Purchased a pair of pleated-fold panels for a bay window. The curtain fabric is of good quality but the panel hooks are plastic and somewhat brittle. The hooks are also fused into the curtains and cannot be replaced. On one panel, the hook was completely missing, on the other, the hook snapped when it was attached to the curtain rod. The company has sent replacement hooks but have not addressed how to replace the current hooks that are fused into the panels. At this point, I have two panels that are not completely attached to the rod.

Several customer service agents lied to me about the status of my order and the blind I received looks nothing like the photo on their website. I ordered a bamboo blind that appeared thick, rectangular, and opaque in the image on their website. Instead, I received mesh-like blinds that are completely see-through, especially at night, nothing like the picture I called customer service and was told to email a photo, which I did, but I've received no response.

Shades arrived in absolutely horrible condition. My order was $1500 and some of the boxes were ripped open, one arrived wet and one completely ripped open with a garbage bag taped around it. I have complained and sent pics, customer service keeps giving me the run around, requested more pics and more time to resolve. Hasn't even offered a partial credit. DO NOT ORDER FROM SELECT BLINDS!!!

I ordered blinds for my cabin and was hesitant because of the mixed reviews, so I started small with just a few windows. It took longer than I expected to receive my order (close to a month) but the blinds were the exact right measurement and good quality. They were incredibly easy to install and I love them. I was so happy, I just placed another order for the rest of the windows. Yay for a win! read more

We've ordered multiple Coastal Roman Shades in Textured Ivory - some with the standard liner and others with the blackout liner. We've used this exact color before and were confident in what to expect. However, this time we were extremely disappointed to find a significant color difference between the shades. Even without sunlight coming through, the interior-facing color of the shades is drastically different depending on the liner type (both of which were ivory). There was no indication on the website that the liner would impact the color so dramatically, which made this especially frustrating. To make matters worse, we've spent hours on the phone with customer service, trying to resolve the issue. We were told multiple times that a supervisor would call us back, but we've never received a follow-up - despite repeated requests. The lack of accountability and follow-through has been incredibly frustrating, especially as repeat customers who have always appreciated Select Blinds in the past. Because of the drastic color mismatch, the blinds don't match and can't be used as intended in our space. At this point, it feels like a complete waste of money. We're shocked by the lack of accountability and wish Select Blinds would stand behind their product and customer satisfaction guarantees. Avoid mixing liner types if you order these - or better yet, consider ordering elsewhere if you want dependable customer service. read more

These are essentially disposable blinds. They will ALL fail within 2-4 years. They come with a 3-year warranty that can be extended to 5 years. If you decide to go with them, EXTEND THE WARRANTY. The internal mechanisms will break, and your home will almost always have at least 1 broken blind, waiting for the warranty repair. The replacements might not match your original order, as they sometimes discontinue the blinds. In addition, recently they've started waiting 2-3 weeks to respond to all warranty replacement requests, meaning you'll have that one broken blind for quite a while before the replacement comes, or before you need to buy a new one. read more

Absolutely don't waste your money with Select Blinds. I have had so many issues. The biggest is my I ordered 4-2.5 inch Architect wood blinds, 2 in Light Brown and 2 in Slight White. I had them in my cart and somehow, the sales person or the manufacture took it upon themselves to change the order to 2.5" Luxe Faux Wood blinds in Natural Texture(terrible color) and Alabastar Smooth. Also, one of the Natural Texture blinds were not cut enough width wise and do not fit. As for the Levelor Roller Shades, all four shades were cut width wise at least an inch to short. I purchased the additional FIT warranty for $9.95 each totaling $39.96. I would have thought that would mean they would fix the cut with a picture showing how ridiculous they look; NOPE, they are wanting picture after picture and still have no resolution on any of the blinds I ordered. read more

Where do I start. First, I like the blinds. They are different, I like the way they stack to one side. They were very easy to install with the hardware included. You did have to make sure to remove all of the packaging material (even between the Velcro clips and the track hangers, a little strip of rubber like material). Other than that, it is easy. Second, I have the motorization version. It's okay. It's very loud. The instructions are not clear about how to set up the end stops (unfortunately, you'll have to Google that). Once you get that down, then it's good for what it is. The remote is RF 2.4ghz. So, you cannot connect it to any smart system (again, I've Googled that as well). I had to use to push button smart devices (Smartbot) and create a special holder for the remote and 2ea-Smartbots to control the blinds with automation. A little convoluted, but it does work reliably. I could remove the remote if I still wanted manual control over them. And lastly, the bad. Selectblinds as a company are trash. All till now I am still waiting for my correct battery and the remote that I purchased with my blinds. I have a battery that is for roller blinds and a remote that is only 1 channel, not the 5 channel that I've ordered. I've talked with them on the phone, I've chatted with them online and I've emailed them. I hate horrible customer service. Especially if I paid this much money for a product and do not get the service with it. Right now, I have a 24v plug in power supply that I was able to find amongst my stuff and am using that to power my blinds. HOWEVER, there is an unsightly cord going from my outlet to the blinds, not what I imagined. I guess I need to find my own battery and pay MORE money for something that should have come with what I've purchased. I don't know what to say, like the blinds, hate the service. read more

