Went for a cleaning and checkup. Dr. Ho read the X-rays and informed me I had a cavity and he had to treated the cavity and probably put a crown on the tooth. I had no pain or symptoms and said that and Ho got belligerent and somebody to I me with an attitude. I k eft and schedule a second opinion with another large dentist office. After a second set of X-rays I was informed there is no cavity and needed nothing to be done to the tooth. In the stock market they call this "churning", the act of promoting unnecessary sales. I called Seidner to speak with Jo but he was too busy to come to the phone , and I never received a return call. read more

We moved to the area over a year ago and when I was looking for a new dentist, Seidner was the single most recommended office, especially for folks with anxiety. I can truly say they put your comfort above all. I came on a Friday for a consult with the doctor. I saw Dr. Shannon Ellermeyer and she had outstanding bedside manner and was kind and honest. She explained possible treatment options and they printed me pricing for both possibilities with a breakdown of insurance contribution. I scheduled with the front desk for the following Monday to actually come back for the work which could be either a filling or a root canal. They told me nitrous was complementary because my comfort was important. My mind was blown. I had literally never been offered nitrous, even when expressing anxiety about numbing injections to previous dentists. When I came back Monday, the appointment took about an hour but most of that was spent making sure I was comfortable before she started! With the nitrous I didn't even feel the injections and then she checked before she started the work. Outstanding. She told me what she was doing. I was lucky and it was just a filling and it was quick and efficient. The assistant even had chapstick and applied it for me when my lips got dry during! That was a really nice touch and one more way they made sure my physical comfort was taken care of. It was pouring the day I came and along with the umbrella I got as a new patient (that I had forgotten, OF COURSE!) they have a stash at the door for you to use and bring back the next time you come. I got back in two weeks for a cleaning and I can honestly say, I have no worries. Not even bad news could take away from how pleasant this office is. My friend recommended me to come to this office because she loves it so much and I totally agree! As soon as you walk into the office it smells so wonderful. The waiting area is very spacious and there are so many rooms. The dental tech Amanda was amazing the entire time. She made me feel comfortable and did the fastest Xrays, she is very proficient. Very friendly staff! The girls that work here are all so sweet. The waiting room and exam rooms are all very clean. All employees are wearing a mask and they check all patients temperatures as soon as you walk in. Not crazy about the price to have a root canal done but I don't have a choice, i have to keep myself beautiful for all my fans. read more

I've been a patient here since relocating to NJ in 2017. I've had good and bad dentists in the past, and given the bad experiences I am really selective with who I'll go to. I have only needed cleanings up until this point, but my streak recently ran out when cavities were found under my 15+ year old crown and on the tooth in front during my January cleaning. I was slightly nervous having never had any restorative work done here, but Dr. Kim is amazing! This is the first time I've had local anesthesia administered and didn't feel any of the injections. Not even a pinch! He and his assistant were wonderful, making sure I was comfortable and couldn't feel anything. I have had previous work done at other practices in other states where I could feel the drilling and pain so the procedure being painless is the most important part of the procedure experience. The fillings and fitting and placement of the temporary crown were pain free. I just got my permanent crown yesterday and it's definitely a step up from the old one in quality and fit. I had been experiencing some sensitivity at the site of the filling done 2 weeks ago that I had some concerns about. Dr. Kim took X-rays to assess the tooth and verify there was not infection or visible issues and concluded that it likely just needs some time to heal. He offered some medication which was applied to the area to help the process and made things much more comfortable. Dr. Kim is always so pleasant, thorough, and communicative. My husband and I see Jenn W for our routine cleanings; she's so gentle and checks in regularly to make sure you're comfortable throughout the cleaning. I highly recommend this practice, especially if you're concerned about experiencing pain. They will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable! read more

