    four chocolates in a tin

My favorite chocolates, ever! I used to get their truffles every weekend at the farmer's market. They are the friendliest vendors, always offering samples and great about bundling discounts (ie two four packs of different flavors, but they would only charge the price of a single 8 ct, so it was really fun and easy to be able to try a bunch of flavors over time). Heads up if you are local, I would order online in advance because they frequently sell out. I will always make an effort to pick some of these up whenever I am back in town!

Wow! I've eaten a lot of Chocolate in my life but never anything like Stone Grindz. I read about Stone Grindz winning a international award and wanted to try their chocolate. They don't have a store front, so I thought it would be a challenge, but through their website, I discovered the Whole Foods near my house carries their chocolate. Sure enough, I found Stone Grindz on the shelf and bought two bars for my husband and my Christmas stockings--the Ucayali River, Peru and a Cappuccino. It seemed a bit pricey-around $8 for 2 oz of Chocolate. But then I tried the Ucayali River bar. It's described as "Our most popular single-origin chocolate bar. Winner of the coveted gold medal at the International Chocolate Awards blind tasting in Florence, Italy." They say it has "notes of mocha, cedar, dark cherry, anise." To say I didn't know chocolate could taste like this is an understatement. It's like a glass of really good wine that takes you on a journey from start to finish. The flavor of this chocolate is rich and complex with red berries on the finish. Worth every penny and absolutely going on my best of Arizona list:)

They taste as good as they look!

Ask the Community - Stone Grindz Chocolate

    Where is it located?

We do not have a physical location. Sorry it was only recently brought to our attention that Yelp had randomly put us up. I just finally got control over this account so sorry about this. We are only online and at farmers markets.

Tried to go there and it was in a gated community?

They don't have a brick and mortar retail space. Catch them at farmers markets or order online for local delivery.

These chocolates are perfect, not too sweet, melt in my mouth, beautiful presentation and reasonably priced. These chocolates are very high quality and I now have a reason to come back to Scottsdale. The mug is so nice, very high quality. I bought 2 boxes and loved every piece. They are better than most chocolates I buy in Beverly Hills. I'm so happy Zak makes such high quality chocolates. I appreciated the prompt communication from the business when I requested pickup a bit early. I wasn't able to make it during their business hours, but let them know a courier would arrive to do so on my behalf. They immediately let me know when the order was picked up, and even sent a nice thank you. The chocolates themselves were beautiful. We purchased a larger assortment, and I loved the creative flavor options and wide variety of flavors to fit every palate. Our gift recipients gave them rave reviews. Supporting a local artisanal maker is worth the additional cost to me, and knowing the assortment was something that couldn't be found in a Godiva box made it all the more special & unique. We will absolutely be back as these chocolates make unique and delicious gifts.

We arrived a few minutes after they opened on a Friday morning (Juneteenth). The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and was so kind to suggest ice cream flavors for both of us. My kiddo is a chocolate fan, so he went with a small size chocolate with sprinkles and I went with their popular Blue Coconut dipped in Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. When she brought out our ice cream, I thought "oh, how simple" but the moment you take a bite of that ice cream, the flavor is far from simple. It's like that McDonald's ice cream soft serve style creaminess texture and flavor, but slightly richer. The coconut flavor with the sea salt dark chocolate crunch for me was exactly what I needed on that hot desert morning. Seating was plentiful inside and the customer service was definitely on point. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dessert options like the crepes and even their boba teas.

TV didn't do the place justice. It is huge! And clearly a manufacturer first and gift shop second. They seem to specialize in chocolate, but had taffy, brittle and lot's of other goodies. My wife is diabetic, so the large sugar free section is especially appreciated. All of the manufacturing was fascinating. I wish I had visited on a weekday when the plant was in full production. I always am looking for local businesses like this when giving gifts to out of state family and friends. Cerreta's is perfect for this. Hmmm. Maybe a state 48 shaped chocolate bar? Yep, that was fun! They even gave us a free piece of candy on the way out. Definitely a memorable place to take visitors.

They have tours and candy kits to take home as well. It's very clean and payed out well. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you are looking for gifts. We'll keep it in mind when we need something unique and of course the taffy.

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient.
