William took the time to address all my questions and concerns thoughtfully, both in person and later during a conference call and follow-up tour with my siblings. We knew immediately that Forever Young was the best memory care home for our dad, and we added our name to the waitlist. As dad's disease progressed rapidly, we toured other residential and larger memory care facilities. Each visit only reaffirmed our decision to wait for Forever Young. During this period, William also provided valuable recommendations for equipment to help dad stay safe while he remained at home. Now, eight months into dad's residency at Forever Young our gratitude for William and his caregiving team has only deepened. My family and I were desperate to find adequate care for my Dad who ailed from brain cancer amongst may other chronic conditions. We were finding extreme challenge with his then current living situation when we came across William and his team at Forever Young. William is a dedicated, compassionate, and committed owner and facilitator - so much so that he answered my initial call at 6:30AM. From that moment forward he proved to be accountable and above all, humble and human. He genuinely listened and was authentic in his position. He has the highest standards for himself and his team. As most people know, finding and determining the best care for one's parent struggling with dementia or Alzheimer's can be one of the most mentally, emotionally and at times physically demanding processes one has to endure....but we do it. We do it out of love, respect, obligation to our parents and loved ones. It has been 2 years since I happened one Sunday afternoon to come across a listing for Forever Young Memory Care. In the midst of our family struggling with not only the daily care & concerns for our mom, we were also dealing with finding a replacement facility that met the needs of our mom. William took my call on a Sunday afternoon, and spent almost 3 hours getting to know not only about our mom, but the entire situation our family was dealing with. William made time the following day to meet in person, gave me a tour and we sat down and he really tried to assist. He made it clear based on the circumstances that night, it was something he could not promise on being an absolute solution. However, William and the staff at FYMC made our moms transition to FYMC so smooth and have continued to deliver for two years in the care for our mom, but also deliver in making us as a family 100% included and a part of the entire process and care. Set in a very nice neighborhood, the home itself is maintained with well manicured yards. Always clean and tidy inside and lot of light giving off a very warm & positive vibe. I cannot express the amount of gratitude towards William and his entire staff. I know our mom is in a good place. I mention the staff not by individual name, because they all perform as a team and do an extraordinary job at caring for all the residents. They have made our mom a special part of their home and it has been clear over the course of her health decline that the entire staff brings a smile to her face. She is happy which is exactly what we wanted to see in our mom in a place that looks out for her best daily care. I first contacted William Young two years ago when my 79 year old mother was experiencing memory loss. He spent a lot of time educating me about dementia and living options. It was clear how passionate he is about this subject. He said my mom wasn't ready for his house, but gave me a lot of tips on how to choose an assisted living facility. We kept in touch and he was always willing to answer questions and help guide me through this world that was so foreign to me. I really appreciated the time he spent with me, particularly since he asked for nothing in return and didn't try to push me towards a certain facility. In September of 2018, it became clear my mom needed more care than was being provided. I called Wiliam and decided to move her to Forever Young. She was adamant that she didn't want to move, so William came up with a plan to make the move as stress-free as possible for mom and me (since I was so anxious about going against my mom's wishes). He visited with her, hosted us on a visit to Forever Young, and called me daily to make sure I was okay. He truly went above and beyond and I'm extremely grateful. After only 3 days at Forever Young, my mom said she never wanted to leave. I was amazed! The house is beautiful and the backyard is so serene. The caregivers are wonderful, caring people who seem to truly bond with the residents. They often send me pictures and videos of my mom so I can see how she's doing. After watching my mom at two different assisted living communities, I believe we've now found her "Forever Home" at Forever Young. I can't recommend William and this house highly enough. read more

