Oxford Creamery, right off the Square, might be the absolute best spot in Oxford for an…read moreafter-dinner treat. Do you like Girl Scout cookies? They have Samoas ice cream. Yes. Samoas ice cream. Just like the cookie, except without the random guilt trip from a little kid outside Walmart giving you the hard sell while you're trying to buy meal-prep chicken for the week. And yes, I realize I just compared buying ice cream to avoiding Girl Scouts. Stay focused. The ice cream here is just ridiculously good. Great flavors, great texture, and exactly what you want after dinner, before dinner, or honestly whenever you happen to be walking around the Square and decide calories don't count in Oxford. The Samoas flavor is the standout for me, but this is one of those places where you could probably order almost anything and be happy. Oxford has plenty of great places to eat, but every trip here should either start or end at Oxford Creamery. Preferably both.

The Oxford creamery is a quaint little spot that has an old school southern vibe. We saw My Big Fat Greek wedding as a menu item so we obviously had to go with a large order of that in a waffle cone bowl. My big fat Greek wedding was absolutely decadent and delicious. This item is an absolute must try, with pistachio and baklava and honey and vanilla ice cream, this treat is a 10/10. The Oxford creamery knocks it out of the park with this desert. An absolute delicious treat. Truly magnificent. Stop in to see the friendly staff and tray a tasty treat while you're there.

Well I won't be coming back! Horrible horrible customer service!

As other reviews mentioned, this place is unique, the owner is very friendly, but the wait is very long. We waited close to two hours despite only a handful of parties in front of us. The owner gave my friend a free bagel for her birthday and chit-chatted with us as he was preparing our orders. Although tasty, the wait was not worth it-- I would recommend going earlier or when you don't have plans later!

This is a review about an Angel. A real life one in Oxford, Mississippi…read more Tucked behind a small shopping center, you'll find an empty bus and The Luv Shak. You might not see an open sign lit but it's open between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Before you drive out, if you want to be sure they are open you'll need to look on IG for the post from Dennis, aka the owner, an Angel. As I drove up, I was thinking how in the world can they survive with limited hours and limited days. Then I went in, saw a group of Ole Miss kids waiting for their order, one playing pin ball - for free because the machine doesn't take quarters. For you younger people reading, we used to need quarters if we wanted any type of fun. I order from Dennis as he multi-tasked being the Chef, the host, and the cashier. I notice how inexpensive the food is. It looks expensive! Ambiance is quaint, unique and a staple of the Ole Miss area. Service is great considering Dennis does it all. Do not come here hangry - save your tude for another place. Come with patience and kindness, it's The LUV Shak! If you don't know now you know, Dennis probably doesn't make much selling his food, he's doing it for love. He's admirable. $10 for his dishes and if you get one, he's under selling his food. After speaking to him, he makes food for people in the area and he doesn't raise his prices so they can eat his good food, told ya, he's an Angel. Let's get into it! Baked Cheese Stuff Shells - Whooooooooooooo weeeeee! YOU MUST come and TRY! Home made Italian! I love! Come see a little heaven on earth, come meet Dennis and come fill your belly with love. Thank me later! A must try in Oxford!
