They just happened to be the company that installed the original unit in the house also, so that's a plus. Our homes unit is 20 years old and I figured they'd tell us to get a new one, but that isn't the case. It was the exact opposite. The technician informed us that it's running very well. It was refreshing to have that kind of honesty in a company these days. That is why I called them and no one else for the other house we bought. We gutted the house and needed a new a/c. I called and spoke to Virgil, who came right out. I told him that I was impressed with the way the technicians don't just try to sell you on something. He said that is how his company does business. Love it! Again, he was honest and told us that amazingly, the duct work in the other house was great and we didn't need to replace it. He told us once we had the drywall installed, to call for installation. He had given us a nice quote, good for 90 days and he honored that. The techs came out within a few days of my phone call and installed the unit and we now have working air. Fabulous staff and company that I would highly recommend!! I won't use anyone else.

Just a small part needed replacing. Now it's back working like new. I will hire Davis Air Conditioning again when needed. I am very pleased with the results of my repair job.

Thier driver called me at approximately 9:16 am, stating that he was at the front gate. Our property is approx 1 mile long, so it took me 5 mins to get to the gate to give him access, he was nowhere to be seen. I attempted to call him, to verify he was at the correct location, no answer, sent him, their tech, Shawn a text message as well. At 9:26 am he called back, immediately went into specs of the job, questions, which I discerned, to be for justifying his actions of leaving. I asked him if he was on site or if he had left, which he stated that he had left. At which time, I bid him have a nice day and thank you. I immediately contacted DeHart's main office, with whom the apt was scheduled, advised them of events. I spoke to Angie, who stated that he was there for over 20 mins, etc., but never received a call upon his arrival, apparently only after the decision was made to leave, then he went into the specs of the job, which was a repair as stated above, again attempting to justify their position. As I run several businesses, I advised Angie of the two options. One, a refund is issued for the $100 fee, or not. There's no need to quantify any actions, as its clear of their position. I usually do not write reviews, but in this case, I felt it prudent, as I consider those in these times who do not have excess funds to waste, especially our vets or elderly. I would expect any business to have employees/workers who do not wish to find a way to make free money at the expense of others. The tech (Shawn) is, as I presume being paid hourly, therefore has no motivation, let alone the ethical purview to accomplish his job. I am always on the lookout for any employee who has these traits, for DeHart, if one of their reps is reading this, you should already know that if an employee is willing to cut one corner, they will cut many corners, and in the end cost you more income/money than they are worth. Given Angie's position, it seemed like this was a norm in the status quo, but I presume, and unfortunate for them, if this had been a large job, their attitudes would have been completely different, in the context of, "The customer is always right". It was a screening for two larger jobs as I am having a home built here on my property and already have a facility built in the front that will be GMP certified, which I am looking for all the contractors currently. This is why I always have smaller projects done before I execute a larger, more costly, project. I hope this helps anyone looking to have any HVAC work done in the near future.

The first guy that…read morecame out tried to snake our washer drain, said he couldn't get through and assumed the pipe was collapsed. He then tells us the only thing he could do was to hook up our washer drain to the hvac drain (we know nothing about plumbing...which is why we called a plumber). I confirmed with him twice it would not cause any further issues and that it was ok to do. He assured me it was totally fine and we wouldn't have any problems. It starts leaking again a couple months later (in my head I believed the pipe was fixed and assumed it was my washer) then it starts leaking so bad we look under the crawl space. Water is gushing from the pipe they have installed. We call them again and a different person comes out. He tells us that the first guys work was never going to solve the problem, that work should never have been done (its against code) and the last guy was fired for doing shady work just like that. At this point, we dont know whats going on so I call another company who confirms, that work should have never been done! Just spoke to a manager today who says even though he knows that it shouldn't have been done all they can do is offer to credit the money we have already paid them to do further shady work on our home. Do not call them for absolutely anything!

I called our home warranty company on Tuesday morning and they referred a plumber to us, but he couldn't make it until Thursday. When he came out, he was unable to unclog the line. He told me not to worry and to call the city to come out and check the lines. They did and said their lines were clear. Again, he told me not to worry, he was going to do whatever he could to help us out, and he would call me back after talking to our home warranty company. Our home warranty company denied the next step, but he said he would work with us to take care of our problem. He had a machine that was more heavy duty, and he would call me at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to set up a time for Friday. No phone call. I called him 3 times on Friday and left messages. Still no phone call. I was told by my home warranty company that I had to go look for a plumber on my own. I looked up on Yelp, put out requests, and Van Dyck was the only company that actually called me and wanted to talk to me. The other companies just wanted me to schedule an appointment. So I called Van Dyck on Monday afternoon, and they came out today (Tuesday). They were professional, took the time to explain what they were doing, and they were able to unclog the line! I know this review is long, but I wanted to explain why Van Dyck has earned my 5 star rating and my recommendation for this company. I've never had to do this before, and I have had companies try to "pull the wool over my eyes" because they know I don't know what to do or what questions to ask. Van Dyck understood my frustration and I was put at ease. I will be forever grateful to this company! Van Dyck Mechanical LLC is a true example of "The Oklahoman Way"
