(On their quote site it has a box to indicate if the vehicle runs or not) He proceeded to tell me I am a meth head and to seek help for not accepting the offer. I said only a meth head would actually allow such a rip off? He carried on saying that he has my location and IP address. He threatened me and wrote to watch out if I post anything negative online about him. Sounds to me like this Dan Sullivan character is a sick individual. Stay away from him and this makeshift so called "business." Scary!! I would sooner donate a car to someone in need than take 4 hundred dollars for a vehicle that is in stellar operation.

This was through email and text. As the car was driveable we opted to bring it to them. We made arrangements with "Mike" to meet at 5:00 p.m at address they provided to us. Our first sign this was going to be a scam was when we arrived at the address and it was not a scrap yard but an address for a business that was closed for the weekend. I contacted Mike through text and he said we were at the right address and gave me a number to contact a "Rathi". I contacted him and he was coming but running late. He arrived. Looked at van, went underneath quickly (not sure what he thought he could see as it was dark already) and than tried to tell us our catalytic converter was not original and he would only give us $300. We are the first and only owners of this car and it did indeed have an original catalytic converter. "Rathi" tried to tell us he was an an estimator for scrap cars for 3 different businesses, lol, ya right!. I dont know if they did this as they thought that I would be going there alone and didnt know what I was doing as I was a female but surprise, my husband was with me. My husband proceed to call our mechanic right away. On speaker phone our mechanic told Rathi that not only was it the original but our van came with 3 catalytic converters. At this point, we said we were not interested where Rathi than tried to give us $350 (but what happened to the extra $200 for bringing it to them???). We said definitely not and left. I recently bought a used car from Vijay and his team and the experience was by far the most pleasant I have ever had, especially considering that the entire transaction was conducted online and by phone. Vijay and Raj were never less than helpful, courteous, and honest, keeping in touch throughout the whole rather complicated process of arranging finance, licensing the car, and having it shipped from Brantford to Ottawa. And the service didn't stop there. For example, the car arrived without its flat repair kit, but Vijay didn't shrug it off, as another salesman might, even though he already had his money and the transaction was over. Instead, he tried to source one in Brantford and when he failed asked me to buy one and promised to reimburse me. Kudos all round!
