I paid by Zelle through our bank and received confirmation texts from the bank that the transfer had been sent. Within three minutes of completing the transaction I received a phone call from someone at the moving company. From the first moment the tone was aggressive and accusatory. He insisted the payment had not come through and said I would need to provide a debit card instead. I explained that the money had already left our account and sent the bank confirmation texts, including the initial authorization prompt. He then told me that the bank does not send texts. He continued in the same manner. I provided a reference number. He still continued. Only after I sent a screenshot from the bank app showing the funds had been withdrawn and the payment was processing did he calm down. I understand a small business needs to confirm that payment has cleared. The immediate assumption of bad faith and the persistently rude manner, even after multiple forms of proof were provided, were unnecessary and unprofessional. The moving work was acceptable. The handling of this follow-up call was not.

I know the furniture was heavy and not easy to transport upstairs, but I saw them make simple, careless mistakes like lay a mirror, with sharp metal brackets on the back, bracket side down on an end table. The end table had a few scratches already, but nothing like what they ended up with after the move. It would of been a lot easier for them if the had taken the drawers out, and been supplied with the right equipment from the company. When I booked the move, the guy on the phone was not upfront with all the extra fees and charges. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Then, after I had paid for the agreed amount of work, the driver slipped in an extra $180.xx charge. I was refunded that charge and the guy was reprimanded. Just be sure to check. He was also the same guy who drove over my rock wall, knocking it down, after I specifically warned him not to.

I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage of Knoxville for a short local move on September 23, 2026, and…read moreI regret it. The crew was polite but slow, and from what I saw they were not qualified to move a piano. They told us they put our upright piano on a dolly without straps. It arrived with the entire pedal assembly broken off, and it's a total loss. A desk was also snapped in half. Instead of making it right, they sent a $325 "Release and Settlement Agreement" that said I'd "keep the terms... confidential" and "not write negative or disparaging statements regarding services performed." They tried to pay for our silence. I didn't sign. I would rather lose $325 than stay silent, so here's my honest review. If you own anything valuable, especially a piano, look elsewhere.

Dalton, Terrell, Liston and Gage did an excellent and careful job of loading and unloading everything for our 3 bedroom house. They took direction for placement of the stuff with a smile and were very courteous throughout the day. Thank you! And, if we should ever find ourselves in need again, Big Orange Moving would definitely get the call. We will not hesitate to recommend Big Orange Moving to our friends.

Big Orange had great rates and explained that if we hired a 3rd mover it would reduce our costs in the long run. Ken was very respectful and I appreciate him explaining the cost savings. HIRE THIS COMPANY!!…read more  I used Yelp to get a bid on a local moving job for the Knoxville area. We wanted it done ASAP. It went out to about five moving companies (this was on Saturday)  Within 10 minutes Ky from Bellhop at the Chattanooga office called me. Bellhop was the first to respond. Ky was so nice and extremely courteous. He helped us figure out what we needed. The price he quoted was a good fair price. Because of Ky we immediately felt confident and agreed to hire Bellhop. We received a confirmation for the job on the same day. Next day (Sunday) we got a notification with the pictures of our movers who were Alec and Austin. Alec also texted us to confirm the time etc. Alec and Austin arrived on Monday at our storage unit ON TIME and ready to work. They loaded the truck and we drove to our apartment. Let me tell you Alec and Austin were incredible. They worked their butts off NON STOP. We are on the third floor with TWO SETS OF STAIRS. They brought everything up with a smile and always asked us where we wanted things placed. We saw Alec carrying two very heavy large boxes at a time (like they were empty!) Me and my husband were shocked and impressed with the strength and stamina Alec and Austin had. And they did it in such an upbeat courteous friendly manner. They were fast too.  Nothing was damaged either no walls touched, no floors scratched. PERFECT! They were able to get heavy items up the stairs we thought we were going to have to leave behind and they were so nice about doing it! They made an incredibly stressful move stressless for us!  We are 100% happy with Bellhop and will definitely use them again. Ask for the team Alec and Austin. You won't be disappointed!

Do not use Bellhop if you care about your belongings, because they certainly don't!…read more Using this service is like playing russian roulette with your moving team. The team I received was untrained, unprofessional, disrespectful of my possessions, stole an item, tried to get in a fight with one of my buildings maintenance workers and cost me thousands of dollars beyond the thousands I was paying for the move. Some people may get lucky and have a good experience. I did not. It took weeks to get a canned response to my damage claims with the end result being $0.60/pound on damaged items. What that means is a $400 payment on over $4K in damages. And the $100 item that was stolen (not damaged)... $2.00 reimbursement! Even when speaking to the moving company that was contracted, they admitted to every shortcoming, fired the employees that were involved, and stated I shouldn't be charged for this move. Going back to Bellhop, I received very little support and even less compensation. I'm sure they will say "this is a rare occurrence" and "they're sorry for the inconvenience," but this was more of a violation than an inconvenience with Bellhop being the only ones walking away happy. Don't risk it. Hire someone who cares, will stand behind their brand, and will probably even be cheaper. DON'T USE BELLHOP.
