We got to opportunity to chat it up with Armando, the owner as well. Exceptional customer service, felt very welcome here. Additionally we ordered Gambas Al Ajillo, Albondigas and Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious, full of flavor. This is an amazing family-run business. The sommelier really knows his wines, especially his Spanish and European wines. And they offer the perfect dishes to accompany the wine. You can come for appetizers and wine tasting or dinner and wine by the bottle. Seating includes a covered front and back porch. Inside there's a long bar with plenty of bar seating, along with tall two-tops and standard four top tables. For a large party you been rent out half the space or all of the space. The service was like being waited on by friends. They were so helpful in explaining everything and, if you're inclined, they're happy to talk about what they've built here together -- Mother, Son, and Daughter-in-Law, all working in harmony to make this place sing. We've tried a number is wines and dishes get. The Pintxos are amazing. The Tapas are totally on point with our favorite being the Albondigas meatballs. And the charcuterie featured really high quality chorizo, Serrano ham, Manchego and Mahon cheeses, almonds, grapes and an amazing quince jelly that's firmer than a standard jelly and quite delicious. Armando and Courtney are human gems! This place is incredible. I am admittedly not a "wine person". I enjoy the on sale bottle from my local grocery store and I know which ones I like to get for special occasions. But when a place as cool and chill as this pops up in my feed, the curious adventurer in me gets excited to learn and experience new things. My wife and I could not have been more please with our experience here. Everyone on staff was so friendly and kind. They took a ton of time to chat and share their passion. They gave recommendations and reasons. They were so knowledgeable without the snobbery. We tried one of the more incredible wines I've ever had. So I went to Waco to visit my friend and we chose this place for lunch. We had tapas and wine. We got the pan con tomate and the patatas bravas. With the pan con tomatoe you take the garlic and tomatoes and crush it over the bread and then you pour some high-quality olive oil on top. After that you sprinkle some salt over it and eat it with the wine. It was honestly a really great way to eat bread. I had never actually scraped garlic on bread before, but it honestly tasted so good and fresh, this was something super easy that I could also try at home which I really loved. The patatas bravas were also really good. It had Dallas with a gravy that tasted amazing and the potatoes were very crispy and cooked well. Of course, this was a wine bar and the wine did not disappoint. We both enjoyed the wine that we got. Needless to say we were happy with our experience here. The ambience is really cute and would make for a great date night. the waiter was also really nice. We enjoyed the service here as well. read more

The ambience is cool and calming. Beautiful design of the mixture of brick and wood. Makes you feel like you are in an old world building. The low lighting and different seating choices makes it accessible and comfortable for everyone. The service was top notch. Answered all of our questions as people who love wine but aren't particularly familiar with some of the more diverse Spanish regional wines. It was fun to try different menu items and find great new elements if each food item we tried that we either hadn't liked in its own before or had never tried. Great vinho verde, and the sampler is toppings on toasted bread was very good, along with the pan con tomate which involves rubbing garlic on toast and topping with perfectly ripe tomatoes for the freshest taste ever. Cool place. The bartender was very nice and accommodating. His manager (female) sucks at life. Not sure what her deal was, but she was visibly unpleasant. They ran out of wine on a pour for my wife and the bartender was going to just give it to us and she was ugly to him and came and told us she would take off 20%. Guess that explains why this place is empty at 5pm on a Friday. Food is great! Wine is excellent!! Maybe get a new manager. Not a great way to treat new customers. read more

We had a pleasant time at the bar eating tapas and drinking wine. We were provided with excellent service by the owner who truly cares about her guests and is very knowledgeable on what is offered to us. We were given great recommendations on the wine. We ordered 3 pintxos which was served on delicious crisp baguettes. We had the manchego & serano, majorero & chorizo and one with mushrooms. All tasted amazing. Another tapa we got was the chorizo al vino. It was sweet and savory after being cooked in white wine. It had so much flavor and was really juicy. If only we came here on an empty stomach we would've tried more. If we ever come back to Waco we would definitely return and try more of what they have to offer! read more

We found this gem on an early Friday evening. The place is a perfect size. It is not too big and it's nicely appointed. i particularly like the light fixture in the center of the bar area made from bottles...it's fun! Our server, Ariel, was amazing.
