They have valet parking available at the hospital entrance here which makes it a lot easier when I struggle to walk. Because I am only here for a little over an hour. They keep my car close to the front. The valets are very friendly and helpful. On my first visit I did have to get directions to make sure I got to the right place to check in, but it's actually not that hard. Once checked in by therapy, you take the elevator downstairs to the pool area for the aqua therapy. I've only had a couple of treatments so far and while I have been very happy with the employees and the way things seem to be going I have to say that it looks like I overdid it on my last visit and put too much strain in the wrong part of my back. This has had me laid up for a couple of weeks with my body recovering from it. I've had similar things happen before, and it is no fault of theirs. However, when I get back, I will have to have a conversation with the therapist to make some alterations on how they're doing the therapy on me. I would definitely recommend AdventHealth for therapy as I have had sessions with them on at least four different occasions and have always had good luck. They now have two locations in the celebration area plus the one in Davenport so there are options for where you can go.

Then being helped at the front desk by Antonio "Tony" is always a pleasure. He gets to know you quickly and personally and always professional. My physical therapists have done an incredible job of walking me through what's necessary to get better, helping me while there and sending me home with what I need to do to continue successfully. It's a place I feel reassured that I am getting the help I need, and very comfortable with the surroundings. I have had to use resources other facilities and this is by far, the very best.

An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! I feel like they get the science of PT as well as the art of being able to explain to each individual how to do the work/exercises to feel better faster. No gimmicks. No upsells. Just real, honest, workable action plans to put you back on your feet. Do you want to get better? Do you want to *really* get better? Stop looking and call these people. Schedule your appointment as soon as you can because the sooner you call them, the sooner you will feel and actually be better.

What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. What a fantastic person! I genuinely can't recommend Vissers highly enough. Come here to get stronger and better.

This office does stay quite busy so probably earlier reservations are a better experience. We found that the Desk staff were very courteous, efficient and friendly. Felicia was really nice in greeting us and RJ was excellent with his services and care. It was denied bcuz they assumed cancelations were me instead of PT I had months earlier in Sept the Texh was a no show cuz she had covid, another was another PT overbooked I got another PT & 2 or 3 were rescheduled told not held against me, which it was although I was within my contract. Doctor went from nice to belligerent doing a 180 saying in report I didn't need any treatments total lie! I was 0%. Another lie. Therefore, stopped my benefits & medical & I have co payments and no income WC checks stopped on 11/11 although proved bogus that's a month they owed me. Although, I challenged the lies & 12/9 changed it to I needed PT. Although, put full work duty that was not discussed on 12/9 but, I needed PT and was approved by adjuster this time & FCE approved. Therefore, can't have a test to know accommodations & get a 0% it's contradicting what was stated. More lies. Furthermore, I had a FCE done on 12/30 and got results in Jan permanent sitting accommodation s therefore disabled. Although, I get a n email for an assessment on 1/29 for the dizziness mess. No issue was pain in foot and back causing me not to be able to stand, walk or sit long. So messed up WC doctors & adjusters not always ethical! Be cautious! Know it's not you that they might be getting paid by Insurance carrier & in my case Employers & they aren't always honest. I had another doctor totally unethical & made up reports when I wasn't seen. So, I trust nobody! Just do your part & be your own advocate, be honest & if needed sue them with a jury & hold them accountable for their lies! I was released Jan although, they refuse to send a letter to my work for accommodations. They all need a rude awakening by a judge!
