This experience raised serious concerns about staff culture, leadership, and how issues are handled internally. Room options include singles (I chose one at ~320 sq ft--plenty for her full bed, sofa, dining table, TV, chair, and beloved upright piano) or shared doubles with private baths. This is my mom's third facility--I've seen "excellence" promised in high-end assisted living in Bend, OR, and a seemingly solid spot in Fullerton, CA, only to watch care erode over time. CEO Rob Goerzen and floor staff respond promptly to my concerns, brainstorming creative fixes like visual aids and bilingual cues for Mom's language needs.
