It appears Inside Out operates some form of bait and switch scheme in order to pack the club out and force higher prices onto customers who have paid entry on the pretense of non-existent drink deals. On occasion, the prices can appear to be "made up" on the spot, depending on who is being served and by what member of staff. The man who was served before me ordered exactly the same as I did, however, I was charged double what he was (and no, it wasn't a "cheaper drinks before x time" thing). The management are clearly not concerned about handling illegitimate currency either; with pound coins received in change frequently being counterfeit or Gibraltan - it is definitely a good idea to pay for your drinks with exact change whenever possible. The hygiene in this place is so unquestionably poor that it is surprising that it is not currently under investigation. We arrived at this club only 15 minutes after opening, and upon visiting the toilets, the urinals were already full of vomit and the floor was half an inch deep with toilet water. On one occasion, a customer urinated in the sink despite there being urinals available. There are no locks on the cubicle doors and no seats on the cubicle toilets. Not one of the 4 taps were functioning which meant we couldn't even wash our hands after using the toilets. The staff use their bare hands to fill glasses with ice which is of grave concern considering the aforementioned issue with the toilet's taps. At the end of our night (over 3 hours later) we returned to the same toilets, and there had clearly been no attempt made to clean them. The sinks and urinals were still clogged with vomit/urine, the floor was now extremely flooded, and one cubicle had HUMAN FAECES ON THE ACTUAL FLOOR. When we pointed this out to a staff member, a cleaner went in with A MOP (which, I add, was extremely filthy) and just spread it around so you couldn't see it! We took photographs and sent them to the borough council. Quite honestly, the rest rooms in this place are absolutely abysmal. On a side note - the whole club has a very strange stickyness... and I MEAN STICKY. The floors, bars, tables, chairs, sofas, doors... it's everywhere, and it will really love to ruin shoes and clothing. Some changes absolutely need to be made to this establishment. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere itself is actually pretty good and the music is entertaining (albeit the same playlist is used every week), but IT IS POSSIBLE to have a good time here if you are willing to overlook all of Inside Out's flaws; and my god there are a lot of them. A night out in Inside Out may leave you feeling cheated, dirty, and wishing you stayed at the pub.

Yeah it's a brilliant club - I fell in love with it then they played the theme tune to Fresh Prince of Bell Air. ahh .... Saying that, they played 'football's coming home' at least 4 times throughout the night - I couldn't help but count. It got a bit annoying. They had brilliant drinks offers though, I got 4 shots and a vodka + mixer for £6, so I was pleased (and tipsy). The club itself was a bit messy and the floor was sticky, but it's a nightclub afterall. The men were particularly sleazy - I was invited back to numerous house parties, but that's not the clubs fault. I would definitely come back here, I loved my first night and was maybe too sober for the second night, but the best things come in three's, right?

As the name implies it has a western theme to it and plays the type of music everyone knows the words and can sing a long too. The last of the bars is called 'Velvet Lounge' I've never seen it open and apparently you need to be a member. A VIP room lacking in VIPs perhaps? The decor inside looks like something from a Beyonce video... full of, or lacking in, taste. Depending on who you ask. The nightclub is called 'Union' and it's a fairly large venue. It plays the usual selection of dance and chart stuff with the exotically named DJs 'Liam' and 'Craig' putting itunes on shuffle all night long! Drink prices throughout are £1.50 for singles/mixer and they have offers on from time to time.

I'm only as perturbed as I am under the illusion that finding a place that was once owned by Johnny Depp means I'm now married to him. Okay, so this particular Viper Rooms wasn't owned by Johnny Depp but it shares the same name. That is close enough for me. Now will it live up to expectations? Well actually yes it does. It's housed in a Grade II listed building and inside they've spared little expense. We're talking four bars surrounded by multiple rooms and a mad mix up of music as well. You'll get anything from disco to Hip Hop. It is beautiful, it really is. A special mention goes out the centre piece chandelier and quite awesome (not to mention comfortable) leather sofas throughout. To get you in the mood and your disco shoes raring the drinks menu will blow you away. It beats some clubs I've been to with a huge selection of cocktails, wines, fizz and beer. This is grade A stuff. It may be a little mainstream for some people's tastes but just go with the flow and enjoy the venue if nothing else.
