She then said she had some questions for me prior to booking: 1) "Is your injury due to a mobile vehicle accident and are lawyers involved?" and 2) "Is your injury due to a workplace accident?" I answered no to both questions, and she replied that they aren't actually booking new clients. Such is the state of healthcare in the US. I found another place who will actually to listen to you, instead of cutting you off, and actually wants to help you. Listening is everything. In a small community word of mouth gets around. Whoever answers your calls is heartless and shameful and they're giving your business a bad reputation.

Darlene was my therapist and she was amazing. I learned proper stretching techniques and much more. On the 4th appointment watching and coaching me, Darlene asked me to lie down on my stomach. Quickly, she determined I had sciatica, L4/L5. Exercises were focused on the area and improvement was made. Since the pain would not disappear, an MRI was ordered and it was determined I had herniated discs, L4/L5. I experienced a set back in week 5-6 due to added issues from both lifelong scoliosis and past injuries which complicated my condition somewhat.