I've been going to Seidner for about a year now, seeing Dr Kim. The staff always seems to be in high spirits and is pretty friendly. The last time I went in for a cleaning the girl behind the counter and I struck up a conversation for a good 15 minutes about my Nook. I've had some work done here as well and they were pretty good, with no complaints from me. The office is beautiful. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The dental assistants were friendly and great. The dentist did a good job. He couldn't give me a concrete answer on a dental procedure that I needed an answer to. I do like that they gave me a breakdown of prices for certain procedures based on both of my insurances. I was able to be scheduled within the same week which is good considering I was a new client and needed an immediate appointment. My first time here was amazing! From the moment I walked into the door. My hygienist, Denise, made everything so comfortable. I'm an anxious person and going to the dentist makes me a nervous reck but she made sure it was a positive visit. She gave me the option of "Laughing Gas" to make me less nervous but she assured me that she'd be very gentle and that I'll do just fine without it. She was definitely right! Wonderful experience. After my cleaning, Dr. Sharbash showed up and reviewed my X-rays and went over some things that needed to be addressed. She explained everything in full detail and was super nice. They both gave me great advice on how to take better care of my teeth and gave me a big goodie bag! At the reception area, they gave me another goodie bag with a huge thermos to say welcome to the practice. Great place and I would definitely recommend everyone to check it out. read more

Superior experience! Lovely waiting area with a kids area and drinks (tea I think). Quick and easy check-in done with an iPad. I came for a filling and obviously was a little anxious because nobody likes dentist visits. The dental hygienist and dentist made sure I was comfortable by numbing my mouth and also giving me gas to add relaxation and take the edge off. It helped a lot! The filling was done very quickly and without any discomfort or pain. Not what I was used to in the past so I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend Dr Seidner he did a great job! read more

I've been going to Seidner dentistry for the last 3 years. They came very highly recommend from people in town and from clients at the salon I work at. Last week I went in for my first ever root canal with Dr. sharbash, she said it would be just your average routine root canal, I was very nervous but she assured me it was a very easy, none complicated procedure. About 20 minutes into the root canal she stopped and told me that a piece of the "file" (Titanium) had broken in my tooth and that she could not get the piece out of my mouth. She told me she wasn't going t charge me for being there that day (as she shouldn't) .. The first specialist referred me was going to charge me $2600 for just the root canal, that was an absolute NO being that I do not have dental care as she was aware of, the second one I was referred to was Lake Side Endodontist In parsippany who might I add have been very accommodating and wonderful. I went Friday to the endodontist, he told me that Dr. Sharbash has drilled so much into my tooth that it's going to need to be pulled sooner rather than later. He spent 2 hours working on my tooth to try and remove the piece of file, he was unable to remove it. The only way to remove the file would be to remove my tooth, he now has to go back into my tooth for the 3rd time on this coming Friday and is going to continue the root canal, and leave the piece in my tooth. Which will now require me to get X-rays every 6 months to make sure no infection occurs. Over the last week I have called Seidner dentistry and left 3 messages asking to have the owner Dr. Seidner himself to please call me back. I did speak with Dr. Sharbash who told me things like this happen and that she was not willing to rectify the problem being that it was not her fault, it was the "files" fault. On the 3rd time of me calling the office asking to speak to Dr. Seidner the office manager told me she would make him aware of the situation and that she would leave a message for him. She called me back 20 minutes later and expressed to me that there was nothing they could do, that they would not pick up the bill for the specialist and that they've been nice enough to not charge me for the appointment where they got titanium stuck in my mouth. With that being said I will not being recommending Seidner Dentistry in Randolph due to how poor they have treated the situation. read more

I've been going to Seidner Dentistry since I was very little and his office was just a suite in Randolph. I was extremely afraid of the dentist because I had a pretty bad experience prior, but going in to see Dr. Seidner really changed my mind completely. The office is clean, the staff is beyond friendly and always willing to help, and the dentist's are great! I've had such a great experience, that I decided a year ago to get braces on (as an adult) just before my wedding. Definitely give this office a call if you are looking around for amazing dentists or even if you are looking to get braces. They are the best!! read more

UPDATE 1/4/21 - STILL NUMB and WILL BE FOR LIFE. Thank you, Dr. Sharbash - This happens all the time??? ACCORDING TO THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF REGIONAL ANESTHESIA AND PAIN MEDICINE (ASRA) - Nerve damage is very rare in a regional injection. NEGATIVE "0" stars - On May 3, 2017, I went to Dr. Laura Sharbash for an appointment at such time she said I needed 2 crowns. She injected me with Novocain and used a laser. The next morning I woke up in excruciating pain like I was punched in the face and swollen. Within the next hour, my lip started to tingle and it went numb. I had to wait until the afternoon to get an appt. Dr. Laura Sharbash told me that "this happens a lot" and could take months to come back. I woke up every day for 2 years optimistic that my feeling would return. Those few months that I spent at Seidner Dentistry have left me damaged for life. I spent over $7,000 to repair the 3 crowns she performed, an Oral Surgeon who referred me to Dr. Ziccardi, Assistant Dean of Rutgers University Dental School in September 2017. He told me that the damage "should" reverse itself. In October 2018, I went to Dr. Donoff, Dean of Harvard Dental School where I was told that the damage is permanent and there is nothing that can be done to repair it. In May 2019, I had to have one of the teeth removed because it was never the same since she performed the crowns in May 2017. My biggest complaint is that Seidner Dentistry just blew this off like it was nothing when I have to live the rest of my life like this. Who knows....Maybe this does happens A LOT to Dr. Laura Sharbash's patients... read more

