We just bought a house and had an issue with the water draining slowly over the entire house and…read moremaking gurgling sounds. Of course I was thinking the worst case scenario. I called Justus and they came out the next day. The two guys that came out were very helpful and nice. When they realized what the issue was, they immediately went to get their equipment to fix it. They needed in the gate, but my husband had given me the wrong gate key. They could have told me I'd have to reschedule, but they took my gate off to get in, did the work, and put my gate back on. As they were leaving, I had asked them to see if my water heater would've be easily converted to a tankless. But I had a lot of boxes in the garage since we just moved. I mentioned the boxes and one guy said yeah they were a little cramped back there. I figured we'd do it another time. The second guy noticed that our vent was off the water heater. The first guy said that he needed to move the boxes to fix it or we could die. I was going to get my brothers to move the boxes, but both of these guys moved them and were so nice about it. They fixed the vent so gas wouldn't leak out, and fixed my plumbing, despite my issues, all while super nice. You just don't find folks like this anymore. Hopefully they will be doing my tankless water heater and a new line to convert from an electric stove to gas soon. I met the owner a few days later and he is just as nice as his guys! I would definitely recommend this company!

I am not sure why as we did not try to lower the price. We accepted what they quoted. Anyway, fast forward, we were getting frustrated at not being able to get the work done. We happened to pass a Vermillion truck on the road and called the number. They scheduled with us, came right out, and didn't try to scam us. We told them immediately they were hired. They came out and started the work, but once they dug, they saw some of the lines were encased in concrete. So they had to come back a couple days later to finish. Charles are Brian are consummate professionals, being as careful as possible with our property - let's face it, the yard is gonna get torn up a little - but most of all, making sure to do the job thoroughly, all while being super nice, even in the pouring rain. We have hired them for another project as well on another house and recommend that you do as well. I'm sure they are all good, but don't forget to ask for Charles and Brian!

When I called them back they said this is how appointments works for them. She then cancelled by appointment even though I requested her not to. I waited 3 days for their appointment and then they cancelled at last moment. I would recommend not to choose them. If they are assigned by your home warranty then ask them to reassign to someone more professional.

Clogged to the point where the stoppage was laughing at my plunger saying, "I'm not going anywhere." Then came Ernie with SOL to my sh***y rescue, quite literally. He was very professional and friendly and quickly diagnosed my problem--two plus years of Dude Wipes flushed down the drain. Toilet auger, drill and five minutes later and the clog was defeated. The price also, for a professional plumber, was quite reasonable. Thanks Ernie! John

**CHECK ATTACHED PHOTO EVIDENCE**…read more The following was my Google review of S.O.L.. If you'd like to know exactly what you'd have to deal with in case something went wrong, look no further. Enjoy. "Horrible service, bad installation job, and a shitty attitude, no pun intended. Initially, I thought perhaps he had a bad day, but the more I dealt with him, the more I realized he is as racist as they come! It's sad to see that such people still exist!! This dude changed a toilet and threw the old toilet in front of my house claiming that the city will pick it up, 10 days later I complained and he had to come back and pick it up. Do you want to guess what he did with it?? He dumped it behind my neighbor's house. When I complained to the management company about it, he claimed that he had permission from the neighbor, which he did NOT! A total lie that can easily be shown by talking to the neighbors. Which I did. Additionally, he messed up installing a toilet where the base is just freely moving and refuses to fix it, he didn't like that we discovered his bad job! Moreover he is pissed off that we didn't allow him to just leave the toilet behind in the neighborhood "TWICE"!!, which is something that he might be doing in his other jobs for those who are unfortunate to do business with him "check his work" even after he leaves the house. Check around the neighborhood and make sure he didn't leave garbage around your neighbors house. The guy simply doesn't want to do the job right! He's taking short cuts left and right, blaming everyone under the sun for his short comings just to get out of honoring the warranty he offered "CHECK ATTACHED SCREEN SHOT" So I'd take his 100% satisfaction guaranteed with a grain of salt. Please take the time to read his reply to this review. Ad hominem attacks at best (((SEE ATTACHED SCREEN SHOT OF HIS INITIAL REPLY))) It should show you the caliber of the individual you will deal with if things didn't go his way, or if you were of a race he doesn't like. Unfortunately. Remember, this happened inside my house where I may or may not have cameras in every corner. * The attached photos are from the time he dumped the toilet behind my neighbor's house. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY screen shots of his initial reply to this post which he changed because he realized messed up! I will keep watching the changes he makes and post screen shots to this post for your convenience. Just to show how sneaky he is, unfortunately. This is an honorable job and it can be treated as such.

Van Dyck Mechanical is an absolute godsend!…read more We had a clog in the sewer line on Monday night. I called our home warranty company on Tuesday morning and they referred a plumber to us, but he couldn't make it until Thursday. When he came out, he was unable to unclog the line. He told me not to worry and to call the city to come out and check the lines. They did and said their lines were clear. Again, he told me not to worry, he was going to do whatever he could to help us out, and he would call me back after talking to our home warranty company. Our home warranty company denied the next step, but he said he would work with us to take care of our problem. He had a machine that was more heavy duty, and he would call me at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to set up a time for Friday. No phone call. I called him 3 times on Friday and left messages. Still no phone call. I was told by my home warranty company that I had to go look for a plumber on my own. I looked up on Yelp, put out requests, and Van Dyck was the only company that actually called me and wanted to talk to me. The other companies just wanted me to schedule an appointment. So I called Van Dyck on Monday afternoon, and they came out today (Tuesday). They were professional, took the time to explain what they were doing, and they were able to unclog the line! I know this review is long, but I wanted to explain why Van Dyck has earned my 5 star rating and my recommendation for this company. I've never had to do this before, and I have had companies try to "pull the wool over my eyes" because they know I don't know what to do or what questions to ask. Van Dyck understood my frustration and I was put at ease. I will be forever grateful to this company! Van Dyck Mechanical LLC is a true example of "The Oklahoman Way"

Almost one year later we had a flood in the hallway with water coming from the filter system that Van Dyck installed. The filter system had fell off the wall due to the system was screwed into the wall with no anchors, just inch and a half screws in the sheet rock. The weight of the filter system caused the filter caps to Crack flooding the mechanical room, entryway and hallway. Van Dyke came out and replaced system and charged the church 580.00. I called and spoke to someone named Derrick and told him this was shoddy work and that the church should should not have pay. He said he would investigate. I received an invoice and was told it had to be paid now. Call a second time and still waiting to hear from Derrick. If they can treat a church this way, I know others can expect the same treatment. We have an maintenance agreement with Van Dyke but we will not be using them again. LG
