After returning from work, i like to get some inscense or candy for the young ones before getting home. Above it all, I like the Islander accent, along with their caring grandparent smoothness and their hospitable style. But I found this place because my once tweeny daughter use to come down to this store with her friends after school. It's a hot stop spot for Takoma EC, Coolidge Highschool, Whittier Elementary to name those I know of near there.

It usually has everything I'm looking for, but it's really expensive whenever I walk out of there. Don't even both to go to the cash register to pay or you'll be there for a while. There's usually only one person with the line being 5 people long. I always just go to self check out and hope that the light doesn't blink and have to wait for someone to help. The pharmacy line is very slow and sometimes wait time can be on the slow side even if you're given a time. I get my meds here a lot out of convenience but I probably shouldn't. The line is always super long, no one knows where it starts for some reason so people just cut, and then they can sometimes take forever to get your stuff. Most of the people that are working there are not too friendly. I don't remember anyone being outright mean to me at the pharmacy, so I guess that's what keeps me coming back.

This CVS is the pharmacy everyone loves to hate. Or maybe just hates. But I detect improvement. On…read moremy latest visit, there was an electronic check in for picking up prescriptions. It was easy to use, and much quicker than mouthing your name and DOB through a pane of glass, and sometimes, a mask, as the tech struggles to hear. In a short time my medicine was brought to the counter, I paid, and was outta there. I think this will greatly improve how quickly those agonizingly long lines move. On this occasion, there was NO line, but I think that was a fluke, as when I left I saw a line had formed. Also, I have enjoyed the CVS app, where you can leave a message for the pharmacist and get a call back with an answer to your question within a few hours. Again, much more efficient that being on hold or standing in line (again) at the consultation counter. Fingers crossed that these efficiencies hold and I am able to bump up my stars to four, or dare I wish it, FIVE! For that to happen, the prescription refill process will need to be vastly improved. On one hand, the wait was a bit long. But on the other hand, the wait was "long" because the cashier was helping a customer figure out their coupon situation.
