Of course it failed the first time it flooded; said previous owner just put in a braided pipe to bypass the water softener and just left the whole thing in the ground. After yanking out the entire apparatus (including a still hot electrical outlet) and noting what had been done, I called several plumbers, but Good Guys is the one that actually answered. They came out, gave me their assessment, which was to put in a more permanent solution, and an estimate of what that would cost...which was less than I figured it would be. Two days later, they came back, and had it done quickly and professionally. These guys got the job done, and didn't break the bank doing it. I recommend them highly.

I called our home warranty company on Tuesday morning and they referred a plumber to us, but he couldn't make it until Thursday. When he came out, he was unable to unclog the line. He told me not to worry and to call the city to come out and check the lines. They did and said their lines were clear. Again, he told me not to worry, he was going to do whatever he could to help us out, and he would call me back after talking to our home warranty company. Our home warranty company denied the next step, but he said he would work with us to take care of our problem. He had a machine that was more heavy duty, and he would call me at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to set up a time for Friday. No phone call. I called him 3 times on Friday and left messages. Still no phone call. I was told by my home warranty company that I had to go look for a plumber on my own. I looked up on Yelp, put out requests, and Van Dyck was the only company that actually called me and wanted to talk to me. The other companies just wanted me to schedule an appointment. So I called Van Dyck on Monday afternoon, and they came out today (Tuesday). They were professional, took the time to explain what they were doing, and they were able to unclog the line! I know this review is long, but I wanted to explain why Van Dyck has earned my 5 star rating and my recommendation for this company. I've never had to do this before, and I have had companies try to "pull the wool over my eyes" because they know I don't know what to do or what questions to ask. A year ago Van Dyck techs installed a water filter system for our church. At that time, I was very…read moresatisfied with work but it was pricey. Almost one year later we had a flood in the hallway with water coming from the filter system that Van Dyck installed. The filter system had fell off the wall due to the system was screwed into the wall with no anchors, just inch and a half screws in the sheet rock. The weight of the filter system caused the filter caps to Crack flooding the mechanical room, entryway and hallway. Van Dyke came out and replaced system and charged the church 580.00. I called and spoke to someone named Derrick and told him this was shoddy work and that the church should should not have pay. He said he would investigate. I received an invoice and was told it had to be paid now. Call a second time and still waiting to hear from Derrick. If they can treat a church this way, I know others can expect the same treatment. We have an maintenance agreement with Van Dyke but we will not be using them again. LG

They put the pipe in but they didn't concrete it in so someone else had to do that.. they told me I got a hard water softener. I called him three times and asked them. This is a hard water softener. Does it need salt tablets no, it doesn't.. Little bit down the road I had some plumbing issues. I called another company out and he looked at my sister and he said do you know what that is? I said well Pippin Brothers of Lawton Oklahoma. I said it was a water softener. He said it's not a hard water softer it's water filter and it's not filtration through the house. It's filtering back to itself so I wasn't doing anything.. I had to pay not just what I needed that day but have him fixed that and I'm still paying on that loan so it's like adding insulting in injury shop around call around get other estimates call several people several companies

Had them put in a couple faucets and install a water softener back in November. The faucets both…read morestarted leaking I was honest might have been due to cold. I was willing to pay for the repairs but one faucet they provided and I figured they would stand behind that product and warranty it. NOPE. they quote me $350 to repair the bathroom faucet and replace the kitchen faucet. Reluctantly I say yes after they weren't going to warranty any of it. Then he calls me from town tells me the price is $550 because the faucet is more than expected. I said ok whatever I need it fixed we are selling our house. Then he shows up and says he can't fix the other faucet either it would need to be replaced I said no way I will do it you guys need to rename your company "unaffordable" plumbing. He still charged me $400 to replace a faucet that should have been under warranty and labor. NEVER WILL I USE OR REFER THIS COMPANY. Ridiculous prices and they seem incompetent I could have replaced the faucets I wanted them fixed they were only couple months old. Tuff lesson learned highway robbery never again don't use them stay away !!
