This place is a grift and 3rd world country level incompetence with 1st world country aesthetic. You show up to ask for help and the fat lady at the desk tells you they can't help you with ANYTHING until you call their hotline. Can't treat a bloody wound or anything. In her tone you can literally hear that she's eager to tell you why she's aloud to not exert herself at her job, in a medical facility, because of an administrative technicality. You ask her about other locations and alternatives and she utters with befuddled delirium that she doesn't know what any of the other policies are at their other locations. Eyes turned away from you, mind you. Turns out this is in fact NOT protocol for the Encinitas location, and they can help you if needed. You finally set up your appointment after leaving, going through 5 different automated phone-service forwards, and create an account with their tele health affiliate website, get a thousand text messages and email confirmations and pre check in documents, register accounts and fill out all the medical documents online to make their check in lobby smaller, show up, and the doctor apparently calls in a no-show for her "seeing new patients day". Apparently out in advance but the office doesn't even bother to contact you about it. Just a thousand confirmation reminders to make it seem like you're dealing with a competent organization. When i ask the fat desk lady why nobody contacted me before i arrived, she stares at her screen, as though reading from a script, doesn't answer the question, and regurgitates rescheduling protocol. When i ask about alternative appointments, she says i can go to an Urgent Care by true care. I ask: "If i go to an urgent care by true care, can i still meet with a gp to establish a relationship with true care? I have a condition that can't be treated at urgent care, i've tried." The overweight desk lady says "WHAT'S A GP?" This is how this person has handled every interaction i've had with this location. Often blatantly ignoring queries, responding with contradictory statements or scheduling information, and incapable of not sounding like an ai bot void of presence or competence. Bless her heart though, she seems rather gentle, but she should ABSOLUTELY NOT be employed at a critical service like healthcare. Anyways, when's the next available appointment? 1 month minimum. Nice. 2/10, the affiliate website was nice. Everything else is disgracefully incompetent, mildly autistic and/or intentionally difficult. There's a reason the historical rating on yelp is 2 stars.

Although the…read moreonline pre-screening process beforehand was frustrating, our experience once we arrived at the office was completely different. From beginning to end, everyone was warm, welcoming, patient, and informative. Jenni at the front desk and checkout was kind and helpful, Ivan was very patient and reassuring while administering the memory screening, and Andrew Inocelda, the PA, did an excellent job guiding us through the appointment, answering our questions, and explaining the evaluation process and next steps. An appointment involving memory concerns can be stressful and emotional, and I really appreciated the compassion, patience, and respect we were shown throughout the visit. We left feeling informed, supported, and very grateful for the care we received.

Coming from Boston, Ma where they are on top of your health! Whether it's a simple check up or a specialist, all of your drs communicate with each other, they don't leave it up to you to call these places to sit on hold for hours! I have multiple sclerosis and the care I have received has been absolutely terrible! It's wreaking havoc on my health. Since moving to Ca, my disease has progressed due to stress and lack of care/meds. Something needs to change as we are living in the most expensive state in the entire United States! GET IT TOGETHER!! I really need to find another Neurologist office!!

There's plenty of parking and an additional parking structure. They also have a very nice Urgent Care unit with a very nice triage team. My husband told me I got a letter in the mail stating that I was writing messages in my portal to my Drs. I thought the portal was used as a extra tool for Scripps when you do not go to appointments for your health and concerns. They threatened me that they would kick me out of Jefferson if i wrote anymore messages. Don't I have any patient's right for my healthcare to use the portal for questions and concerns when appointments are over two to three months in the future? I felt threatened and abandoned especially that I was recently discharged from the ER and needed some answers from lab work which I feel was not given by the ER Dr. On top of that I got a letter in my portal about missing and no show appts which I go all the time because I have other people drive me there so why is there such a mess when I feel I am threatened? Does anyone else have this experience with Scripps at this time with communication on portal, mail and no one replying to their messages on portal? Has anyne else been threatened to be kicked out even if they go to all drs appts on time and ask qs about their health???? Isn't that what Drs and nps are there for to help you and take care of your concerns in a professional manner???!

My younger sister isn't a physician I didn't know the devastating impact her decision would have on my health at that time period. I decided to take this Estrogen Medication called Prempro for (one year and a half) then I stopped taking this Medication because this Prempro caused me to contract a severe DVT means a (Deep Venous Thrombosis) in my Left Leg. I contacted Dr. Richard Saxon who is a Certified Radiologist who specializes in the Stenting process of inserting Stents in both my Right and Left Groin Area inside my body. Dr. Richard Saxon performed this Stenting Surgical procedure for the First Time on my Left Leg. My Stenting Procedure was very successful. I was his First Recipient. Also the Tri-City Radiologist Group has an amazing collection of physicians who I had a few procedures done with Dr. Donald Ponec who had inserted a IVC Filter in my Left Iliac Vein to keep my vein open on a permanent basis to prevent any New Blood Clots from traveling up to my Heart . Also Dr. Justin Gooding performed a similar procedure on the same left leg and this procedure was very successful with excellent results. I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to these Doctors at Tri- City Medical Center.

During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience. I would appreciate having someone from leadership contact me to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention.
