My custom blinds were at no least 4 inches past my window sill. I contacted Select Blinds and they said a 5 inch deviation is acceptable. These blinds are junk and certainly not custom. I asked for 52 inch long blinds not 56!!! Horrible product read more

Terrible customer service. I was honest with the chat person that I wanted to cancel my order and place two orders to save $200 on a buy one get one free promotion. The customer service agent said she wouldn't cancel the order and would have to talk with management. Apparently the buy one get one free was one per household. She didn't tell me that. I still could have place two orders and saved the $200 because I have two addresses. I think that is a win- win. They get a happy customer with two orders and I save money. But no, customer service would not cancel. After calling, emailing and trying to text they finally called me back and I was able to cancel. I ended up buying from a different blind company, saved my extra $200 and now they get a bad review. If that one agent would have canceled my order, all of this could have been avoided. Now, I would never go back and let people know not to expect much from this company. read more

Hit a snag on mounting and it has been a runaround to get help. Maybe 3rd shipment will work out. I can't recommend their process.

The product is actually pretty good, looks good and is reasonably priced. HOWEVER ---- it's hard to describe their customer service since it's nearly non-existent. I had to send a photograph of an item in order to receive a replacement since they could not understand information about their own product. We purchased motorized blinds, which were extremely difficult to install and the instructions were almost unintelligible. The remote arrived with an almost dead battery and that's no fun to diagnose and repair. Then one of the four blinds ordered failed to work. You spend endless minutes on the phone on hold, or you get a message during regular, published open hours that they're closed for "training". Or you send an email, only to be told it will be days before you receive a reply (likely from someone who will need a picture!). There must be a better company with which to do business who can provide a decent product along with responsive customer service. Beware of Select Blinds! read more

Rip off! I followed directions on website and got blinds that were too short. They didn't care and said I had to reorder. Stay away!!!

If I could select a half star I would. For 3-1/2 months I've been emailing them trying to correct their error. I ordered 4 cellular shades in taupe and they came with white handles and end caps even though their website says they will match hardware to fabric. I sent them back to have corrected and they sent them back 3 weeks later repackaged and still white handles and end caps. I know it possible to match as I ordered 2 identical shades 6 months prior and they were perfect. Now I've been trying for 35 days to get them to send me return labels (they call then call tags for some reason) but none yet. They did agree to refund my money once the blinds are returned but I'm sure than will be another fight. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Spend the time to have a local reputable company do your blinds. Its a shame; as an Interior Designer I've ordered from them before and recommended them to clients for at least 15 years and never one complaint. Thank goodness that screwed up on my order and not a clients. read more

I've never been treated so poorly in regards to a simple customer service. My order was canceled well in advance of their policy (which was not clearly show on when placing the order or on their main website). Their production team and internal functions of taking orders are not in sync. I am a previous customer of select blinds and was treated like a complete outsider during all of my efforts to cancel an order and showed them good faith... this has been so frustrating and I will be reaching out to a legal representative in order to attempt this wrong to be righted. read more

Look elsewhere if you want a Quality product and customer service!! When I ordered top down, bottom up pleated shades from Select Blinds, I anticipated a durable and user-friendly product and expected that the shades would hang level. However those anticipations and expectations were just that and the reality is I received pleated shades that are NOT durable or user-friendly and that DO NOT hang level. Unfortunately, I did not read company reviews prior to placing my order. I am now personally seeing and experiencing the bait and switch tactics that is so prevalent in reviews for their products and customer service. I would certainly recommend spending a little more to get a quality product. You will not get that from Select Blinds. read more

The company website claimS they have 90%+ satisfaction. This is a lie. I believe they delete the bad ones. Based on reviews on this site and my own experience with them, this company's customer service is horrible and their quality is terrible. I ordered blinds for my living room and bedrooms. They arrive separately different time and with separate Fedex delivery no. Company had advised me of only one. Once I finally received them (and after numerous calls which they could not help me - didn't know why) I noticed one of the handles were made on the wrong side. And after my handyman installed them, and I tried to pull them up, the string broke!!! I called them, they said they'll put a rush on replacing them. It took 2 weeks to get them (rush????). Also Brady - customer service person promised me to refund my handyman fee - which I had to have him redo. I sent emails about it to him. NEVER HEARD BACK!!! Seriously the worst! If you have a simple project, sure they're okay. But if you have something complex, their instructions are inaccurate and they refuse to be accountable for misleading information. A complex problem gets moved over to email, and they take four days to respond with a cut a paste reiteration of what they already said. Customer services seem to have no understanding of how their own hardware works or what their measurement instructions entail. I just wasted $700 here. read more

If I could I would give this company a 0 out of 5. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called, I emailed, I tried to "live" chat. No one ever got back to me ---only the automated email reply. After almost a month, I finally spoke with a rep. I told her that I would not hang up until my problem was solved--they sent the wrong color for some and all the valances were a different color that the shades. She insisted that her supervisor was in a meeting! Laughable huh?. After telling her multiple times that I wouldn't hang up until I spoke with someone who could help, Zack came on the line. He said he would have his supervisor call me back in ten minutes... You guessed it , she never called! I thought I was on a hidden camera show. So unbelievable! Now my husband tries as well. He gets so frustrated that he posted a plea on Facebook asking everyone he knows to never use this company due to poor customer service.... Funny, we received a call the next day from them.....It took a few more emails and photos. Then they told me to just donate some and return some. Really? I don't want to deal with their mistakes! I sent them all back. Let them deal with them. By the way, I have saved all the emails.etc.. and never was there an apology for their bad service... read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Placed an order for one simple set of small blinds and when I called 4 days later to check on the status I was told it would be 2 more weeks for the delivery to be made. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that "one was not available" but that if I left my number they would call me back within 48 hours. Seriously?? And then I was told that if I wanted to cancel my order there would be a 25% restock charge. Then I was told that at 4:30 in the afternoon, the production department was closed. Seriously???. Horrible customer service and horrible cycle time. And horrible management. Cant wait for someone from their "management team" to call me back. Seriously, don't place an order with this company. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. After receiving my first set of blinds I realized that I had misjudged the length, I accepted this as my fault. So when I tried to call and talk to them about the second set I ordered no one answers the phone and you get an automated robot that asks you to leave your number and you will get a call back, NEVER. So I go back to the phone and call and sit on hold for a very long time until the line just hangs up on me. I realize that many people can keep trying to get back on the phone and wait but I run a very busy office and do not have that luxury. I got an email about a back order so I try again to cancel this order this time I go to the chat and speak to Gabe. He tells me he can cancel my order and I think that this is over, no I come in today and have an email telling me that my order has shipped. Now they say that sorry for the inconvenience but you are stuck with these, no other solution. I would never recommend this company and will never use them again. read more
