When I contacted her she said my skin was very sensitive and to put oil and cortisone on. She knew my skin was sensitive and had often told me so. Using other products I never had any results. Or if I did they would only last for a few days then my skin would break out again. It is a great experience to have someone personally tailor a skin care routine to your needs. When a friend brought up Starlit in a conversation, he was so insistent that I meet her that he ended up buying me a gift certificate for a facial. He was right; I was blown away by the entire experience. In just a few minutes after meeting her, I felt I'd met a new friend. When I left I felt about ten years younger, peaceful and uplifted. Her space, which she told me was lovingly custom-built by her husband on their property, is like entering a different, beautiful world that you don't want to leave. The clientele was trashy and swearing loudly. Overall, I think that I would have been ok with the price if I was told about it first. Also, there are not enough technicians working which was why my massage was so long. You do not need a license until the drill is used and chemicals are introduced. Save yourself the trouble, money, and attitude of the manager when you ask about the price difference and go somewhere else.

I tried to book with someone closer, but the thought of trusting my face and its issues to anyone else spooked me. I ended up canceling with that person and sticking with Christine. She is extremely knowledgable about all her products and comes up with a custom facial for me depending on what I need that day. Christine has a very gentle touch. In fact, I hate this but 9 times out of 10, I just fall asleep in the middle of my treatment. She is great fun to talk to! Also, Christine never pushes product on me ever. After bidding them adieu, I dropped into Sunset Med Spa without an appointment and they were able to get me in with Jamie. I described my prior experience and what I was looking for and got exactly that. Jamie was thorough, clearly very skilled and someone I felt I could trust with my face.