DO NOT Waste your time or money. These are very expensive options when you could have a local professional come out and do a better job - As a professional who works with clients, I have been buying shades for years (and doing my own measurements) and recently bought an older home that needs new shades and thought I would try the No Drill blinds from Select Blinds. I only ordered less expensive no drill shades for two small windows to first see how the Select Blinds performed. There were three things wrong with the shades themselves - the no drill device was great - but the shades were horrible and the customer service was nearly non existent. First - The shades were cut wrong Second - one shade wasn't rolled properly and Third - the other shade would not stop properly at the bottom. The Select Blinds specifications for the deductions are completely unclear and not transparent, they are BURIED in a ton of details (you have to literally click on about 4 links to find it) and while mine STILL didn't even meet that standard, they first started with that excuse (despite having paid for the measurement fee) so they first used that as an excuse. Then for the other problems, they have made up other excuses. It has been almost a week and I did not even get an acknowledgement of the warranty claim and the Customer Service is VERY painful. Use a professional. I have used 3 day blinds with significantly better results and will look for a local professional before I order for all the other windows (28) I have. read more

I WOULD NOT recommend SelectBlinds if you expect responsive customer service. I was looking for more affordable blinds and stumbled on SelectBlinds. First, I made a mistake by not researching them before buying. The negative reviews about their customer service seem accurate. After you make a purchase, they email a link to track the order. This tracker was never updated for my order. So, after two weeks I contacted them to get an update. I called and used the website chat window but communicating with a person did not happen. After waiting 30 minutes on chat (15 on phone), I gave up. Eventually, someone did contact me with an order update. Then came the next mistake. The fabric quality is good enough but the hardware is junk. And the fabric easily frays. One blind has a malfunctioning tension cord and one of the mounting latches won't stay shut. So, it's now difficult to open two, of my three, blinds. These weren't the most expensive blinds, and you get what you pay for, I guess. They look nice, but they are no good if they don't work right out of the box. Also, my blinds were shipped from outside the US, so you may currently have issues with getting them shipped. read more

I give SelectBlinds zero stars. My experience with SelectBlinds is awful. If your blinds fit and you don't need any help from them then you might be ok- though I am not sure even about that. However, if you need help, well, forget it. Their customer service feels like a terrible AI assistant wishing to waste your time and keep on asking for things they already have (like photos of the labels on the items- it should be in their database already). And when you upload photos, you get all these silly restrictions on file size, etc. The customer service NEVER answered a question with a simple answer of Yes or No, they just keep creating more things to request you send them. And when I thought we already moved to the next step, they go back and make the same request over again. I am throwing the blinds in the trash and losing the money-- but lesson learned when it comes to them. Please don't be fooled, SelectBlinds claims 100% satisfaction guaranteed, it is like 0.0%. read more

Overall price is right. I can't open mine. Mechanism is not great. I got exactly what I expected for the price. Everything made of plastic, thin and somewhat flimsy but looks ok in my case (narrow 18" windows). I had to take off starts just because they do not work as intended. To open blinds you suppose to lift the base slightly (there is no string), but both blinds simply won't open. Finally both blinds are 2 inch longer (3 extra slats) for some reason. In conclusion, I got what I expected, wish mechanism would actually work or they made it clear that there is no string to operate them. This is the biggest design flow of these blinds in my opinion. Strange that I can't leave feedback on their website. It just gives generic error and asks to try again. read more

I ordered blinds for my living room, dining room, kitchen and office. WORST blinds ever! When lifted, they are not even no matter how hard I try, valances are a joke - too short. I reached out several times to get them fixed -= I get a response with "we will get back to you with a solution" crickets, no response, nothing. The blinds are poorly made and a joke! RUN - DO NOT purchase from this company! I wasted over $3,000 on this loser company - my bad for not researching reviews! read more

