For the second time in 2-1/2 years, we called on Big Orange Moving to handle all our household belongings. This time we had them load out of our longterm storage in Knoxville and into our newly completed home in Bean Station, TN. It was a long day with two trucks and four guys required for the move. Approximately 8-1/2 hours following the truck arrivals at Central Karns Storage, they pulled out of our driveway empty and exhausted. Dalton, Terrell, Liston and Gage did an excellent and careful job of loading and unloading everything for our 3 bedroom house. They took direction for placement of the stuff with a smile and were very courteous throughout the day. Thank you! And, if we should ever find ourselves in need again, Big Orange Moving would definitely get the call. We will not hesitate to recommend Big Orange Moving to our friends. read more

We hired Big Orange Moving to move our belongings from 2 pods which were delivered into a storage unit we rented. They were prompt, extremely courteous and very quick yet efficient. Our guys- Reese, AJ and David were awesome the entire time. We can't say enough about how great they were. When I first put in the request for the job, Ken responded quickly, but so did the other companies. Big Orange had great rates and explained that if we hired a 3rd mover it would reduce our costs in the long run. Ken was very respectful and I appreciate him explaining the cost savings. My husband and I highly recommend this company. We will be hiring them again once our house is built and we move these same belongings to our new home. read more

We just used Big Orange Moving Tennessee for a local move. I was impressed by Iain and David. They busted their derriere's in loading the truck and unloading at the new place. It took less time, billed to the minute, than I expected. I do recommend them for moving. read more

do not use big orange movers they will damage your furniture they claim to have insurance but when you try to talk to them about what they've done to your furniture, they ignore your phone calls!!!! i've called I know at least 15 times just to get voicemails. I've left message after message after message no response if you hire professional movers, you expect a certain professionalism I could have moved the furniture myself and damaged it the way professional movers have damaged it $2700 for the move and I get damaged furniture. I would give them a zero if I could read more

Iain and Michael were wonderful. They did not waste time and did not stop. Very nice and professional. Using them again in two weeks.

Okay, here's the update to my original review: A day after posting the review below, Kenneth from Big Orange Moving called to let me know his "guy" who could help me move the final piece would be calling me to arrange a day to move the final item. Jesus called the next day and we arranged a meet at my storage facility. Five minutes after Jesus and his helper parked the container was loaded into his liftgate trailer, strapped down as we both left for my condo and delivery of my container. Fifteen minutes after arrival, it was installed and Jesus was on his way. SUCCESS!!! & 5 STARS for the experience!!! read more

My move went waaaay over schedule due to issues we personally had with our new house- and these guys were CHAMPS. They went above and beyond without a cross word. We had three young guys come out and they were incredibly polite, professional and responsible. I'll use them in the future and recommend them to others! read more

I called on Big Orange Moving to help us with our bigger, heavier furniture (beds, sofas, tables, etc.) in moving from Madisonville, TN to Tellico Village. Adam and Reese were great! They worked extremely hard on a hot, hot day (97 degrees, 104+ real feel temp), and never complained. They took sufficient breaks to keep themselves healthy during the move, then deducted all their breaktimes from the hourly total, which I thought was extremely fair but unnecessary. They put additional wraps around most items to ensure everything was well protected, and were extremely careful as they brought things into the house onto multiple levels. Very conscientious crew that gave it 110% the whole day. I won't hesitate to call them again ! read more

The 2 young men who moved my daughter into her new apartment we so polite, helpful and very professional. Too extra care to not damage anything and to make sure everything was put where we wanted it to go. I would highly recommend them and would use them again. read more

Had Tim, Armando and Jay today for a partial move to our new home. VERY satisfied with their service...we moved items that were not easily moved, and had no issues. Will request this crew for part two of our move. Highly recommend this company read more

The only reason they got two stars was because the two kids that came to move all our stuff were friendly and what happened was not their fault. They were moving our wash machine from three floors up just carrying it themselves. They did not have the moving straps that I always see the movers use for large items. Our wash machine was bounced down every single step on a dolly. They took an hour lunch break in the middle of the move that I was not aware they were going to do. We only moved five minutes down the street. When I called about the final price, the guy in the office was very rude. I would use another company if you don't want your items banged around and broken. read more

I hope it was a fluke but I wasn't impressed by Big Orange. Three guys in their early 20s to move a four bedroom house from two 26ft trucks into two storage units. It took the guys longer to unload the trucks than it did to pack and wrap the furniture and boxes from my house. Lots of smoking and vaping breaks. read more

We used big orange moving for my mother in law relocation. These guys were great! Very affordable! AJ and Mike were very polite, careful with the furniture and patient when we weren't sure where to put the furniture. I highly recommend these guys, you won't be disappointed. read more

Iain and Michael were amazing today!!! If you want a great moving company this is the one. We used them back in April and Michael and David were awesome. I felt so comfortable with them that when the time came to move into our new home I would not use anyone else. I requested our same team and my needs were met today!!! These guys worked their tails off. There was no slacking and the job was done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Big Orange!! But more than anything I appreciate how respectful they were of our things!!! read more

I just needed two people to move 4 pieces from the 2nd floor to the first. They still wanted to truck fee.

