Wanted to give zero rating however it was not an option. When I went to fix my root canal the…read moredoctor accidentally chipped my gums. This was not told to me when I left the place. I had pain in my gums and after a week I went to my regular dentist and she pointed out the nicked gums. Upset I went back to dr. Linenberg and she sutured the gums (more pain) and assured me that they should heal but they never did. My option is to get skin grafting in gums or live with the cut in my gums. We visited many periodontist (gum specialists). None of them think skin grafting will work. But this doctor continues to insist it will. I am sad that a mistake was made, but I am more upset that I got the run around and constant made up stories when I confronted her. She told me she contacted a lot of periodontist for me, but I don't believe her. After three months of waiting and following up I was eventually sent to a periodontist by them, who confirmed that skin grafting has a low chance of success. It took me a while to accept that my gums would stay that way. A simple two visit process took over 3 months and cost way more than I expected. It's my front tooth and I have to live with a cut it my gums. I will never ever go back to NYC Endodontics again.

Over the next year, I decided to attend to my own dental care and did so conscientiously. Today, I went to a different, well established dentist, and received the same teeth cleaning, x-ray and check-up, and was told I needed ZERO fillings and there was no mention of the need for a crown. Interesting, right? SDP presents as skilled and caring, however, perhaps due to their overhead (massaging dental chairs and all), their diagnoses seem to edge towards self-serving. Buyer beware. Additionally, after a FULL YEAR, I have zero pain or sensitivity in any of the "problem areas" they had discovered. **The hygienist at SDP was excellent, as was the front desk staff, and, I do not doubt the skill of the dentists. Unfortunately, my perception of them is that they are more business oriented than "compassionate healer" oriented.

So when my apartment sent a email about this offering right outside the front lobby door-I signed up immediately. Wow- the service was so convenient and then on top of that very thorough. Chairs had heated back massage with option to watch Netflix. The hygienist Nicole was amazing-first time that recession of gums were measured each tooth then cleaning and polish. scheduled my follow up for 6 months and will not have to go far just 50 feet outside the front door. Clean and all top of line equipment inside. Great experience and they also gave up free whitening trays for first time visit to Henry. This was the best dental experience I ever had. The space was super cool and very clean! The staff were amazing they X-rayed my teeth and did a cleaning that was not painful at all. My teeth have never felt cleaner and I was out in 45 min! I'm going to see them in a few weeks next time I am in the city for a cleaning and I'm thinking about getting a retainer! Highly recommend! That have taken away all the pain points of visiting the dentist :-)
