We happened to pass a Vermillion truck on the road and called the number. They scheduled with us, came right out, and didn't try to scam us. We told them immediately they were hired. They came out and started the work, but once they dug, they saw some of the lines were encased in concrete. So they had to come back a couple days later to finish. Charles are Brian are consummate professionals, being as careful as possible with our property - let's face it, the yard is gonna get torn up a little - but most of all, making sure to do the job thoroughly, all while being super nice, even in the pouring rain. Of course it failed the first time it flooded; said previous owner just put in a braided pipe to bypass the water softener and just left the whole thing in the ground. After yanking out the entire apparatus (including a still hot electrical outlet) and noting what had been done, I called several plumbers, but Good Guys is the one that actually answered. They came out, gave me their assessment, which was to put in a more permanent solution, and an estimate of what that would cost...which was less than I figured it would be. Two days later, they came back, and had it done quickly and professionally. These guys got the job done, and didn't break the bank doing it. I recommend them highly.

They had to have a down payment to hire the backhoe (1st wrong thing I did.), and had to push back the time to come do the work because the rains were frequent then. Once it dried out enough to do the work, my yard was still destroyed and it took several calls to get them to come back to the house to cover the pipe and at least even out the mess they'd made in the yard. I didn't want to write anything until recently when my sewer stopped up again. It seems that when you pay someone $1200.00 to lay a new line, the sewer shouldn't stop up within the year, but it did. They just happened to be the company that installed the original unit in the house also, so that's a plus. Our homes unit is 20 years old and I figured they'd tell us to get a new one, but that isn't the case. It was the exact opposite. The technician informed us that it's running very well. It was refreshing to have that kind of honesty in a company these days. That is why I called them and no one else for the other house we bought. We gutted the house and needed a new a/c. I called and spoke to Virgil, who came right out. I told him that I was impressed with the way the technicians don't just try to sell you on something. He said that is how his company does business. Love it! Again, he was honest and told us that amazingly, the duct work in the other house was great and we didn't need to replace it. He told us once we had the drywall installed, to call for installation. He had given us a nice quote, good for 90 days and he honored that. The power went out…read moreapparently, but I didn't notice because our awesome Generac, installed by Powers Services kicked on. It was installed November 8th, just in time in seems. The company recently called to check in with us and my husband told them we were happy with the installation. The only thing was the gas line that had to be dug had somewhat sunk in and so had a hole. They sent someone out immediately to fill it in. It really wasn't a big deal, but how good was that of them to care enough a month later? Best money I've spent in awhile.
