My first experience with them was after having trouble with one of my headlights. The repair guy was just going to charge me for the bulb, but I insisted on paying them for the service despite how brief it was. The most recent issue I had was with a break-in, in which my passenger-side window was shattered & my GPS stolen among other things. Even though I'm in Queens now - I drove over to Manabi, with glass everywhere & an open window (in the rain). Not only was the repair well done, ready when promised & reasonably priced, but Carlos (the owner) actually gave me lift to the train so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain when I dropped my car off. I found Samy's auto repair on a Saturday morning while I was searching for a place to inspect the vehicle. I couldn't find any yelp reviews on this place and I took a chance. The gentlemen took me in right way. I also asked them to check my wheels because my Jeep made a clicking sound when turning the wheel. In the end I had 2 back brakes replaced, the CV replaced and a completed inspection. We no longer hear the annoying clicking sound and I notice my brakes feel much better and I have my new inspection stickers!! All this was completed by 11am and that made me happy :). I just hope they remain consistent and offer the best prices.

The pads they replaced DID NOT need to be replaced. The old pads were still almost new and I have the old pads to prove it. I did not instruct them to change any brake pads. I asked them to see why the brakes felt spongy and soft when applied. The Owner of this repair shop Dudley, completely disregarded the original problem and just slapped on the new brake pads and charged me. Now the brakes still have the original problem with a constant squealing now when the brakes are applied. When I questioned him he became defensive and basically did not want to deal with my car unless I spent more money to now replace all the brake rotors which is ridiculous. They now have created an added problem with this car. If he could not solve the original problem, all he had to do was call me and keep informed of the situation, not just go ahead on their own to charge me to replace something which they had no business replacing

I explained to Steve my situation and they took the time to carefully diagnose the issue. The mechanic working on my car showed me exactly what was wrong and showed me what exactly he was doing to get the job done. He explained to me what the parts were and how they worked on the vehicle. I don't know, maybe I've had poor customer service in the past, but having a mechanic show you what's wrong right there on your vehicle is excellent service. Its transparency with these sort of things that go a long way with keeping clientele. I reccomend these guys if you're local in the area.

I called north side tire shop because I saw that they offered roadside service, they were very helpful and patient with me in determining h a great price for a roadside tire change. Today I noticed an odd sound under my hood. It was a Saturday morning. Fortunately I was nearby. I stopped in. The mechanic quickly heard the sound and diagnosed the problem as the alternator. They had the part in no time. I had them replace the wipers too. So glad I did. The new blades are Premiem Quality. In and out in about 90 minutes for a significant repair on a Saturday!
