My pediatric dentist was absolutely horrible, leaving me TERRIFIED to get something as simple as a cleaning done. I explained my past experience and fears to Dr. Khodosh, and he handled it like a pro. The entire staff was so warm and comforting, assuring me that I was in good hands. Dr. Khodosh himself was very gentle and explained everything that he was going to do before it did it, along with what I would feel and what to expect so that there were no surprises. I'd never felt so safe in the dentist's chair, so I'm so grateful for Dr. Khodosh and his team. A few years ago, we had to do a root canal on a tooth that was giving me pain. I was so comfortable during the procedure that I fell asleep. I was so astonished, I called my mom lol. Gone are the days of tearful dental visits. They are not lying one bit when they say "gentle dental" -- 100% accurate. If you're in need of a dentist who works well with all kinds of patients and will be able to treat you with kind, genuine care about your dental health, schedule an appointment. I'm getting them off!!! finally get the retainer and it's loose and extremely bulky on the roof of my mouth making speech difficult. after expressing this concern, they said I have to pay 350 for another. if you go to buy shoes, and they don't fit, you would exchange them not buy another pair of shoes. they have no regard for your feelings and then she just left the room, leaving me sitting there for almost thirty minutes. I'm thinking they will return with a resolution. they ignored me. I left extremely upset, no resolution and a bulky retainer that makes me talk with a lisp. I hate Nuva Smile and will never go back. this was the last straw out of multiple bad experiences.

The WO office is on Valley Street. There's a private parking lot in the back of the building. The person who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. I liked the seats in the waiting room and the big windows facing Valley that let in natural light. The exam room similarly had large windows. The dental chair faced the windows, so you have a nice view (to distract yourself) to look at. Alternatively, there was also a TV screen playing video of Jamaica, which was relaxing. I was mentally walking the beach during my teeth cleaning. I was really nervous going in (like a little terrified), but fortunately all my worrying was for nothing. Brenda handled all my x-rays and performed my cleaning. She assuaged any and all fears I had. Brenda is the BEST! and Dr. Klausner was great - he explained my teeth/gum situation to me so that I understood, was super knowledgeable, answered questions or concerns I had, and from what I sensed enjoys his job (I think that makes a difference in quality of care and treatment). So far, it's been 5-Stars with Valley Arts Dental and I feel more comfortable to continue with their office.