Although I don't have personal experience as a resident or family member of a resident, William graciously allowed our Daisy Girl Scout troop to use his home to host our troop meetings in the ice cream parlour room. He is just an all-around amazing guy that truly cares about people and is passionate about his work. Having spent some time at the home, I was able to experience how the residents are cared for - with kindness, respect, and dignity. There were always at least 2+ caregivers present for a handful of residents and they constantly worked to engage these senior citizens. They had all the appropriate safety measures equipped in their home to keep their residents (and our girl scout members) safe! As I see my own parents beginning to age, I am hopeful that homes like Forever Young exist for our aging community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again William! My sister and I moved our dad into the Forever Young Memory Care home in August. We had talked to William Young several times before that and were super impressed by his passion for and commitment to caring for the elderly. Forever Young is an extremely well-managed home with a caring staff that has a lot of patience and kindness. Our mother has been there for four months, arriving shortly before the quarantine. It was such a relief to find a home with a well-trained staff, excellent management and deep understanding of how both patients and families are affected. One of the most significant advantages is that doctors visit weekly (or face time during the pandemic) and arrange for extra care as needed on site (podiatrist, etc.) The doctors are responsive to the families and medications are delivered as needed. My mom lived at Forever Young Memory Care for 7 months before her passing this year. Our experience here was so far beyond anything we were hoping for, on every level. The owner William Young is a compassionate expert in the field and he sets the highest level of care standards in the industry. The caregivers are not only very experienced at caring for residents with dementia, but the level of love and dignity they provide to the residents is unsurpassed. They make the home feel like everyone's home, and are so welcoming to family members and supportive of the individual needs and interests of each resident. We were able to decorate mom's room, have her dog, plant a garden, do crafts, celebrate her birthday and mom was made to feel so loved and wanted there. Every care need was met and communication with family on any and every item of note was made without delay. William always makes himself available and so kind to answer messages right away, in addition to offering advice on any range of questions relating to mom's care. The house is spotless and such a warm and welcoming environment. Even though my mom has passed away, William and the staff still feel like my family since they loved my mom. After visiting many care options for my father in law who suffered from Alzheimer's, I can assure you this home is unlike any others. Here are a few things that stand out: 1. Residents have purpose: whether it be gardening, "shopping" at the country store or visiting the Ice Cream Parlor, the residents have fun things to do. Television is not a default activity as residents are encouraged to engage in activities. 2. Beautifully designed home: Clean, cozy and full of light....hallways are large, accessible bathrooms, several sitting areas for family to visit and a huge bird aviary that's theraputic to listen to. 3. I had the opportunity to visit Forever Young recently and Wow! I am so excited our community has a new residential care option for folks with Alzheimer's and dementia. Several years ago my husband and I were looking for a residential care home for my mother in law. If only Forever Young Memory Care had been available then! The home is inviting from the street, with bright cheery flowers and a well-cared-for front yard. Upon entering the home, I couldn't help but notice the lovely bird atrium in the front living room. I enjoyed watching the birds and all of their activity, and I can imagine the residents will enjoy them as well. The inside living areas are well appointed and comfortable. The back yard is amazing.... a gazebo with a lovely sitting area; beautiful, established trees; a fountain; a hummingbird sanctuary; a gardening area; and a wonderful patio area. A walking path takes you to all these areas in the backyard. In addition, there is a small "general store" residents can visit AND there is an ice cream parlor. So much attention to detail has been given to the design of this home! It is easy to see the focus of Forever Young Memory Care is to provide outstanding care and to engage residents. read more

I am about to start my nursing program at UCLA and I want to thank Forever Young for my year of volunteering experience that has allowed me to better understand how to engage and care for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's. I have volunteered at a few memory care communities near by, the others both being larger facilities. Forever Young is different! The personal engagement, energy, and quality of caregivers is a level above the rest. All of the residents are well put together and I see the caregivers treating them like they are their family. Each time I visit I learn more about the residents. I love to play my viola for them, play games with them, or just listen to their stories. I would volunteer more if I could, but there seems to be more youth that want to volunteer and William schedules the volunteers so everyone has a chance to visit and enjoy the residents and the experience the environment. Speaking of the environment the backyard, which is more of a park, is the coolest thing I have ever seen. You will always see residents outside when the weather is nice as Forever Young and the caregivers believe that being outdoors and feeling the warm sun on your skin and breaking the fresh air improves the quality and mental health of the residents. I visited Forever Young Memory care for a service project and found only amazing things. Owner and founder, William Young, has done a great job making a hard situation a lot easier. His home for elderly with Alzheimers allows residents to feel at home while being cared for 24/7. He really goes above and beyond to make sure the residents and their families are comfortable with the living situation. He has a group of about 10 staff members that rotate schedules throughout the week that are all trained well and overall great people.