Omg, I warn you not to buy from this company. The customer service is awful. No one will answer the phone and it takes days till they answer a text or email. Then when you finally get someone to talk to you you have to explain everything all over again because the ticket number changed. It's been hell for a week. They don't even deserve 1 star. I'm throwing the blinds in the trash. Don't be fooled like I did. DONT BUY YOUR BLINDs FROM HERE. they say it's guaranteed but nope. The blinds that don't use screws DO NOT WORK and they will void your warranty if you use different tape then what they gave you so they don't have to fix the problem. Then they tell you the measurements are wrong and that voids the warranty. Pretty much say everything so that they don't have to fix or repair your blinds. Hate to say it but even walmart blinds are better. read more

I recently was treated like dirt by Select Blinds. I ordered soft fold Roman shades online in Laura Ashley fabric, then realized I had not added the liner. I called and got a design consultant. He wasn't sure if the blinds were in production, but said he'd check and get back to me. Since I called him, it was on a recorded line. He called me back the next day and told me the shades were NOT in production and it was NOT too late to change my order. Then he noted that soft fold shades could not be lined. This is where the problem started. He SHOULD have advised me that my shades should be lined to look right and hang properly. I did not receive this advice (what else is a design consultant for?), so I elected to go with the soft fold and no liner. The shades arrived the other day. They are cheap and flimsy. The fabric is one step above a sheer and light pours through. They don't hang properly. The stitching to the cords puckers like crazy. I could have done a better sewing job in my sleep! The shades are not acceptable from a design/looks standpoint AND and from a craftsmanship standpoint. Also, why can't soft-fold shades be lined? I see them like that all the time. I called to ask if I could send the blinds back to be lined and reset as straight fold. Oh, foolish me. Select Blinds customer service is a JOKE. The person I spoke with made NO effort to resolve the issue. He read a canned script and told me it was my fault. He would not let me speak with a manager. He insisted that I give him the date when I called, which I did. Apparently my incoming call was reviewed, but either: 1) the outgoing call where I was told it was NOT too late to change the blinds wasn't reviewed; or 2) both calls were reviewed, but Select Blinds LIED to me, saying they had it on record that my shades were already in production and it was too late to change. That, friends, is a straight-up lie. Shouldn't design consultants have enough sense to ADVISE customers? Select Blinds makes MORE money if shades are lined, so even if the poor guy didn't know fabric from a hole in the ground, perhaps UPSELLING would be a good idea? All I asked was to send the shades back (at my expense) and have them lined (at my expense). They wouldn't even let me do that. That's bad enough, but calling their customers liars is beyond the pale. read more

100% worse online purchase experience I have had in several years. Zero customer support outside of a call center with no clue. Pro Tip: This clown show sells nothing you can't purchase at home improvement stores for the exact same price but, the home improvement store is money back guarantee and you will have customer service. We had to wait 6 weeks for a $2400 order and the company would NOT respond to any contact except the 1800 number where you talk to a nice person on the other side of the planet that has no authority... just takes notes. Worse company experience in many years and will never use them again. read more

I ordered 7 blinds from selectblinds.com, 4 of them were just fine. 3 of them have chains that was longer than the blind itself. Their website says that beaded chains are no longer than 70% of the height of the blind. They did not adhere to their own standards. Now, if I have to secure the chain outside of the window, it will rub against the wall and damage my walls. They told me the chains cannot be shortened, I will have to order new blinds. I did not ask for long chains, so I believe they should be sending me new blinds with proper chain lengths, free of charge. read more

I have placed several orders with Select Blinds, and while their products and prices are great, their customer service is extremely disappointing. My most recent order arrived with missing brackets, so I contacted customer service and filed a claim. I waited 10 days--nothing. When I called back, they said they were waiting for my online confirmation, which I had already submitted. Another 10 days passed--still nothing. After multiple follow-ups and delays, I was told my replacement brackets were finally ready to ship. A week later--still no shipment. When I called again, they wanted to start the entire process over from the beginning! At this point, I was beyond frustrated and demanded they send the brackets overnight. After spending half an hour on the phone, the agent assured me they would ship within two days. But once again, I was misled--two days later, I received an email stating they had just shipped and would take another 4-5 days to arrive. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. The lack of follow-through, constant delays, and false promises make me question whether I will order from this company again. If you value reliable customer service, beware. read more

