I had to call my husband over to look up our bank statement and prove that we did in fact pay for the souvenir cup. This is the worst display of customer service. We have experienced bad service and discrimination here as american tourists, but nothing of this magnitude. We will travel elsewhere and not return because this was not the only rude treatment we received while on vacation.

We also tried a Mexican Caramel Frap, which was overly sweet. If there's anything I'd say you must try at McDonald's in Mexico, it's the McPatatas con Queso and Pay de Queso. Do you see the pattern of how obsessed I am about cheese? The mcpatatas are pretty typical potato wedges with a nacho cheese sauce that was simple, yet delicious. But it was the pay de queso or cheese pie that I was absolutely in love with. The pie crust was super crispy while filled with gooey cheese that was on the savory side.
