But I needed whole new gutters and getting something designed not to clog seemed like a better idea than adding screens to something not really designed for it. At least that was my thinking. This vendor and another vendor have somewhat similar designs and I'm sure both companies do a good job. Since I'm not an engineer I can't really say which of the two designs is better but I think they probably both work fine. I happened to pick GutterMaxx and am very happy. The product wasn't cheap. But, I think it is a case of getting what you pay for. They had an 18-month zero-interest option so I went for that. The installation was fast. In fact, I was afraid too fast, could they do a good job in just a couple of hours? My house is relatively complex two-story with odd segmentation. So it was a total of 9 gutter segments. Could they install all that in just a few hours correctly? Yeah, they seem to have indeed done so. They have a lot of colors to choose from. Not just white/black/brown like you see at the average home improvement store. They had a very close match to my house and it's a perfect match.