As other folks have stated the customer service is HORRENDOUS. I ordered one roman shade and it was longer than the length I ordered. They will just beat you down asking for pictures, then vidoes, then more of the same pictures. Round and round you go. "We will have a supervisor call you back within 24 hours". Nope failed there too. I have wasted WAY too much time on the phone with these jerks and it starts to feel like its designed this way, to just frustrate you into submission so you give up on your claim. I have a dozen more windows that need blinds, guess where I will NOT be ordering them from. Awful. read more

Wish I could leave negative stats!!!!!!!!!! I placed an order on 9/17/25 and it is still not here. according to ups it's stuck in customs for 15 days now. the company claims to be in Arizona so why is my order coming from Vietnam?????????? their website says 5-8 days shipping. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY OVER A MONTH FROM OVERSEES!!!!!!!!!! company making me wait longer while "they look into" shipping. this is ridiculous. if something is going to take months to arrive then that should be listed on website! they have their two days they ARE FORCING me to wait then I'm disputing on my cc. I ordered eight white shades, but they turned out to be gray! The plastic parts look completely different from the website, where they appeared white. One of the brackets for the larger shade is oversized and sticks out several inches. That same shade also doesn't work properly, and another one arrived in the wrong size. To top it off, customer service was terrible--they refused to offer any reimbursement. Extremely disappointed with these unattractive shades! read more

Hoo boy, where do I begin... Ordered from this company several years ago and the cellular shades have stood the test of time. The product seems to be good, but the website is a bit sketchy now, in my opinion. Here's why: - Saw a price online when searching for cellular shades yesterday for $19.19 each (40% off) for their Essential collection. Clicked on the link, got to the website and added the shades to the cart. Price was correct UNTIL it got to the checkout page. The price for 3 I ordered, which should have been $66, had ballooned to $186. Tried it again - same thing. - Another annoyance is that when you click on the photo of the shades, there is one pic that shows that there are 5 different honeycomb cell sizes (from 3/8" to 2" folds). I couldn't find a way to select the size I wanted so called customer service. They told me that if you want the smallest size, there are only 2 options, even though the photo shows something different. Even on the options she said were available, I could not find a way to select a particular cell size. - Today, the same shades I was looking to order yesterday are available for BOGO free but they are now $51 each lol. I just can't win! So needless to say, I'm out. Perhaps you will have a better experience but purchasing should not be this difficult. read more

Very happy, beautiful real wood blinds. Whole process is easy, text and phone support was great. I've seen the bad reviews, but I am ecstatic, Whole room is transformed. Will use again. If not sure of measurements, ask, call, they are very friendly and helpful. read more

I have ordered from Select Blinds a few times in the past. Have always been pleased even though they have never shipped as soon as promised. My current order is for a small bathroom blind. Placed on 8/4/25 and should have been shipped on the 8th. So far the order status is still only order placed. Today is the 16th of August. I contacted customer service which to me sounds like it is outsourced. No judgement, just hard to understand. Tried calling as well as online chat. The online chat was absolutely horrible even when i got through the AI piece. I also called. No one could tell me anything other than the order was placed, well dah! I can see that which is why I contacted customer service. They are supposed to call back in 24 hours or so. I am doubtful. Sad, as I really liked the company in my previous dealings. read more

Is there an option for ZERO stars? I've had nothing but problems with this company that began with a replacement blind sent to me that simply did not work. Every chat says they'll sent a note to the production facility and they'll get back to me. I've filed multiple disputes and they continue to not resolve it. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I was going to order 49 cellular blinds. I ordered 2 to make sure I liked the product and get the right color. I got about 30 sample swatch colors to make sure I picked the correct color. I ordered 2 blinds in a color they called whisper(off white color). The blinds came and they were the wrong color I wanted. I called my sales rep and they were going to have 3 people review the phone call. The 3 people said they reviewed my call and it was not their fault. I sent a few emails saying I was ready to order 49 cellular shades I just want to make sure I was getting the correct color. They said there was more than 1 whisper color. I told them that that was never explained to me and if I can just get the 2 in the correct whisper color I was ready to order 49 more. I asked the supervisor Angel to call me. Angel never called me back, That happened yesterday. Today I emailed and said I wanted to order 49 cellular shades. They put the order of 49 cellular shades in and if I'm ready to order I could get a discount. I said yes and Angel called me today. I explained my problem with Angel and told him I was very disappointed that he did not call me back yesterday to try to resolve my problem. He said he was sorry and but he could not help me. I told him you just lost this 15K sale by not returning my call yesterday and resolving a small issue. I said thank you and I hung up. Angel called me back 2 minutes later and said they would send me the 2 new blinds and they were sorry. Customer service does not live up to their promises. When I installed my blinds I discovered that I only had one wand for two blinds. Called June 30th, customer support wasn't sure how to request a wand, but promised me they would take care of it and I would see an email in 24 to 48 hours with a shipment date. On July 9, I had not seen an email and did not see any updates too my account on their website, so I called again. This time they did add an order I could see on the website, which was supposed to ship on the 11th, and I would get an email when shipped. That order stayed in the same status. On July 25, I called again and got the same answer, no idea why it had not shipped, but they would find out asap and I would see an email in 24 hours. That was 2 days ago, still nothing, no email on when it will ship or why it taking so long. So I guess I'm making my 4th call Monday. read more

