THANK GOD one of the workers told me it was okay for me to leave it there until the owner got there, checked my car and he would tell me "what's up". I decided to wait, and of course it was a while because I didn't have an appointment so I understood. Guillermo came told me he was going to see the car and give me a call to tell me how bad it was and the estimated price. A day passed because I wasn't the only client there (duh) and when he called, he gave me all the info. He was honest and told me how things looked but also prepared me if it was going to be worse once he fixed what I broke. Guess what? It was just as he said it was going to be, an easy fix and what I paid was nothing compared to what others charge. Did it take him a couple of days? Yes. Well duh! it was an unexpected job but he did so good and I loved the honesty and straightforwardness. I am recommending him to everyone I know!

HOWEVER, if you rather have a shop and a mechanic you can ACTUALLY trust over "princess treatment" and "catering" then this is definitely a place to take your cars. When I've been forced to take my car to another shop for X reasons, it is never for that one thing that I get billed for. It's always a phone call telling me how my car need x,y and z and if I don't do it my car will be ruined and burst into flames When I go to PRO Auto I'm not hit with any surprises. I am advised of possible upcoming services it may need and usually am given a suggested time frame for repairs. The shop always looks busy and full and the owner, Guillermo, is always running around like a madman working on vehicles, making calls, negotiating, dealing with customers. He can easily be misunderstood for rude due to his voice and demeanor but in all actuality this man is a hard worker, honest and dependable. From my conversations with him through the years I know they take on a lot of big jobs but they do not neglect or reject customers regardless of how small the job is. For those of us that know the shop and the people, we understand that if you want an oil change, for example, leave your car as soon as it opens and that's that. Bigger jobs have required me to leave my car but I rather leave it and trust that they'll do it RIGHT. Like the shop sign says, "We guarantee fast service no matter how long it takes".

Put that together with the notes/goals on your glass door to push your sales team to write up more services and you get what you offer in this department. They call dealerships like Kia Imperial Stealer-ships. As I waited in the service office, I heard the two other salesmen in the room offer the same "extra services" to all customers. Which, if accepted, would change a simple service/oil change of $109 into a massive bill of $800 + for services which it appears that all of us then needed at the same time???? You offered the same added 'opportunities' to all five of us in the service office. One poor young lady was 'forced', 'coerced'  into choosing 'just two' this time and maybe two the next time- she only came for a simple service...!!!??? Now she is stuck without groceries for two weeks because of your high-pressure sales techniques.  SHAME ON YOU!!!    I am incredibly disappointed in this dealership ever since they removed Jeff Alford as the GM. I look forward to sharing this with KIA corporate. You folks are shameless- sin-verguenzas. I am glad that my two Kia's are now approaching the end of their warranties so I won't feel guilty just going to an honest local mechanic that won't try to 'force me into ridiculous extra services. By the way- the video's that you send out, are only as good as the effort that you put into  making them. The ones I received were not done well.- the audio was almost not there- no explanation of what I was seeing and why it might be important to authorize the ever-appealing cabin airfilter replacement. AAA could not take care of us but they referred us to these fine people in El Centro. We were desperate and they could have taken advantage of us. But they didn't. Their employee changed out the blown tire with one of our spares, put air in the other tires telling us the correct air pressure and charged $30!!!! Lupita ran the office and she was friendly and helpful and really calmed us old people down. I worried about using the bathroom in a male dominated tire warehouse but it was SPOTLESSLY clean!!!!! We were stuck near the Imperial Sand Dunes lookout and Camel Towing was a literally life saver!…read more Nowhere near any place we could walk to, and in the 100 degree heat with a car we couldn't drive was awful and stressful. We called multiple towing companies nearby and none would or were able to help tow an electric car. We called Camel Towing and they immediately were willing to help and said they'd be there in an hour and 15 minutes. They came quite literally in that time window and Mando was so friendly and great and put us at ease. He took us back into town 40 minutes away to a charging station and told us a lot of interesting facts about the area and the sand dunes and made the process and enjoyable as it can be. Even made sure we could stop at a gas station to get water or snacks if we needed since we were stranded for the better part of a day. So thankful for these guys! If you have any trouble in the Sand Dunes area they are for sure one of the best options!
