They're sending it to Summerville,Ohio and it is supposed to go to Summerfield Ohio I even spelled it for her it sounds like this place sucks and is not good for business. Had problem with getting the wrong size. Took over a few weeks to get a replacement ordered. First I talked to rep. she said I would be informed by emailed when ordered would be resent. Never received I called again could not get rep. Started a Live chat at 9:28 AM this was not an easy deal took over an hour to get that Person to understand that only needed one to be replaced I got (1) to big. Their refund policy is absolutely ridiculous. They refuse to refund for defective products unless you are willing to jump through multiple rings of fire. They demand that you send videos of the defective product. Then they must have a "team" of people review your request. Then they deny it. Then you must appeal their decision. Horrible company--I measure according to their instructions...They didn't fit. They say the guarantee satisfaction... Well they would not take them back. I did a chargeback and then called them again to send a call tag to pick them up to get them out of my house. I told them that I would donate them to Habitat for Humanity if they didn't have them picked up. They wrote me and told me to donate them. They then told the CC company that they never got them back! Horrible experience with 5 blinds ordered from Select. Buyer beware, they will not accept returns, give you your money back, or acknowledge the fact they provided blinds with incorrect dimensions. I now have 5 blinds that look horrible because they are too short and 1 completely is too small to even fit. We had to make wooden wedges to attach on both ends to keep from falling off. We should not have to do that. They needed to provide blinds that are exactly to the dimensions we ordered. Beginning to think Select Blinds is part of Walt Disney Corporation, I have never seen such a Micky Mouse outfit in my life! Started a warranty claim June 13th, 2024, please send me a couple of push ferrels (for string adjust) and I can fix it myself. Well, here we are July 26th, 2024, and still no parts oh the parts they did send looked nothing like the picture of the parts I needed and sent them. Small clear round is what I needed; black end caps is what they sent? 12 to 15 phone calls and have asked to speak to a someone in charge just to be told no one is available now but someone will call you back within 24-48 hours. Was told this on 3 different occasions and I even waited 72 hours to call back and was told the same thing 24-48 hours someone will call. Have spoken with Raymond twice what a puppet this guy is he told me once a manager will call me back in 5 minutes! Don't do it. They are not made in the US and you can not speak to a human if something goes wrong. Only text or chat with representatives in the Philippines. I am trying to track an order showing "package received" by FedEx for 11 days and not moving. The customer service representative tried to tell me the order was delayed due to the hurricane. I quickly pointed out that San Diego (where the blinds ship from) was not effected by a hurricane so she changed her story and told me they were "held up in customs". With so many online blinds services to pick from keep looking for one with better reviews. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will dispute the charge on PayPal so I can get my money back and reorder from someone else. Lesson learned. Read the other reviews also. read more

If you order shades/blinds from them be aware that what you get is what you have to keep. I ordered a whole house of cordless shades and within two years two of them stopped working due to frayed and tangled cords. I called customer service and was told I could put in a warranty claim and all I had to do was contact customer returns with a picture of the damage and a replacement would be sent. The website wouldn't let me submit the claim, calling customer service is no better.The Real real is that they last maybe two years and the solution is to wait til they have a 50 off sale and just replace the defective shades. That being said, the shades are nice while they last but the cost/value factor goes up if you have to buy replacements every two years. read more

I ordered $1,249 worth of "luxury" vertical blinds for inside mount windows. All the vanes were too long, even though I used their measuring instructions. Now they want $998.76 to remake the vanes they cut wrong. I emailed numerous pictures to prove it was their mistake. Their return policy says they will remake at no charge if its their mistake, unfortunately they don't own up to their mistakes. Now they're ignoring me. It is hard to rate this company because the blinds they make are usually awesome. I would give their products a 5 Star rating and Customer Service a 1 Star. Over the past 10 - 12 years, I have ordered and installed 22 different sets of faux wood window blinds. I have never had a problem until I ordered a replacement set last month. The fit in the window is great, but the blinds will not close all the way. The new blinds are in between 5 older sets of blinds. You can see from my photo how much more light comes in from the new blinds verses the old ones. I asked for a replacement and explained the problem. I was asked for photos, then a video, I sent both. Now, I am being told that these are not "Blackout Shades" and that is the way they are supposed to work. This new set of blinds are the same make and model as the other 21 sets I bought from them, and they all snap closed very tightly. I was told "Sorry for any inconvenience" this may have caused. I think this company must have had new owners take over recently. The customer service they used to have was great. They can now deal with my bank on this purchase. read more

Ordered 3 custom sized blinds. Website said "Ships in 5-7 days!" when I ordered. 8 days later and they have an estimated ship date of another full week out. I asked if they could help me out with expedited shipping since their production is taking longer. They said sure - for $30 a blind!! Product is fine....shipping is terribly slow via UPS. Three weeks from order and still have not received my blinds. Comparatively I personally sent a similar weighted shipment to New Mexico via UPS ground and it arrived in six days. Not sure where the problems with shipping lie. read more