FYI- ive been going here for a year, just getting around to reviewing now. My coworker recommended me here because I have a pretty bad fear of the dentist and wouldn't go unless I was in pain (they do sedation dentistry at no additional cost...i wasnt sure what that was before I went). Anyway, I took her advise and made an appt, best decision!!!! The receptionist are always soooooo friendly, and the doctors are soooooo friendly, the technicians are soooooooo nice, the hygienist is sooooooo nice...ok ok, you get it, everyone is nice :) . For someone who has anxiety about the dentist, this is part of the battle; having everyone friendly. Here's the best part...their customer service. If you have a problem, they will see you, without charge, until the problem is resolved!!!!! Like, who does that now a days anywhere. This place is awesome. I'm still a nervous wreck every time I go there, but it helps to know I'm going to a nice place. Now I go to the dentist every 6 months like I should :). read more

I really wanted to like this place. The people were nice and the place itself is very nice. However, from day one (June through current) billing was an absolute nightmare. Never ever trust this office with their billing no matter how many times they nicely tell you that everything is fine. Always check with your insurance. I went for a consultation to plan out what work I needed to have. Luckily I was given a document of the plans including the price and estimated price after insurance. After the first visit, I was given the bill. I was able to go home without paying and look into the bill. It was a couple dollars off from what my prep lab document showed so I decided to go on my insurance and noticed they double charged my insurance. Had I not looked into this I would have paid double my cost and had less work done based on my insurances allowable amount. I called and spoke to the front lady. They were able to see their mistake and told me it's ok their system is fixed and they corrected the amount I owe. However, it was not fixed with my insurance. Later I received another bill for over $1,000. I called and was told it's ok our system shows the correct amount owed. I said ok no problem. Then I received ANOTHER bill of over $1,000 showing it is now 60 days that I owe this bill. I call again and was told that I actually do not owe that. The date after that bill was sent the insurance paid and I was actually owed $506. So I thought, ok maybe the insurance was finally fixed and it was money owed since I am told by their office that insurance paid and my account is in the negative. So they refunded me that money. I thought the billing nightmare was over and I never had to deal with this office again until two months later. I received ANOTHER bill for about $1600 and it says it's been 120 days. I called and explained what has happened. The lady said she would call the insurance. When she got back to me, she explain that the insurance overpaid them and that Kevin was not suppose to refund me the $506. They also finally had the insurance reprocess visits from months prior which obviously wouldn't have happened if I did not call. So now after insurance reprocesses everything I owe the office $813 because they weren't suppose to give me the $506 that Kevin said I was owed. The people were nice through this issue but it has been their mistakes again and again that have created this billing nightmare from my first day there. So though the place appears nice, always check your billing and your insurance. I am confident they have overcharged people and their insurance, especially if you're the type to trust the office and not check your insurance. Do not trust this office to do the billing for you because they have a failed system. After the fact, I found out the person who referred me to this office left for the same a exact issue. Edit to Response* I understand your apology. However, your kindness and apology does not help or fix this financial hole that your mistakes have put me and my family in during this time of covid where finances are tough and every penny counts. read more

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. However, i went for a cleaning and I was told I needed a tooth scaling and gum planing. Nobody explained why. I didn't really know what to ask at the time. It's a very expensive and painful procedure. My teeth are not in bad shape, gums don't bleed and I'm in no pain. The more research I did, the more I read that this is the number one way dentists scam your insurance out of money. I got a second and third opinion and I do not at all need this procedure. If 5 people a year are scammed into this procedure that's about $100,000 in their pockets. No wonder the office is so fancy. I will never return. read more
