    Cocktails with noodle straws!
    Emily M.

Top carbonara of my 2-week trip to Italy in October 2024. We found this restaurant by searching for "carbonara" on Google Maps and it did not lead us astray! We didn't have a reservation so we were told it would be about an hour wait. We weren't hungry yet, so we decided to stick it out, even in the rain. We ended up getting in about 20 minutes later when a table opened up. We got 2 versions of carbonara and spritzes to drink. Everything was wonderful. The carbonara was so creamy and simple. I loved it so much. The ambiance was so fun, some neon pasta themed lights and pasta patterns on lampshades. It was probably a touristy spot, but we had a wonderful time and the service was friendly. We ate in a nice covered patio and the noodles as straws were adorable. 10/10!

We came for a later dinner at the peak of Italian tourist season. At first, the owner said there were no tables open, but after walking around for a bit and asking a second time (nowhere else looked as good!), they let us in. The patio is beautiful with very cute modern light fixtures. Our server was attentive and helpful. We ordered the fried pasta appetizer, which came with fresh mozzarella. It was incredible. Everyone in my party really enjoyed their pasta. I had the pesto and it was delicious. The menu had something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in the area- I'd say it was one of, if not the best, meals of the whole trip.

Made dinner reservations for 6:30pm. I got a glass of white wine and started with the mozzarella and prosciutto app with fried pasta - it was larger than expected and very delicious. For pastas, we chose the nerano pasta and ravioli. The spaghetti alla nerano was the perfect comfort food - it met my high expectations - and the ravioli were very good also. Pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauces were great. For dessert, we tried tiramisu and cherry 'ravioli'. We liked both, but I preferred the tiramisu. Location was very convenient to where we were staying and we had attentive service.

Venturing out tonight away from our tour group, the Concierge recommended a "Homemade" pasta place down the base of Sorrento, so we grab a taxi & head down. No Reservations and its Italian Independence Day so everyone is eating out tonight. We are seated in the front area overlooking the walkway & Sergio our server was great all evening. Wine lists have photos with wine descriptions which I feel every place should have LOL. We select a wine, and we are off & running. 3 of us tonight. We start with the "FRIED PASTA PLATTER" which was unlike anything I've ever had. All types of pasta & Vegetables quick fried with Spicy Marinara as well as a mayonnaise based dipping sauce on the side. A great starter, which was more inclined to bar food than a fine dining experience, but the presentation & taste were quite unique. Moving on. 3 Entrees, all homemade pastas. Rigatoni with marinara seemed like a safe bet, but it had or tasted like it had a hint of cream which made this dish truly outstanding. Simple but really good flavor. Ravioli, homemade obviously were stuffed with 3 types of cheeses in the same sauce as above. Equally outstanding. Homerun on the Spaghetti carbonara with pancetta, which is always lukewarm, but somehow, they were able to elevate it to hot without turning the egg into scrambled. 2 Coffees where hot & Fresh. As stated, Sergio was great all night & the price points were very reasonable based on service & food quality. Not sure when I'll be in Sorrento again, but for those visiting Highly recommended.

If you are looking for fresh made pasta, then stop here for sure! My absolute favorite dish is Carbonara and they did not disappoint! This was my favorite meal by far while on our trip.

Stumbled across this place for lunch. Super cute spot, excellent service. Wine, salad and pesto were fabulous. Excellent fresh flavors. Available for dine in or take away. Definitely recommend for a good classic Italian lunch or dinner. The desserts look incredible and creative but I didn't have room :] tiramisu is served in an tiny stovetop express maker :]

This place was absolutely delicious. Not only were the pastas homemade, the prices were also very reasonable. The staff were very friendly as well. We ordered the burrata (4/5), rigatoni (5/5), scampi (4/5), and fried spaghetti with Nutella (4.5/5). Highly recommend this place!

Cool little pasta shop located just off the main street in Sorrento. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Quite nice sitting outside as its enclosed. We tried the pesto and the seafood pasta. The pesto was delicious and the fresh pasta had great texture cooked perfectly al dente. The seafood pasta had nice seafood, but I thought it could have had slightly more flavor in the sauce. Great dishes and truly an amazing value!