I purchased my second set of blinds for my french doors, (first set broke after 2 years) then less than 6 months later another one broke. I contacted Select Blinds to file a warranty claim, I sent them a picture of the broken blind, as requested, then they wanted a video. I have no way of sending them a video. A few years back I remodeled our first home and got all the blinds from Select Blinds. The experience was good since everything fit or was close to the ordering dimensions. Recently, after my 4 year-old took a pair of scissors to the blinds in the master bedroom of our new home, I ordered three blinds to replace the old ones. I wrote in the dimensions and not long after I received my blinds but this time each blind was narrower by 5/8 of an inch. That is almost three quarters of an inch narrower. I needed to mount these side by side to cover a large three pane window. After multiple attempts to resolve this with customer service, the final answer was pretty much, "we can't replace them or give you a refund, since they were within our margin of error of 1/2" for inside the frame and +/- 1/8" adjustment. That's almost three quarters of an inch of an excuse not to replace these. If this is what they mean by "custom blinds" then the idea of "custom" can be thrown out the blind-less window. Their best customer service solution was to promise store credit after donating the items and providing them with proof of donation. So the best solution to a botched "custom" order is go find a donation place, donate your blinds, and then, maybe then we will give you store credit to order another set of blinds that we won't guarantee they will fit. I offered to return their blinds for a replacement or refund but they won't accept returns and will not do refunds. If you choose to purchase from SelectBlinds, my advice is read the fine print and hope for the best. My recommendation to you and what I will do in the future is to go to a more reputable company that has quality customer care. read more

This has been a night mare. They are not responsive and impossible to reach. I was given multiple revised production dates that were delays in receiving the blinds. When the 2nd delay was communicated via a no-reply email, I decided to cancel and find another company. I made contact and was reassured that the order was canceled. I never got an email to confirm and called again. Getting thru took over 40 minutes and was told again the order was canceled. Today I get an email stating the blinds are shipping. So sad that their company does not have a process to cancel and prevent this from happening. I will refuse delivery and file a credit card dispute. All of this could have been prevented if they would have canceled on my 1st request when there were production delays. I have over $750 tied up on my credit card due to their failure. Ordered my simple blind on 10/6. Should have been delivered a few days ago. Tried to call and was unable to talk to a person but directed to a text message. Text messaging response was quite slow and in the end they could not tell me what happened to my blinds. Instead, just said I should hear from someone in 1-2 business days and then disconnected. of course they have charged my credit card. I wonder if I will ever see blinds. We ordered 7 sets of dual/zebra shades from Select Blinds on 11/25/2022 and they were delivered 12/8/2022 Order number 8827291. When we had them installed, we received a call from our installer advising us that the blinds were all 10-12 inches too long This made no sense because we had purchased a total of 21 blinds previously from Select Blinds during 2022 and they were all cut to the exact length. Upon advising Select Blinds of the error, they asked for a series of pictures. Then they responded that the blinds were "supposed to be cut longer that what we ordered". Then on January 14 they back tracked and said the previous representative confused roller blinds with Dual/Zebra shades and the latter should have been cut to length. Then on January 18 they back tracked again, and advised that the blinds should have been cut too long and were therefore properly manufactured. My main issue is that my first 21 blinds were great, fit nicely, and customer service was responsive. Now, SELECT BLINDS HAS SWITCHED TO A TOTALLY DIGITAL SERVICE, so you cannot get one point of contact to discuss a problem and seek a resolution to the problem. Rather, you receive canned responses for someone or something In the meantime, I have 21 blinds that I love, and 7 blinds that are too long, with a company that will not remedy their error. read more

SELECT BLINDS MAY BE THE WORST EVER One Blind worked, but it was monumental to program it. The second blind did not come with a plug or wiring to charge it up. And then it would not work at all, even though fully charged with the plug from the other blind. Each blind was supposed to come with a plug and wiring. Horrible customer service and a horrible experience getting help. My story: I purchased some Neo Smart Blinds, motorized blinds 2 days ago that I ordered and I ordered a smart connect Wi-Fi connector that cost almost $200 to utilize the blinds on my Alexa. Of course it didn't work at all. I contacted customer service and they sent a link to chat with them on text only. They do not provide live customer service at all and the individual said that the smart bridge they sold me does not work with those blinds which they sold me at the same time. I said why did you sell me something that didn't work with it he said you should've read the fine print so no refunds, no exchanges, then silence. Stay away from these people they are unbelievably bad as well as passive aggressive. When I finally told the guy that I had no choice but to leave a bad review, he started acting real nice to cover his previous bad behavior,but of course, still didn't provide any customer care or service at all but continued to play games and set me up. Unbelievable. Do not deal with Select Blinds or you will be so sorry if anything goes wrong I've ordered lots of motorized blinds from Serena shades. They're more expensive, but they work very well. One of the Neo shades I bought from Select Blinds, as mentioned, doesn't work at all and I've had to file a warranty claim but I've heard nothing. It's been a telling experience. I completely wasted money and time which they have basically stolen from me. Stay completely away from these people.
