I never heard from anyone. So today, in a race against the closing clock, we had to hire painters to come fix the walls and door jamb, and a carpet cleaner to get the wheel grease off the stairs. And I am stuck with a ripped and stained sofa. And still no acknowledgement or return call from anyone at College Hunks. So disappointing. TL;DR: They sent too few people, resulting in eight extra hours of moving time and damage to both my home and my property. They did not return multiple time sensitive messages asking for resolution. Way over time and budget - poor communication.
