When I lived in L.A., having See's Candies was a forgone conclusion. Now that I am back on the West Coast, See's Candies is once again a mainstay in my life! The uniforms worn by the Servers are a wonderful memory and still remind me of the I Love Lucy candy conveyor belt episode. The chocolates are still fresh and delish and kept at a perfect temperature of 70 degrees(this temp keeps the candies happy). See's Candies! I'm baaaccckkk! read more

This was my first time at this location. The store is located on the main street so there is no parking out front. They have a really small lot in the back but then you have to walk around to the front. When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the ladies that was free and she offered me a sample. I have always loved that See's does this because it gives me a chance to try things I don't normally buy. When it comes to the candy here, I am a creature of habit. I always buy the same 7 kinds. My favorites are the butterscotch squares and the almond squares. This time around, I bought a pound. The lady packaged it up nicely for me and I was on my way. read more

I don't really know if they deserve the 3 stars, maybe just because my kids and myself didn't get intoxicate with old chocolates that past their due date and were still on the shelves. Hubby bought this box of chocolates, because the wife was upset... but he is always distracted, he asked for suggestions at the Sees store representative, and was handled a box with a variety of EXPIRED chocolates, unfortunately we didn't expect they were expired, so we ate all to find later the small paper with the manufacture date, please read before purchase. Apparently there's warranty, but I don't have nothing to return after finishing the chocolates from the box So check check before buy or before eat all I definitely think they really need to do store inventory more often and keep aside the expired ones. read more

Samples are too sweet each time I venture in. Super clean and tidy, almost too sterile for a "candy" store. Sales person approached and offered assistance but very mechanically with little warmth, mirrored the environment. I had a question about the coffee pops and she didn't have an answer so I left. I doubt I'll continue here as a customer. read more

They don't have anything milk chocolate, caramel and salted which is sad. They have so many different options. They also didn't like my mask. I have seen this place so many times and really just wanted to check it out. I won't be bringing any of my out of towners, they will get no recommendations from me. Just horrible service. Giving See's Candies a review is like criticizing my moms cooking. Some things are just sacred and meant to be enjoyed not critiqued. First, every airport has a See's candy so locating one shouldn't be a problem, UNLESS... it's the Holidays. Then you really need to go to the original Sees Candies shop in Scottsdale. Second. Free samples. Free. Ask for your favorite or take a chance on the flavor of the day. Still magnificent chocolate. Third. When your wife is so good at figuring out flavors because she has memorized the shape of the candy, you just step aside and let her go!! LASTLY. Does anyone know how old the holiday gift wrap design is? I cant remember when it was any different? For me, part of holiday traditions is Sees Candies. Happy Holidsys everyone!! read more

A great spot for high quality chocolate! If chocolate is your Achilles heel, take a look at See's Candies! Sometimes they also have free samples, a real treat! People here are super friendly, you can get different sizes boxes according to the weight. A 1 pound box for $20 with about 22-23 candies in!! I was initially shopping for cupcakes but they are sometimes overpriced and not good quality, so take my advice, go for chocolate candies instead! Your guests will be mesmerized by these jewels of sweetness! read more

We stopped in at 15 minutes before closing time and I was pleasantly surprised to be cheerfully greeted and even offered a sample, which, by the way, was the best doggone piece of caramel chocolate ever! It's been a long time since I visited a See's but this visit has restored my faith in and excitement for the brand. What's not to love about See's Candy? By far the best handmade chocolates. Still made in the USA, and it feels like a shop from the 1950s. You can go in and hand select your chocolates --my fav-- or pick up an already boxed set. They still give you a piece of candy just for walking in the door. read more

Went to See's Candies after a meeting across the street this past Thursday. Haven't been to a See's in sooo long (my mom used to take us when I was a kid and now I'm 53). Got the same order she would always get: molasses chips, toffee-ettes and milk chocolate English toffee. OMG--so delicious! The gal that helped me was knowledgable and very nice. Oh, and part of their schtick is they give you a chocolate while you're trying to decide which awesome chocolates to get. Just go there--you won't be disappointed! read more

I always go to this location to pick out the candies I want specifically. I always choose candy that does not have nuts like the buttercream truffles.They give you a free sample and the candy is always fresh. The people that help you are very nice and they wrap your candybox nicely if you want to ship it as a gift. The candy store in the mall does not have the same selection it is not as big. read more

I took part in the festivities by receiving a free sample and purchasing some discounted candies. The staff were helpful, the prices were reasonable (especially with the grand opening sale), and I got a taste of this location (literally and figuratively). Every now and then, I have stopped back at this location to buy a gift or even get a few single chocolates for my wife and myself. There are plenty of boxed options including assorted chocolates, nuts & chews, soft centers, chocolate & variety, milk chocolates, dark chocolates, caramels, bridge mix, and more. We were always offered a sample of one of the chocolates, and it's fun to see the big smiles on the staff members' faces when they give us a free sample, knowing they are about to get a big smile in return. While I didn't go into the store with the intention to purchase anything, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to get a bag of candies and chocolates that I knew my wife would enjoy as a special treat for her. I then got a similar bag with some candies and chocolates I knew I would enjoy. Most of the candies and chocolates were unique ones that I've had something similar but not this before, so I had the opportunity to try a few of the candies and chocolates when I got home. The cashier was the only staff member in the store at that time, and she was kind and helping a number of people before me.
