Where do I begin to express my GRATITUDE with Ocean Breeze Living. The owner/operator "Kelly" (…read moreAKA as an angel)...Let's just say she is a Gift from GOD. The Admin staff Michelle, Desi, and all the loving kind care takers Jen, Ferdi and others provide the TLC that I require and desire for my Mom. Kelly is a wonderful communicator always updating and informing me of any cocerns she has with my 89 year old Beautiful Mom. Mom has lived there for the past 2 wonderful years. Mom was recently hospitalized for 6 days and Kelly showed up at the hospital 2 days to support me and my mom through her recovery. Each resident is handled with specialty care that meets the residents needs, socialization is supported and encouraged, healthy home cooked meals are consumed around a dinner table and they have appropriate exercises for each residents ability. They celebrate birthdays and holidays that are fun. As a Daughter who is also a RN I can honestly say "Living at Ocean Breeze is the BEST gift I could ever give my mom!" When the ambulance transporters dropped my mom off yesterday after her hospital stay the men said " we've never seen a board and care facility like this" They also asked if they could make their own reservation to be a resident there 30 years down the road. That says it all..... May God continue to Bless Kelly and her AMAZING staff !!!

From the moment I walked in, the environment was welcoming and well cared for, which made a strong first impression. What stood out most was the sense of community. There were so many activities planned for residents, and it was clear that staff put real thought into keeping everyone engaged, connected, and supported. It didn't feel like a typical facility it felt like a place where people can genuinely feel comfortable, at home, and cared for. I want to shout out the administrator, Kelly, who clearly cares deeply about the well-being of both the residents and the staff. It was evident by the atmosphere in the facility.

When we found Raya's Paradise, for the first time since my mother's illness began, I felt that she was finally in a place where I no longer had to worry about her health and/or security. Thanks to the caring, attentive and professional caregivers at Raya's Paradise, my mother's physical health has stabilized. The caregivers ensure that my mother 's daily hygiene is taken care of properly and that her mediation is taken regularly and on time. And even though the Alzheimer's disease is progressing, the caregivers at Raya's Paradise continue to provide my mother, along with the other residents, with personalized care and supervised group activities which are both engaging and fun. These activities, which also help my mother with socialization, include singing with guest musicians, brain stimulation games, painting and physical exercise. Thus far, not one resident has gotten sick from the Covid virus. During the state-ordered quarantine, while the caregivers are continuing to provide the residents with kindness and care around the clock, the administrators of Raya's Paradise have now provided each of the Raya's Paradise facilities with a dedicated ipad to be used for facetime between the residents and their family members. Believe me, I feel much better now, knowing that I can still speak with and see my mother during these stressful times. The administration of Raya's Paradise is made up of respectful, sympathetic, courteous and well-educated people who continually strive to do their best to make sure that their residents have the best and most up-to-date care. In fact, of all of the facilities I've looked at, none have matched the ratio of residents to care-givers at each of the facilities (2 caregivers for every six residents). But perhaps most importantly is the fact that everyone at Raya's Paradise is dedicated to providing my mother, and all of the other residents, with the dignity and respect that they so well deserve, in a clean, safe and healthy living environment. Thank you, Raya's Paradise, for caring and for the great work that you do!!

Absolutely disappointing!!! I recently inquired information about this board and care for my mother…read moreand was let down. From what I could notice, this is team is extremely understaffed, I witnessed overwhelmed care staff. I've been trying to get in contact for further discussion with Brian Rosales and cannot get back in touch with him. I also met the nurse, Eric and he seemed not to care very much or even know much about the residents they have in their care. I asked him if he was the one to administer medication and who would be doing my mothers insulin in which he informed me care team as well as medication technicians were in charge of doing that, instead of licensed nurses such as hisself!!! I overheard a care member ask the nurse for help to adjust a resident on the sofa and he refused and told them to "wait for your co worker", this extremely upset me hearing the nurse on staff is not supportive of his team or residents. I also did my own research of this business and came to find out the COO Monica Westphaln is under investigation for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from residents , as well as emotional abusing them. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LOVED ONES!!!!

I felt very confident about the extraordinary care and doting that Alan received. Additionally, during holidays, birthdays, etc. the staff creates a lovely, warm and home-style atmosphere with decorations, music, foods, and love, to include patient family members, who were always greeted with respect, concern and support. I highly recommend, without reservation, this home for your loved-one's care.

Matthew and the rest of the Westchester took care of my mom with compassion, care, tolerance and second to none quality. Our family is forever grateful and they are extended family. There are so many wonderful people to mention but I can't recall every single name and there is no slight to names not mentioned. Ms Kendall was like my mom's sister and provided an unparalleled attention to my mother's needs. She operated in numerous capacities and even took over the activity center and was instrumental with intake and along with Matthew guided us every step of the way. Karla and Vangie came along later but were very responsive with any medicine or administrative concerns or needs. Enrique resolved any maintenance issues that needed attention and always did it with a smile. And Heather assisted my mom tremendously through day to day needs and was stern when my mom was being stubborn. There are so many other names but I am very thankful to still be in touch with my Westchester Villa family.
