His workouts are the best; challenging and hard but results driven. I really like how he checks to make sure your form is always correct as well. I go to his group classes 2-3 times a week conveniently in the later evening hours and he provides me with workouts I can do at home on the days I don't see him. Pari is amazing!!! I took Pari's class here a couple weeks ago and it was honestly the most fun I've had at a bootcamp! The workout was definitely challenging but she assisted along the way, and really helped everyone learn the exercises. I loved that the moves were creative, not just typical squats and lunges. I was sore for a few days after, which I loved because I knew the workout was effective. On top of that, Pari has a great energy and you never feel judged in her class! I was extremely hesitant since I worked with a personal trainer in the past who I found lackadaisical and didn't get the results I anticipated. I found Self Made Training Facility through a friend (Wade Minshew) who is a trainer there. He recommended my amazing trainer, Niki Chacon to me. Not only is the gym always clean, it is a upbeat and positive environment. All the trainers are so nice and there is always great music playing. Niki is an awesome trainer! I was nervous at first but Niki made me immediately feel comfortable. I have been training with Niki for a little over a month and I have already notices some fat loss and muscle gain . She knows when to push me and when to adjust to fit my athleticism. I just had a baby 6 weeks ago, came in for my first training session with josh. 1 hour work out was amazing ! He definitely motivated me to push myself and make sure I got the most out of my work out . I was introduced to Liz at Self Made Fitness through a friend. I was simply looking to stay fit and continue to tone up a bit. I was shocked to find after only 3 weeks I lost 4lbs and 4% body fat. My results have far outweighed my expectations. Liz gave me a meal plan with lots of variety and I'm certainly not starving myself at 1,600 calories per day. She pushes me at each session and also has boot camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. There is also an app through the gym where she gives me routines to do at home and tracks my diet. Unfortunately, my training here has ended on a bad note with one of the trainers and I'm actually pretty pissed about it... he ended my group boxing classes one month before my 3 months was up because he said he didn't have enough people for the class. I was understanding about it and told him okay that's fine as long as he sends my refund for the last month and he informed me he couldn't get it to me until the end of the month... in my opinion if you're running a business correctly I would have forwarded the cash back immediately after informing the client that there were going to be no more classes... but he seems to think it's okay to just keep my money and for me to not get what I paid for... it's now been a month and I've yet to receive my money back. Makes me feel like this isn't a very professional environment and you might get screwed over by these trainers here. Will NOT be coming back to this gym! I run a business of my own and would never treat my clients the way the trainers here treat their clients.. This training facility is the absolute best. Everyone here is super friendly and welcoming. I train with Evan Nelson and I love that he tailors workouts and meal plans to my specific goals and needs. I broke my left patella 2 years ago and tore a few tendons. I've never been the same since, even after physical therapy. Before beginning my training I explained to him the history of my knee injury. I was terrified of doing a simple lunge because my leg was so shaky. After just a month of training with him I was shocked as to what workouts I could do with my "stanky" leg because I've lacked strength and confidence for so long. For many years I struggled with motivation and lacked the knowledge to start my fitness journey. I always felt that the goal was too far away, so why bother starting.