Product seems to be OK. Customer Service is terrible. I had a question about installation of the tension bracket. Sat on hold for 21 minutes listening to how VERY IMPORTANT my call was. But I guess not important enough for them to answer. After 21 minutes I finally contacted someone. Obviously, Select Blinds has outsourced customer service to an off-shore company. English was terrible. Knew nothing about the product at all. Useless! Tried CHAT. No help either. Wanted me to send in a video of my issue. I will never buy from Select Blinds again. read more

I ordered 2 motorized shades w/o remote and 2 motorized shades with 6 channel remotes. I paid the "with remote" premium for both of the shades I ordered with remote. They sent me 4 shades and 1 remote and say I don't get the second remote. What they sent me was what I would get if I had ordered 3 shades w/o remote and 1 shade with remote. And it would have cost less because only 1 blind would have had the "with remote" cost premium. They refuse to send me the second remote. Hours of calling and waiting and waiting and calling, and promises of callback from a supervisor but I never get a call. I am now disputing the credit card transaction. TOTAL NIGHTMARE. read more

Not impressed. Had a broken chain for a roller blind 2 months out of warranty and they have not responded in 4 days with whether they can provide a replacement or the size of the chain so I can order a connector. read more

BE AWARE: Cheaply built and head and bottom rail are completely different color than the blinds Read the complaints on the Better Business Bureau's website. Wish I had done that. I've had these blinds a month. I put them in the down position after work hours and have them all the way up during the day. The head and bottom rail are at least 10 shades darker in color than the blinds. I've been purchasing blinds for 40 years and have never seen this. And even though this is not stated anywhere on the website and, and even though this huge color difference is not viewable in the pictures on the site, and even though the customer person I worked with to order them never mentioned this, they don't let you return them for this reason. Also, they are very cheaply built. When you pull down on the shade, the shade won't stay down. It keeps popping up about an inch. you have to lower it, then hold it for about 10 seconds, then it will pop up, then hold for another 10 seconds, and then repeat that a few times and finally they will stay down. If you want to pull the blinds all the way up, it is difficult to do that. They won't go all the way and you end up shaking them and pulling up and down a bunch of times and finally they'll go all the way up. Last, the plastic lift clip they give you to attach to the bottom rail only attaches to the front of the rail. It doesn't latch onto the back of it like every. other. shade. ever. made. in. the. history. of. these. types. of. blinds. So when you push them up or pull them down, the entire front of the shade gets yanked forward making it difficult to pull them up or down. I don't even use it anymore. I put both hands on either end of the shade and pull up and down that way. And that's a pain, I shouldn't have to do that. I worked a long time to make sure I got the correct shades which included spending a lot of time with customer service only to be so frustrated with the final product in the end, especially given how expensive they are. read more

Warning: Terrible Quality and Nonexistent Customer Service! Avoid at All Costs! I had an absolutely horrendous experience with this online store, and I feel compelled to share it with others to spare them from the same nightmare. The product I received was nothing short of a disaster. The material used was of such poor quality that it felt like it would disintegrate at the slightest touch. This marks my third purchase with Select Blinds, and I have generally been pleased with the outcomes. However, my recent order of sleek roman shades has left me disappointed. While the pattern and overall quality are commendable, a significant oversight occurred--they failed to sew in the final pleat. Consequently, when I roll up the shade, I'm left with an excessive length of material covering one-third of my open window. This not only defeats the purpose of having open blinds but also diminishes the overall aesthetic, making what should be a quality product appear cheap and unprofessional. Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the production team, I received a response indicating that there were no issues with the blinds. An apology for the "inconvenience" was provided, but they are refusing to remedy the problem. This experience has not only resulted in a substantial financial loss but also requires me to seek an alternative solution for my windows.
