I lucked out with Reliable Movers - not only were they responsive and willing to book me from out of state for a move-in to a place with multiple sets of stairs, when they arrived they were helpful, friendly, and even prevented some damage that would have been done because of the way my outgoing movers packed my truck. They took great care with all of my items, got everything to exactly where I asked it to be placed even though I was stuck outside with the truck providing information, and got it all done in record time. The crew that showed up on move-in day were about twenty minutes early, after checking in with me via phone and text. Everyone was helpful and courteous. This was an excellent moving experience and I will be hanging on to Reliable's contact information for my eventual move to another location. The price for unloading into my new home was great, especially given the stairs involved. No one likes to make furniture go up narrow stairs - Reliable's crew made it happen quickly with a clearly practiced pace.

We also had a good experience working with Chris, who conducted a tour of our home and worked hard to find an option that would work within our budget and timeframe. Rude, mean, unorganized and would never recommend to my worst enemy. I have had 15 movers move me, and this company was so horrible - such a stressful move and terrible people to work with. Every piece of furniture, (including family heirlooms), arrived heavily damaged. Deep gouges, broken legs, and scratched surfaces that were not there prior to the move. Items were poorly wrapped (if at all), and it showed. What's worse is the complete refusal to take accountability. After documenting the damage and reaching out, we were met with dismissive responses, delays, and ultimately no resolution. They wanted us to provide them with product #'s for each piece of furniture, several pieces don't have product #'s as they are antiques and have been in our family for generations. No meaningful claims process, no effort to make it right, just deflection and ridiculous requests for product #'s that don't even exist. Moving is already stressful. Hiring professionals is supposed to reduce that, not make it worse. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your belongings and expect basic professionalism and accountability.

They called me back immediately after I sent a request for an estimate. These guys are very personable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were very patient and understand my stress moving to a new city. After setting a date and time, they called a couple of times to re-confirm and always kept in contact with me. Although they arrived late due to the truck not being available on time (and because they are coming from Buffalo), they called me to let me know their ETA. They treated my belongings as their own. Jade was so kind to double wrap my medical degree when he realized that it did not have enough protection before placing in the truck. Scott and Jade work very well together and did an efficient and speedy job getting my two bedroom worth of belongings into the truck. They then drove to Pittsburgh same day and unpacked my things into the rooms designated. They had a grueling day which did not finish until 9 pm in Pittsburgh but they were professional and always had a positive attitude. I very much enjoyed having them moving my belongings, and I am very pleased with their work. I have endorsed them to other colleagues of mine who are looking for movers, and one of them hired Scott and Jade for later in the week.
