And television is not the best company. I looked around and found a senior home with an aging population and a youthful spirit. Emerald Court has amazingly wonderful activities. When there's no holiday, they make up their own. The best holiday this year was senior prom. We all were transported to our high school days. We had a King and Queen of the Senior Prom. Besides the singing, swinging bands, we have on a Saturday or Sunday, every week on Thursdays we have Happy Hour. Holidays are another game changer. They dress up each holiday with decorations from ceiling to floor. We have a holiday party with a singing, swinging band, hors d'oeuvres and light drinks. I don't want to forget to tell you about the scheduled activities for every day of the week. When you wake up in the morning, you've got 12 or 13 activities listed on the daily activity board. We have activities from bingo to Wii Bowling Some activities are for active people and some activities are for people who sit in chairs. They don't leave anybody out.. We have two dining rooms and a bistro. . But most of all we have a dedicated staff. This place puts residents first. They take care of you with a smile and a caring heart. The front desk are helpful the chefs cook, lovely meals three times a day in three different restaurants. My mother has lived there for close to two years. She is 94 and assisted living, and I joined her for music classes, history classes, and all their holiday festivities around the calendar, which are absolutely amazing. Please come and check out Emerald Court. You won't be disappointed. I think you will love all of the residence and their families as well as everyone that will guide you through it all. I have provided cosmetology to 100's of board & cares in the Orange County & LA areas over the past 20 years and have never been to one quite like Orange Park it really doesn't feel like a board & care it feels more like my own home. Everyone is so nice and friendly the residents are always so happy. I feel like I'm at home when I go there. Everything is always so clean and tidy. Janet is such a kind a sweet lady who definitely cares about the residents and the home. I highly recommend this board & care for anyone who is seeking a loving place for there loved one to live. From…read morethe very first (long) phone call with Cammy, the Administrator, to the same day tour with Rochelle, the Assistant Administrator, we learned that Anaheim Crown Plaza was beyond EXCELLENT. The entire staff is the kindest, caring, and most compassionate people on earth. We found out that staff members were using their own money to provide little "treats" to our sister, Leslie. Every day, her caregiver would braid her hair and find ways to make her feel beautiful and special. Rochelle knows every resident and their family members' names by sight. Rochelle is always there to lend an ear, give lots of smiles and hugs to all. Leslie was transferred to ACP from a facility in Northern California. In the almost three years that Leslie was at ACP, Leslie benefited from a higher quality of life than Leslie had received in a very long time. The facility is spotless and odor-free. The rooms are spacious and the food is excellent. It is an Assisted Living Facility that provides outstanding medical case management, assisting to arrange all the medical appointments and following up that the medically ordered referrals are processed. This medical case management would be exhausting if the family members would have to do it themselves (and I am an RN). There were times when Leslie would refuse to eat or drink. We would often find Cammy sitting with Leslie and feeding her, or being the "cheerleader" for every bite or drink. (This is significant because at previous facilities Leslie had been hospitalized for severe dehydration and/or malnourishment.) Sadly, we write this review after we have said goodbye to Anaheim Crown Plaza. Leslie passed away this month. It was quite apparent to the hospital staff that Leslie was well cared for: her nails were done, her hair was clean and her skin was clear and smooth. Most importantly, Leslie knew that she was loved by her family and her entire extended family which was the staff at ACP. Do not hesitate to put a loved one at Anaheim Crown Plaza, it will be the best decision that you will make.

Everyone there, the front desk, the administration, the nurses, the housekeepers and everyone in between are professional, caring people who do their best to make life run smoothly. You won't find a better place! After 3 years in an WV apartment our Mom lived in Summer House for a year. It is, by far, the best memory care facility we have ever seen. Their care philosophy is patient centered, they hire good people and they will do everything they can to accommodate the needs of their residents.

The improvement in his quality of life is evident and we clearly see a positive outlook from him that was missing since our Mom passed away. I either end up feeling frustrated talking to the nurses or the other staff here. I'm calling in to ask simple questions that a nurse should be confident about in regards to his/her response (especially when it's about a patient of theirs that they are taking care of). I honestly hope that my mom has a speedy recovery and that the PCP will hurry it up and make a discharge plan for my mom already so that we can get her out of this terrible facility.
