I was so shocked it didn't hit me til I was at the elevator what happened. We left and seriously will never return. So much for specialty for special needs, kindness, and accommodations for working with scared children. I had a bad feeling the 1st visit where he basically told me to shut up he needs to talk. He's lucky I am no longer the New Yorker I used to be! Totally disgusted!!!! All about money and time, makes me sick.

We saw Dr. Tahari today and she was so gentle, friendly, and calm. Then April, hygienist, did the cleaning and flouride treatment and was also very gentle and friendly. I was so surprised at how calm and forthcoming my daughter was during the entire visit. My daughter's first visit back in Mar was challenging as my daughter was crying and scared which was expected due to the new environment. During that visit, the staff were great as well, Dr. Matt worked quickly to examine her teeth, and the hygenist managed to get in a quick brush and flouride treatment. Staff were supportive of me, the mom, knowing how hard and stressful these milestones can be. Highly recommend this great office!

She explained ever part of the process to him so that he understood exactly what was going on and how everything would feel as she performed the work. He was in the chair for almost an hour but was completely at ease and relaxed thanks to her kind and compassionate nature. My son is usually not good with anything that even sounds painful but we had no issues during any of his visits. In fact, even after having a tooth pulled, he still isn't afraid to go back and I think that speaks wonders to Dr.Mann's abilities as a pediatric dentist. My son was very excited to see that they have tv's with tons of kids channels, funny sunglasses, and many cool scents of laughing gas to help make the visit as painless as possible. He didn't even notice when she took his tooth out. Now, only 5 hours later he is totally pain free and as happy as can be. If you are looking for are looking for a great dentist for your kids, I highly recommend Dr. Mann. She works with insurance, but we didn't have dental, so she even helped us figure out a care plan that would work for us financially.

I'm speaking out about a very serious concern involving a dental assistant named Youssef who was…read moreworking with my sister kids, she is not that type of person to confront people but I am. His behavior was completely inappropriate and unacceptable around children. He made disturbing, borderline abusive comments to the kids--including mocking their names and making them feel uncomfortable and ashamed. The way he looked at them and spoke to them was unsettling, and absolutely not the behavior of someone who should be trusted to work with children. To make matters worse, the dentist did nothing to stop or correct him. Allowing someone like that to continue working in a pediatric dental office is dangerous. Kids are supposed to feel safe, respected, and cared for--not judged, belittled, or made to feel unsafe. While the rest of the staff is kind and professional, Youssef is a serious problem. His behavior is not just unprofessional--it raises red flags that should not be ignored. He should not be anywhere near children. Parents, be aware.
