We have had a very good experience. We bought a Nissan in July 2019 - very low miles and very clean. At the time of purchase we did write a due bill into the purchase. I was told the part had been ordered. Didn't hear anything proactively from our original salesperson, so after a couple of months I reached out. Didn't hear anything at first. Then I spoke with Bill, provided him a copy of the due bill, and he has been very attentive about getting the repair work done. I went to look at a toyota they had advertised on CL. When I arrived, Leo S. greeted me and got the key while I looked it over. I liked the fact they provide a carfax so I knew somewhat to expect. I was fairly impressed with the Rav4, but their were a couple issues that I felt needed attention. Leo was willing to listen and seemed very professional. I explained I needed time to consider the purchase. As we were walking to the front, Mike A., the manager, happened by. Leo explained my concerns to Mike, and Mike listened attentively. In the end, Mike agreed to take care of my issues, such as installing different tires and fixing a tire pressure monitor on one of the wheels that was defective. I was also able to negotiate a better price. I feel I was treated very well and with honesty and respect. Mike and Leo were really a lot of fun to work with. Very disappointed. Nobody seemed to care about the value of there customers. Had my car going on 3 months and from the day I drove it off the lot there was a broken gas cap cause nobody thought to look at the gas tank or even put gas in the car. The door handle broke 2 days later they sent me a new handle but for the opposite door and the completely wrong color. They told me they wouldn't pay for labor to get the handle fixed cause the already ran through the funds putting 2 new tires on it to fix the fact it needs new struts. Since then problems keep getting worst by the day. When I called to voice the issues I got the run around well here I am 3 months in and still have no title paperwork. My time tags expired on the 6th of oct and I can't drive my can with out tags. I am in a different state cause I moved the end of sept and they are taking there time getting me my paper work. read more

Horrible experience. We bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty for our 16yr old son. We gave it to him and he was soooo excited. Unfortunately, we keep finding issue after issue. We just got it back from the shop today after spending $1000 for new brake pads, rotors, etc. We still have a list of items that need to be taken care of $4000 in total. This reputable shop cannot believe a "dealer" sold ya this car. We don't even have plates for it yet and they are strongly suggesting we get rid of it. Horrible. Unethical. These guys are as dishonest as you can be. ALERT: Do not buy a car from these guys. Bill sold me a 2004 Ford F-350 Diesel. The truck leaked oil and so on the "we owe" document, they agreed to fix the leak. I left it with them for four weeks until I could pick it up and brought I home and it leaked oil all over my driveway. I called and took it down to them for another week, picked it up and it still leaks. I spoke to Joe over the phone and he pretty much told me there was nothing else they would do for me. He was rude and I will now be contacting my attorney to handle the matter. DO NOT buy a car here. read more

Worst car purchasing experience of my life. Had to have the AC unit replaced and have the head gaskets replaced before the car even has plates on it. Thank god I bought a warranty. Not to mention, there is a massive title issue and I have had to get extended temporary plates. Their title clerk however has been very helpful, she is the only one. She's great. Everyone else there passes me off to the next person or is condescending when I express my frustration. It's been frustrating and they simply have not been receptive or sensitive to how inconvenient and expensive this has been. It's sheer lack of customer service and I've felt alone in this entire process. The title issue was not their fault but I had to call them to learn that there was even a problem in the first place. Had I not called, my plates would have just expired and I would have been out of luck. The entire process has bummed me out. read more

Zero stars if I could rate it accordingly! If you would like to purchase a "sound, "reliable" car... go elsewhere! We recently purchased an Acura MDX from Zack & Joe at this dealer. We were assured the car was in their exact words, "sound" & "tight". Within days at home our driveway has puddles of oil & makes a terrible sound when turning. Not the signs of a sound, reliable or tight car. After an inspection at our local dealer, both of the CV boot axels & the power steering boot had to be replaced ASAP! We contacted the sales guy Zack & after excuses, milling around, etc we contacted the owner. That didn't make Zack too happy & he was livid. His texts were not professional & an embarrassment to great car sales people out there. After being told they would make it right, (even though we signed an "As Is document- no wonder you need to sign an As Is from this place) 1 month later- no dice! We've spent $900 now and have NEVER had such a terrible experience with a dealer. If mechanics had checked over this car as assured by their sales staff- this matter SHOULD BE DISCLOSED. It never was. We have also purchased a used Lexus 400h from the Colorado Springs dealership & it has been a dream compared to Select! Don't waste your money or trust this establishment. At first they were awesome and then felt after going through the financial things ... they were very rushing and of course had made promises that weren't kept... like replacing my windshield and I bought the car in February and they keep blaming the weather ... I gave up now and putting a review up ... that I felt like I was being taken as a joke and they just wanted to sell a car to me ... and I had to ask them to put in brake lights and fog lights ... also the sub and amp weren't working ... felt like there was a lot of attitude with zach. Notice to anyone considering purchasing a used car from Select Auto Group out of Sheridan, Colorado. "Walk away from this dealership as soon as you read this from the standpoint of defective autos that are not fully verified by a certified mechanic." I stand corrected, the owner assured me on the phone that his vehicles were quote, cleared by "Big O Tires" for safety issues. Since purchasing my vehicle online and being out of state, I had to rely on integrity and basically all the above, and closed my purchase in the process. Since having it delivered by transport, I've literally sunk over 3,000 dollars just to get it road worthy. And just today, June 24, 2020, the European Auto Technicians called me letting me know that there's an internal piece within the manifold area that indicates they repair that before it totally breaks off and into the engine causing further damage. So yes, Run, do not walk away from this dealership.... I've had to replace front struts, sway bar and bushing's, and the list goes on. Again, $3,000 over purchased price. And all the owner could stated to me relentlessly was, quote, "I'm sorry you had a bad experience...." My take on all this, he hasn't a clue what he's selling product wise. Unreal read more