Reese and Logan were amazing! They helped us out on their off-day on really short notice--our movers had canceled on us twice before we contacted Big Orange so we were desperate and in total panic. Now I said this, hope others don't make them work on their off-days like we did (please contact BOM on their regular business days! LOL). Reese and Logan came on time and placed our items in a U-Haul truck in a very efficient way (our movers in another state were so impressed when they saw how BOM loaded the 10' truck!). Rates were totally fair too. Thanks so much for relieving our headaches on a moving day. We strongly recommend BOM for their work ethics and professional, friendly services! read more

These folks did a great job over a two day move from west Knoxville to strawberry plains area. We recommend and would use again

I spoke with Ben on the phone to set up the details of the move. He was attentive, courteous and upfront with all costs and fees. The crew came when they said they would. They were careful with our items. They worked hard and did not complain. Reese and Liston were the other team members that came out to tackle the move. I have moved several times in the Knoxville area, and I will definitely use this company again, if I need movers. All of all - fair price, great crew, responsive management : two big thumbs up! read more

Professional and very nice. Talked to Ben and he quoted me right on the phone so I scheduled service with him. They showed up on time and we're polite, professional and very helpful. read more

AJ & Logan were Terrific! They called saying they were a little early. They were respectful gentlemen & were careful with all the items. They both worked quickly and efficiently! They unloaded the U-Haul in 1hr 27minutes! They placed all items in the rooms we wanted. I absolutely would recommend them. read more

First, the two young men that moved our items were incredibly hard working and friendly. However, we have several pieces of furniture that have missing pieces of wood, damaged due to moving. The worst was our dryer which ended up with the screen for settings scratched up. It's a shame because the 2 guys worked hard, but now have damaged items that should never have happened. We would recommend only if they were move careful with furniture.. read more

I cannot say enough about the Big Orange Moving team of AJ, Landon, Mikey, and Jake. Courteous, mannerly, eager to accommodating, and professional are just a few words that would describe our experience with Big Orange Moving and this particular team of young men who helped us. This move was a downsizing process for us and they were happy to deliver to both our new smaller home as well as a storage unit. Our current and new home is temporary... So I will definitely use Big Orange Moving again when the next move takes place. And...I hope this same team will be available! Thanks so much! read more

Ask for Michael and Justin--the dream team!!! They were absolutely amazing, hands down the best movers I've ever hired. Extremely hard working (they RAN up and down the stairs!) and so very courteous and polite. They treated my furniture with kid gloves and made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Michael and Justin went above and beyond. The price was reasonable and I couldn't be more pleased with Big Orange Moving !!! read more

What a great experience! Four men showed up ready to work. They worked fast and hard. Over the course of the day, they packed up our home and moved us to a new location. You would think that as the day went on that the speed at which they worked would wane, but no! I got the impression that our furniture was gently handled as if it belonged to their beloved grandmother's. Also, these were the most polite and eager to please men. Every thing was "Yes, sir. Yes ma'am" and never complained. I would definitely recommend this company! Big thanks to the two Michaels (Michael squared), Iain and Liston for a job well done. read more

Very responsive. Movers were friendly, polite, and did an excellent job getting the van packed-nothing broken after a rough 900+ mile move on some terrible roads. They were a little high cost-wise, but would use again. read more

Jake and Michael with Big Orange Moving were very professional and took really good care of some of my old pieces of furniture that had belonged to my grandmother and mother. They work well together and seemed to anticipate each other's intentions. Moving is not my favorite activity, but these two young men made it a pleasure. They were kind and courteous, even when directed to the upstairs with some furniture that belonged on the first floor. I was extremely pleased with how they treated my things and how they treated me! read more

Our two guys were super courtesy, flexible and fast! Would highly recommend this group!!

Second time using Big Orange Movers-the guys were great! They're nice, respectful and reliable.

A pretty botched service at best. Poor communication and didn't pack and deliver items from the old address.
