After looking at our attic they recommended removing all our insulation, sealing the attic space with foam and adding new cellulose insulation.. They were knowledgeable and professional in their evaluation of our ice dam issues and so we put our trust in their expertise. They weren't the least expensive but we wanted it done right. They were prompt. They were also very conscience of cleanliness in the house. They got all the work done as expected. I would recommend this company. They also expressed that they stand behind their work and if we have issues they will return to fix them

What was most frustrating was not only the damage itself, but the company's unwillingness to take responsibility for it. (We have photos with time stamps to prove proper protection of the house wasn't done) I understand that accidents can happen on a job site, but I believe a professional company should stand behind its work and take responsibility when something goes wrong. Instead, I was left feeling like they were more concerned with denying that they caused the issue than with helping resolve it. The quality of the work and, more importantly, the way the situation was handled afterward left me very disappointed. I would strongly recommend discussing how they protect surrounding surfaces and how they handle accidental damage before hiring them.

We couldn't be happier with Grand Exteriors, and particularly with our representative, **Ari T.**…read more We originally contacted several contractors after our home in Blaine suffered visible hail and wind damage. From the very beginning, Ari stood out. She was responsive, knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely involved in helping us through both the roofing process and the insurance claim. Ari arranged to be at our home when the insurance adjuster inspected the property and documented everything herself, taking hundreds of photographs to make sure the damage to our home, garage, and shed was properly recorded. That became extremely valuable when State Farm initially questioned the scope of the claim and later proposed only a partial roof replacement. Ari and Grand Exteriors' project manager stepped in, provided the necessary documentation and bid, explained why the work needed to be completed properly, and helped us get approval for the full replacement. Throughout the entire process, Ari was exceptional. She brought sample boards to our home, met with my wife Lynette and me, answered texts and emails promptly, helped us work through the insurance questions, and made the whole process remarkably easy. We chose **CertainTeed Landmark ClimateFlex Class 4 architectural shingles in Burnt Sienna**, and the finished roof is absolutely beautiful. The color works perfectly with our blue siding, white soffit, and gutters, and we are extremely pleased with the result. The installation itself impressed me just as much. I happened to come home while the work was underway and saw the project manager walking the property and actively supervising the crew. He didn't know I was watching. He was checking the installation, giving instructions, and making sure details were being done correctly. That told me a great deal about the standards Grand Exteriors expects even when the homeowner isn't standing there. The crew also treated our property with real respect. They moved plants, hanging baskets, flowerpots, and yard decorations out of harm's way, were careful around our landscaping and flower beds, and cleaned everything thoroughly afterward. I even watched someone go around the property with a magnetic sweeper making sure stray nails and the last pieces of roofing material were picked up. I have high expectations when I hire a professional company, particularly for something as important and expensive as a roof. Grand Exteriors met them. In fact, the best recommendation I can give is that **we are hiring them again**. Later this year we are adding a four-season addition to our home, and Grand Exteriors will be handling the new roofing, siding, soffit, gutters, and exterior tie-in. Ari has already gone out of her way to find siding that perfectly matches our existing home. They may not be the absolute cheapest contractor, nor are they the most expensive. For the quality of the workmanship, project management, communication, and representation we received, I think they sit right in the sweet spot. If you need exterior work in Blaine, Anoka County, or the surrounding area, Grand Exteriors has our **highest recommendation**. And if you call them, remember one name: **Ari T. She's your go-to.**

We had an awesome experience with Paul from Grand Exteriors and his crew! When we had hail damage…read moreearlier this year, we decided to work with Grand to fix our roof and siding. Paul met with us at each crucial point to ensure we had the best care and experience possible. He came out to be onsite during the insurance inspector's examination of the roof and siding and helped us point out things that they should cover from the damage and serving as our advocate to the insurance company for things we wouldn't have noticed or thought to bring up otherwise. Once we got approved through insurance, Paul and his team took care of everything else - not nearly the headache I expected when working with insurance! He made sure everything we wanted to do would be covered in full. He then came out to discuss roof shingle and siding options, and gave helpful insight to which colors are most popular and show up best. He had the roofing team out shortly after, and the roofing crew worked quickly and efficiently. They did an awesome job in just over a full day! A few weeks later, the siding team came to complete all new siding, trim, and gutters which took about a full week. Paul came to check on the project mid-week and at the end, and the crew did an awesome job. We are so thrilled with the result - the before and afters are crazy! Working with the Grand Exteriors team was smooth, efficient, and communicative throughout the entire process.

So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.
