He prepares you for what to expect at each procedure and even lets you watch if you so desire. Nothing was painful. The worst part was administration of lidocaine and a few injections for removal of spider veins...but thatlasteonly a few seconds. He constantly asks how you are doing. Sue, the office administrator, is so friendly and welcoming. I am so glad a friend recommended him. Accidents happen but three errors is one week is a breakdown within the office policy. The office manager maybe would like to look at improvements on scheduling. In addition to flagging those patients who are dementia patients in the system - so that instructions and appts are addressed with the caregiver. I'd already been treated by a reputable vascular clinic and even have a stent, so I wanted to understand why I was still having symptoms. From the start, I didn't feel confident in the care. I explained to Dr. Jasmine Koo that those veins had already been treated, yet she still insisted on treating them again, something my primary vascular specialist later told me should NOT be done. When I went back to my original clinic, they confirmed there was no reflux and that my swelling is simply part of my lifelong condition. Months later, I was shocked to see bills showing insurance charges for appointments I never attended , totaling over $10,000, and now the office says I owe over $550! They are billing you for things like "radiology" and "office visit." It makes it worse that they said the first appointment was free. To make things worse, the clinic even offers a "review code" inside that gives free perks for leaving a 5-star review. My experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. I'm reporting this to my insurance company. Please be cautious and double-check any recommendations or charges before proceeding with this place. You'll also notice they are VERY hard to get ahold of. You have to go through leaps and bounds and are unable to get ahold of someone in the office.