    Fried pasta appetizer

Not a bad spot, liked but didn't love it. I like pasta al dente but my spaghetti were very firm and the meat sauce very salty. Note I do love salt. The fried pasta appetizer was different and if you love prosciutto and mozarella it has a good amount of that on the plate. But the fried spaghetti sounded a lot better in theory than eating them. Friendly service, great table wine. For me personally between 3-4 Stars.

Spaghetti dessert with nutella- the craziest dessert I have ever seen and it was delicious!!!

Pasta was good, service was ok, it was a little loud even for open air, but ok. Restaurant was closed on Friday.

We wanted seafood because when in Sorrento...why not opt for super fresh seafood right by the coast?! Our server recommended a really delicious local red that was super reasonably priced and we enjoyed with said red: For Primi -- *Gnocchi alla sorrentina (Sorrento-style Gnocchi): I mean...we kinda had to get a regional specialty right? Gnocchi here is potato based instead. It was SO delicious - still perfect texture. They also served this HOT HOT HOT with melty cheese. So delicious and a really generous portion!! *Spaghettoni alle vongole (Pasta with Clams): Another favorite for us in general so figured a really fresh version could be stellar and it didn't disappoint! This slightly edged out the gnocchi for me flavor-wise, but the gnocchi was dang good so it just goes to show how DELISH this was!!! For Secondi -- *Grigliata mista di pesce (mixed grilled fish - this was an incredible plate of such fresh seafood. There was various fish, a giant prawn, octopus alll grilled & seasoned to perfection! *Swordfish special! -- apparently it was swordfish season and it was a 'fresh catch' and I feel like you could tell! Really lovely and nicely seasoned. Portions were very generous & we were way too full for dessert at this point! So you could probably eat more "American" style here (Just 1 entree instead of our approach), but the menu here is pretty stellar!!!

I had been bit by a crab a number of times at Amalfi earlier in the day. I decided to return the favor and had the excellent crab with squid ink pasta. Added a second course of a local fish with cherry tomatoes, also delicious. Family enjoyed their dinner as well.

The restaurant is in a back alley and made for a private experience. We had three servers taking care of us and making sure we were enjoying our dining experience. The focaccia was better than any I have had. It had fresh veggies and the olive oil blended the flavors perfectly. I had the lasagna, not as good as mine at home but delicious. My daughter had the special, a lemon shrimp pasta. She said it was heavy on the lemon but fresh and delightful. I would recommend the restaurant if you have time to slow down and enjoy your food. To make it worse the manager tries to argue that you ate both and need to pay. Challenging since all the staff saw the waiter take it back. The waiter then corrected the bill, but the damage was done. Being insulted and called a liar is poor hospitality. Simply avoid, the positive reviews must be fake. A table of 4 next to us got up after no one went to them, after waiting for 15-20 minutes. They went across the street- wish I did the same. Incredibly awful experience. From food, to rude and ignorant staff, to bugs all over. A must miss place.

The chef's starter was not my favorite, very mushy textures for the burrata esque one and the octopus one, but the potato one was fine. The bread basket with an assortment of breads is delicious. The Giglio pasta with salmon comes moving which is cool, but it was also very unique and good. The catch of the day was solid. The gnocco was great, but also my vegetarian family got the dish modified so who knows what it was supposed to taste like actually lol. The tiramisu was very different but good and the tiramisu espresso martini was out of this world tbh

Couldn't taste much flavor from broccoli, eel pieces were tiny, and risotto was undercooked at the top. At the bottom it was better and I'm guessing it's because as the dish cooled, the bottom kept cooking longer. It wasn't served to me hot either. I didn't even end up finishing it. Tagliolini- 8/10. Good flavor, but nothing special. We had better pasta elsewhere that was also much cheaper. Seabass- 8.5/10. At least the cook on the seabass was good. but again nothing special Beef cheeks- 8.5/10. Same- solid but nothing I'd write home about. Overall, this has been the least impressive Michelin starred meal I've experienced in a while. The lack of flavor and unevenly and undercooked risotto was really disappointing. And the prices are way higher than what the meal is worth. Would recommend skipping this spot.