Terrible, terrible experience. Since the day I have bought my car it has been nothing but a problem. Check engine lights, oil leaks, and now the car is stalling out while driving. I have yet to even register the car and it is currently parked in the garage because it is unsafe to drive. I have been in touch with an attorney to see what my options are because the guys at the dealership are really hard to work with once you sign the contracts. This is not my doing and the dealership should be responsible for selling unsafe vehicles. If you do buy a car with them, do your homework and get it inspected by a trustworthy mechanic, because these guys are the definition of "sleazy used car salesman". Got my car and the process was ok. I had issues with my gas door and wipers not sitting properly. No one seemed to care. Was told to come and see lot manager and that he would know I was coming. Got there, and he had no clue I was coming or why. Was told he would get back to me... I haven't heard from anyone. The lack of service and lack of caring for the customer after they get their car sale is disgusting. Not impressed. Also, no one bothered to follow up with me and see how I liked the car I bought. I HONESTLY DO NOT RECOMMEND SELECT AUTO GROUP WHEN TRYING TO BUY A VEHICLE. Read my review and see why. This place is the most dishonest place to buy a car ever. I spent $8,500 on a 2007 Chevy Uplander. When i first drove it it seemed like everything was working ok, but that was because i did not drove tested on the highway. After a week of having the van with me we drove it on the high way, but to our surprise we noticed that the transmission was not shifting normal on second gear. I right away took it to mechanical shop where they found more then one problem. It needed rotors, it had an oil leak, but the worst thing is that it needed a TRANSMISSION. The quote to fix all those problems was $6,200 (which is about 2 thirds of the price of the van). I called Select Auto Group to see if they could help me out with some of the costs and they very RUDILY said NO! I was expecting some kind of help from them, after all I've only had the Vehicle for a week, but obviously that didn't happen. My sales person (Scott) did not even greeted or asked me what was going on with my vehicle. Now I'm stock with a worthless and unreliable van and with a $6,200 bill to fix it. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!!!! JUST DON'T. I purchased a 2010 Subaru from them in April 2016. When I test drive the vehicle, it was grinding while shifting into 4th gear so, they replaced the gearbox and put in what I thought was a new transmission. The transmission that was put in my car was actually a used transmission and failed on me after the 30 day warranty was up. I initially spoke to Zach who said he was going to "make it right". He continuously blew me off until this morning when the transmission dropped! Now, he's passing the buck onto the repair shop that replaced the tranmission before I even purchased the vehicle. Basically, I'm SOL! However, after reading other reviews, I feel somewhat lucky. This dealer is lying to people, disabling codes, and even forging financial documents. Simply put, this dealer's business practices are unethical and straight shady. Avoid a huge headache and overall finincial burden by taking your hard earned money elsewhere! read more

Great personalities, but the car I got is crap. Took about three weeks to rectify a check engine light. Had to replace the turbo. I told them that I didn't think I wanted to follow through with the purchase when something of that magnitude had to be fixed. I was told I had already paid for the vehicle, and I owned it. They were just "being nice" by fixing the issue. Finally took it home, and check engine light came back on within a few days. Called them up, and basically I was told it was my problem now. Within a few weeks of that, the traction control light came on. I have had issues ever since with the transmission. Found out the glove compartment was glued back together when it fell apart. Trunk release wouldn't release after a few days... had to replace that. I have literally put thousands into this car, and that's with buying their extended warranty. Seem like great folks, but I guess under it all, just another used car dealer. Gave them two stars because they were very personable. read more
